During the battles on the ship I evolved Sneezy at Lvl 24 into a Parasect.
I got Cut and beat Lt. Surge.

I made my way through several routes and the normal. On route 8 past Lavender town I caught my official 3rd member Grouchy the Growlithe. (going for a theme here if it wasn't apparent :3) I made my way to Celadon City and beat Erika with Grouchy.
A bit overleveled too.

Random Challenge in Pokémon Fire Red

FINAL LOG

Well, this run was pretty smooth. I had problems with Brock as I feared. I lost 1st time, but was able to somehow beat both Geodude and Onix with Spearow on level 19. Onix could beat me with 2 Rock Tombs, but for some reason didn't use it after 3 Growls, so I Pursuit my victory.

The rest of the game wasn't that hard and with pretty common Pokémon, I had nice relaxing run. Having 2 Water and Flying-Types made it a little bit harder that normal run, but it was fine otherwise.

Fearow and Gengar were my overused Pokémon. Fearow did well in the early game and Gengar was in front of my party pretty much for the rest of the game. The one I haven't used like never was Parasect, which was sad. I was hoping it could learn any good Bug or Grass-Type moves, but in the end, I had to give it Giga Drain and Dig to make it somehow useful.

I also grinded to level 63 to ensure I won't have hard time in the E4. And I forgot to buy Full Heals, so I had to waste few Full Restores, which put me in the interesting position in the battle with Rival.

Game Update #4

Spoiler:

This is a bit of a long one. I spent a good while grinding up coins to get Porygon at the Celadon game corner. But after a good trek, I obtained Doc the Porygon. With 4 members under my belt I took on the rocket base under the game corner. Blowing through them to get to Giovanni and getting the Silph Scope. I trekked through Pokemon Tower and beat the grunts above, getting the Pokeflute. I proceeded to make my way to Fuschia city through the series of trainer obstacles. I was a bit underleveled due to me trying to quicken this run but I managed to beat him. Giving me a 5th badge, with the rest of my adventure to continue.

Game Update #5

Spoiler:

Two updates in one day, with a lot to discuss. After beating Koga I went through the annoying part of getting Surf and Strength in the Safari Zone. But not all bad as I caught Happy the Doduo. During my travels to Sabrina I managed to evolve him to a Dodrio. I went to Silph Co and shot through the rockets, beating Blue, and beating Giovanni again. Along with obtaining my final team member Dopey the Lapras from the random dude I helped. I managed to grind all my mons up to level 40 for Sabrina, so I could have a fair challenge. I eventually beat her and got my 6th badge.

So after the long break from PC, I finished my run of Firered. Managing to beat the last gym leaders, team rocket, and the elite four. Before taking on Blue. I finished the playthrough with a triumphant win.

Crystal Game Update 1:

Been awhile since I played Crystal, so it's a good refresher to be back to old school games. I got my first member from Elm, Natsu the Cyndaquil. (There isn't really a theme for nicknames this time). I went to cherrygrove and got the map. Before getting the Egg from Mr. Pokemon himself. Along with a pokedex from Oak. I walked back and met up with Silver, beating him easily before going back to Elm. Giving him the egg, I got pokeballs from his assistant. This allowed me to catch my second member on the first route. ToohTooh the Hoothoot (Brilliant name I know). I went to Violet city, and after grinding on pokemon and trainers I leveled enough to beat him. Getting my first Badge
