Return to Hogwarts

"I am worthless..." I whispered. My eyes slowly started to unglaze. "No one cares about me at all. Aunt Emma and Uncle Mitch wish they had a child of their own. He just... God, he was just him..."

I blinked, focusing on the blood running down my arm. I gently licked at the wound, helping it to stop bleeding so much. "No one cares about me. I am worthless. Why does it matter if I'm gone?"

I laughed for a long moment. "Oh yeah, it doesn't."

I looked at him. "Give me my knife."

I stood and opened the window. Slipping the knife from my pocket, I casually tossed it out the window, saying, "No." I returned to my seat on the other side of the compartment, saying, "If you want it so badly, if you're so worthless, go ahead. Follow it. I'm not going to stop you." Crossing my arms, I looked at her with a raised eyebrow.

"If you're truly worthless, go ahead and die. You're no good to anyone. You've helped me, at least. That has some worth."

I glared at him. "I'm not going after it," I whispered softly.

I looked up at him with hurt eyes. "I... I'm glad that I managed to help you," I added. "I'm glad that you see worth in it..."

I scooped Trilla back up in my arms. "I'm sorry you saw me like that. I don't get that bad, often. And again, I'm sorry. I just..."

I sighed. "Never mind. Thanks for getting me out."

Sorry I haven't posted lately!

I started walking around the train, incredibaly bored. Schoocha was walking next to me, holding a gaicantic bone in his mouth. I kept looking into different compartments, noticing all the students that were here. Some I knew and some that were new, there were so many students this year! It just kept growing!

I was pondering about this when Schoocha started barking as soon as he dropped his bone. I looked at what he was barking at, and noticed a strange looking cat run down the isle and a boy and a girl running after it. The cat jumped out of my way and past me. Schoocha's instinct kicked in and chased after the cat. As both the girl and boy ran passed me and I yelled at them in Italian. "Scooza!" I yelled. I understood their situation but they didn't have to run right past me.

Sorry RT, hope this is okay. So many people have dropped out, I had to start somwhere.

OOC: Actually, I was hoping you would ^_^

'How rude... Can't even see that we're trying to prevent Patches from getting further. The world doesn't revolve around her...' Zameena thought to herself, turning back to see the caucasian girl that had shouted at her and Rehan earlier. It didn't take long before the barking pup ran from the girl's side, past Zameena and Rehan, towards the cat.

'Move! Shouldn't you be going after Patches?' Zameena eagerly prodded. Finally, Rehan ran ahead, leaving Zameena behind him, trying not to run too fast out of fear of stepping on either of the animals. Eventually, Rehan managed to put a foot far in front of him, before Patches, and put his arm under the cat's stomach, lifting him gently above the ground, and passing him to Zameena. The pup was now looking up directly at Zameena and Patches, barking.

'Sorry...?' Rehan said, peering around Zameena and grinning at the blonde, recognizing her as a girl from his House, and his year, hoping he hadn't been the cause of too much inconvenience. Spotting the artificial grin, Zameena rolled her eyes, and leaned against the door of the compartment beside her.

Caelyn had strolled along the impossibly long train, hands tightly grasping the book she held. Her little pet slept inside the hood of her shirt, and she was thankful for it. She could already feel her heart racing, cheeks turning pink for no apparent reason; if her Jay~Jay wasn't near her she didn't know if she could fight her growing anxiety. She would probably faint! It didn't help that she couldn't find any compartments that were empty: that would mean she would have to talk to someone, which just raised so many fears she had. Fears which, really, made no sense to her.

Despite only spending minutes with the students from Hogwarts, she couldn't but feel relieved. The students seemed really nice; the first-years were so enthusiastic and buoyant that she couldn't help but feel delight washing over her apprehension. So, she couldn't quite understand what was troubling her. This was already thrice…no, make that ten times better than Beauxbatons. No girls forcing her to do something embarrassing—she'd rather not think about it—and no one poking fun at her for her not-so-good use of French (not that she was so horrible, but for them, it was the worse).

It wasn't until she heard voices before she had snapped out of her thoughts. There were three of them seemingly conversing, albeit one was far back, leaning against the door of the compartment. Almost instantly, Caelyn's cheeks reddened and her hands were clutching her book ever firmer, it was Shakespeare, just so you know. Her amethyst orbs briefly scanned the compartment the girl was in front of and, with lips faintly quivering, walked towards the younger girl. The other two, students who looked like her age, seemed busy with their pets so she decided not to bother them.

