im really unsure what item to give gyarados, i thought that lefties may be the better option cus intimidate and his great special defense will let him dragon dance lots, which item is better on dragon dance um gyarados lefties or life orb. Please, i must know

what moves should i give him

Well you have your standard offensive Gyara:

    Gyarados @ Life Orb/Leftovers
    Adamant/Jolly
    252 Attack / 4 Defense / 252 Speed
    - Dragon Dance
    - Waterfall
    - Earthquake / Stone Edge
    - Ice Fang / Stone Edge

    Or BulkyGyara:

    Gyarados @ Leftovers
    Adamant
    156 HP / 108 Attack / 100 Defense / 104 Speed
    - Dragon Dance
    - Waterfall
    - Stone Edge
    - Taunt

Bulky Gyara obviously plays more defensively, while the offensive set is meant for all-out sweeping. Life Orb is preferred on the offensive set for the extra power, but leftovers is certainly an option as well if you want more bulk. Choose whichever set is more beneficial to your team.

Does anyone have a move set for Shiftry? I've never had one so I know nothing of them.

If I am breaking the rules some how, let me know.

The Sunny Beamer is pretty beastly if you can setup without dying.

    Shiftry @ Life Orb
    Nature : Rash
    EV : 4 Atk / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
    - Sunny Day
    - Solarbeam
    - Hidden Power [Fire]
    - Explosion

Setup the sun, fire off the Solarbeams and blow up on something =]

Ive been using this set in NU and its pretty nasty, kinda like a NU SD Luke.

    Shiftry@Life Orb
    252 ATT / 252 SPEED / 6 DEF
    Adamant / Jolly Nature
    - Swords Dance
    - Sucker Punch
    - Seed Bomb
    - Brick Break

Seed Bomb and Sucker are for STAB whilst Brick break is for steels and has great coverage.

Random calc : Swords Dance LO Sucker Punch vs Tauros after intimidate: 84.54% - 99.31%

I need a good moveset on a soon-to-be Gyarados. I have a Magikarp, Adamant Nature (Atk +, Sp Atk -), 252 EV's on Attack and a good attack IV.

The Magikarp is at level 14 right now, so I can get any move that Gyarados can learn.

    I'm thinking about:
    Earthquake
    Ice Fang
    Dragon Dance
    Waterfall

    Any suggestions?

What would be a good Smeargle set?

I feel like trying one out on wi-fi some day and is wondering if this is a good set

    Smeargle - Timid/Jolly (Doesn't matter)

    Baton Pass
    Spore
    Acid Armor
    Amnesia

    or should I go with

    Belly Drum
    and Agility?

    (to replace the stat moves)

Put the rest of the evs in speed and consider Stone Edge in the first or second or second, but yah thats fine. Use a Life Orb or Leftovers.

Honestly the best smeargle set is the spiker lead at this current time.

    Smeargle @ Focus Sash
    Ability: Own Tempo
    EVs: 96 HP / 120 Def / 40 SpD / 252 Spe
    Jolly nature (+Spe, -SpA)
    - Stealth Rock
    - Spikes / Toxic Spikes
    - Spore
    - Taunt

You may use Explosion in either of the first two slots if you already have one on your team, but put all the def sp.def and hp in att. Smeargles attack is low but it does OHKO Blissey and Gyarados and Mence after intimidate.

Skuntank (THE most used nu poke)(sucker Punch) and other priority is rife in nu along with weather and scarfers so reversal/f(l)ail sets are still a very poor option there.

    Medicham@Life Orb
    252 ATT / 252 SPEED / 6 DEF
    Adamant Nature
    Trait : Pure Power
    - Fake Out
    - Bullet Punch
    - Brick Break
    - Zen Headbutt (Psycho Cut is illegal with BP/Fake Out)

Priority cham is your best bet there, its like a nu Technitop being able to keep alot of sweepers in check whilst being a powerfull wall breaker. That or use the standard scarfer.

Shedinja isnt an issue, you should have sr on your team lol

    You're probably right, I've just been cornered in the Frontier a decent number of times by damn Wonder Guard ;~;

Out of curiosity, why us Psycho Cut Illegal?

Psycho Cut and Bullet Punch/Fake Out are illegal on the same set because not all moves are obtainable in the same ways. There are event moves, egg moves, TMs (among others) and they aren't always compatible with each other >.<

Okay, it's just impossible to breed then, makes sense.
On another note, I was thinking this:

    Dunsparce@Kings Rock
    Serene Grace
    Adamant
    252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 Sp.Def
    - Headbutt
    - Bite / Pursuit
    - Rock Slide
    - Zen Headbutt / Thunder Wave

It looks like it'd be more durable in NU than it was when I first found it in Crystal at Lv.5 and destroyed it with Dragonite, and Serene Grace + Kings Rock + 30% flinch chance = at least 70% flinch chance, since I don't know King's Rock's exact flinch ratio add on. Pursuit maybe because I can see how a non Inner Focus Poke might want to switch. I'm thinking maybe ditch Zen for Thunder Wave to make lolzy Para Flinch Dunsparce... maybe Glare since it gets Ground types, but it might be too risky.

Kingd Rock doesnt effect moves that already have a flinch chance.

What should my lulz-Bibarel's EV spread be? I had 252 HP, 136 Atk and 60 defences in mind, but I'm not sure at all. (Max HP, Atk to hit jump point and rest in Defs.)

    Here's the set: (ParaFusion Flinch)

    Bibarel@Brightpowder
    Adamant ¦ Unaware
    -Thunder Wave
    -Swagger
    -Headbutt
    -Waterfall

Thunder Wave, Swagger and then a barrage of Headbutt. (Or Waterfall if resisted.) Unaware renders Swagger's attack boost useless. Thought it would need max HP and some attack, but not sure. And Lefties would probably be the item if hax item clause is in effect.

(This bows down to the mighty Dunsparce above in ParaFlinching, lol.)
