4th Gen Resetting for a shiny fossil.

I am doing that. If I wasn't, I would be digging up Skull Fossils all day.
 
OMG! After roughly 9 (7 strait) hours... it all paid off. I didn't think it would happen so quickly, but I now have a shiny Cranidos! And it's Adamant (wow, what luck)!!! I'm so happy! I guess this is an early birthday present. XD

I'll try to clone it several times & give everyone who posted in this thread, everyone who has been cheering me on (if they want one), a shiny Cranidos. Thanks you guys!

Well, it seems that you had quite the luck for that! (the chances of getting a Shiny with the nature you want are 1/204800!)

I suggest you do an IV check on that Cranidos! You might be lucky enough to have straight 31s O_O (Chances of getting a Shiny Pokemon with the best nature and exellent IVs: not sure, but it's one in a HUGE number)
 
congratulations on getting one! How did you do it? You gave the guy the fossil, left then went back inside? And saved right before he gave it to you?
 
great thanks wolf! I'm trying to get a kabuto with good ivs, so I want an easier way to SR. I originally thought you had to save before you gave the guy the fossil
 
Nope. You can save after you give him the fossil (but before you get the Pokemon).

At its current level, the IVs are only: HP18|A17|D27|SA19|SD17|S21

However, I read somewhere that you don't get accurate IV readings unless your Pokemon is lv100.

I was proud of you, until I read that ur fine with cloning..


You dont deserve a congrats if your cloning it..

Your basically ruining it for all the other people that work hard for shiny fossils..

Way to go....

happy birthday i saw this and i forgot to post on this sorry oh and i really hope you get lucky that would be funny if you did get the right ev and nature and shiny that would be lucky and hilarious

omg ima laughing right now......well i transfered over my lvl 100 flygon to diamond,found 2 different shinies in diamond :)
 
I just found out that you were giving all the people that supported you a lv 20 carnidos that is sweet