"H-hi, there," She began, mustering whatever courage she had – if she even had any – before continuing, "do you mind if-if I, um, sit in your compartment?" Her cheeks were rapidly turning shades of red, she wasn't just used to…speaking. No, not speaking speaking: she meant being the first one to speak, speaking without being spoken to. Ugh, it's complicated. "I've checked everywhere and I-I just can't seem to find an empty one and…" She stopped herself, smiling apologetically at the girl for rambling, which was just ironic.

//. late, late, late! Mari ish sorry~! :0

Zameena began to ignore what was happening between Rehan and the other girl, and stared blankly at the girl that had just entered her sight. Before giving a response, Zameena thoughtfully scanned the girl in front of her. Quiet. Almost shy, but not quite; more just low self-esteem. Judging by her body-language, she seemed very fragile, which was good. Zameena always liked being the leader... Little did she know, this girl had 2 years more life-experience than she did. Regardless of the personality, had she realized that the girl in front of her was older, she would have been much more respectful. Not, however, she continued as if she had control over everything that was going on, thinking little of the girl.

'I don't see why not... You seem like a decent person. And probably less clumsy than Rehan...' She added, shifting her eyes up to her taller brother, beside her, who seemed too pre-occuppied with the barking dog to realize that his name had been called.

'If you're an obnoxious jerk, then don't even think about it. If you aren't, then it'd be nice to have someone sit with us!' The more social side of Zameena was getting the better of her.

'My name's Zameena,' she finally mentioned, holding out her hand with an... Almost sincere smile.

'Our compartment isn't this one, by the way... It's down over there... We just came down here because Patches got loose, and decided to go on a bit of an adventure...' She added, pointing down behind the girl, towards the opposite end of the aisle.

Okay! Good!
~~~~~~~~~~
I started to stare at the girl and boy in front of me. They're really interesting I thought. This boy was the same age as me and I think I remeber him from last year. I've got a bad memory so I'm not sure. I picked up Schoocha started to pet him. "Stop thinking about the cat. You can't eat him!" I told him as he was still stareing at it. "For one it's too big for you. Two, you need to be nice to the other person."
I turned around as I saw a girl walking toward the other girl. The girl seemed really nice, but really shy, like she didn't have any self-asteem at all. Right then I heard the other girl's name. "So her name is Zameena, what's yours?" I asked the boy in front of me. When I turned around to talk to the boy, I noticed the boy was staring at me. "Hello! Did you hear me?!" I yelled at him. "Gabadosa!"
I turned to the other girl. "Hi! Nice to meet you! My name's Lia. You seem like a very nice girl." I told her. I was hopeing Zameena wasn't mad at me for interupting her. Schoocha started to skirm so I let him down. He started jumping up on her leg. "Hey! Stop that! Cut it out!" I scolded him.
I said cooly, "You provided me assisstance. You might again in the future." It was the cold, rational response I had trained myself to give. Yet, part of me was wondering why I had told her everything I did. Why I felt so relieved that it wasn't just me anymore. Why... A lot of things why...
I stood again and began anxiously pacing about the tiny compartment. Without thinking, I reached my hands towards the ceiling, revealing several of the markings covering my skin. Some of them enough to earn an automatic trip to Azkaban, some, enough to make that unecessary for a corpse. I had had to do much for several of the spells in my repotoire.
OOC: Well, those took a while to read. I guess I should try and find time to post between my weekend work shifts. XD
Mari-chan! I haven't seen you in like... forever. o.o; Oh yeah, it's David, just in case you haven't realized. XD
And Raichu-tamer? Holy! I haven't seen you around since my early days as an RPer. Good to see an old face! Right... now I post... XD
IC: Realizing the antagonist I was sitting with was not going to reply anymore, I left my compartment and began to explore the train. I saw some new faces, as well as many old as I glanced into each apartment as I walked by. After I became unamused with my constant routine, I took out a muggle-written fantasy novel. Although they were nothing like reality, they still humored me greatly.
It wasn't long before I ran into some Slytherins painting graffiti on the walls of the train. "Uh, guys? Could you please stop? You're going to get in trouble!" I notified them. However, all I got in return were evil glares, before they began to circle me. I was trapped. The largest one of the five, I believe his name was Versan, pointed his wand at me, and suddenly my outfit was pink. I heard someone else behind me cast a spell, and then suddenly they were purple! All I could do was yell for help now, as they continued changing the colour of my clothing. It would only be long before they started doing worse things.
I looked him over slowly. "Yeah, I suppose."
I watched him pacing, a little anxious myself at seeing the marks on his skin. "Calm down," I said soothingly. "You're making Trilla nervous, and that's almost impossible to do."
I rose and placed a hand at his shoulder. "Something wrong?"
While I was talking to the new girl, I supposed was a first year, I thought I kept hearing someone screaming. I kept talking to the girl and Zameena, waiting for the other guy to say something.
I continued to hear someone yelling, and laughs that I knew totally well. But i wasn't quite sure I was hearing it. I asked the others if they heard somthing. I guess I was the only one to hear it. After a while, I finally decided that I was hearing a Slytherin or rather, a bunch of them. The only other people that find enjoyment in the pain of others.
Schoocha finally picked up on it, and he started running in that direction. I followed him, now able to hear the laughs and yelling more clearly now. It was definetly Slytherins. I came to a halt when I saw a boy surrounded by a bunch of no-good Slytherins. They were changing the color of his outfit. I thought it looked kinda funny but knew that this wasn't the worst they would do to him. I transformed to my wolf form and started attacking them. I was wondering why the boy wasn't pulling out his wand to counter attack. Schoocha was helping me to fight them off. We got blasted a lot but not too bad. We finally got them to retreat, after a while. We had gotten some more help.
"I don't know why I told you a ****ed thing," I growled, resting my head on the plate window overlooking the countryside. It looked like it was darkening outside, sliding into the golden glow of late afternoon. I said, "that never leaves your lips, you hear? This is what I live for."
I began pacing again, then stopped. "We should change for school," I said slowly, rummaging through my trunk for my robes.
I winced softly, looking at his back. "I won't speak a word... I promise, Leito..."
Sighing, I pulled my robes out of my trunk. Turning back, I said rather off-handedly, "Do you want to change first, or do you want me to?"
Trilla wrapped herself between my ankles, whispering words of encouragement in my mind.
I was already out of my shirt, revealing more of the cultist tattoos, alongside several just for decorative purposes. My pants came off equally rapidly, revealing almost all of my frame. I swiftly slipped into my robes afterwards and turned around, wand in my mouth. I said thickly, "I'm shorry, what did you shay?"
Flushing deeply, I clutched my own robes tightly. "N-nothing..." I whispered. "Do you mind... Do you mind stepping out for a minute while I change... I'm not quite as open about my body as you are..."
Trilla blinked between my legs. What the heck is he thinking?!
I shrugged at her, waiting for Leito to head out before I changed.
OOC: Wow, I feel like a celebrity, people remember me! Woohoo I'm Madonna!... Maybe not... Ah well.
IC: Before Rehan had the chance to introduce himself to the owner of the puppy, she was already on her way to another part of the train, stating that she had heard something. Curious, Rehan followed, finding a very odd site; a group of slytherins changing the color of the clothes of another student, along with the puppy and a wolf that seemed to have popped out of nowhere, both of which appeared to be defending the victim. If he was remembering correctly, the victim was actually a slytherin himself, a year older than most of the others in the 5th year, just like himself.
'What the heck...' He stared, not really sure of what to do. It wasn't long before the group of kids fled, leaving the wolf, the puppy, and the victim, along with a few others.
'Are you alright?' He asked the boy. Meanwhile, Zameena was watching just a few meters away, trying hard not to laugh.
'That was... Uhmm... Nice?' She was trying to decide how to put it.
'Well I don't think it was supposed to be...' Rehan responded, walking over to the wolf, and slowly placing his hand under it's jaw, still confused as to where it came from.
'... It's cute!' Zameena finally had a bit of perk in her, happily rubbing the wolf behind it's ear.
'It probably knows that dog... Where did Lia go?' She added, twisting herself around, trying to find her.
I sat there enjoying being pet. It felt nice, now I knew how Shcoocha felt when I pet him. I was looking at the boy and remebered him from last year, if my memory served me right he was also a Slytherin. I was totally confused on why they would attack one of there own?
I finally decided I should change back when I heard my name mentioned. It was nice that we were able to help that kid out. I got up and changed back to my normal self. I saw everyone stareing at me but ignored it. "Are you alright? I hope they didn't harm you!" I asked concerned. "Why were other Slytherins attacking you when you're one yourself?" I was very puzzled. Schoocha started nudging me and I noticed he'd recieved some damage. A few cuts and scrapes. I picked him up and wrapped him in a bandana that I was wearing around my arm.
It wasn't long before a girl, and what appeared to be a puppy with her. At least, I think so. I wasn't paying attention to details at that point in time. Surprisingly, she transformed into a wolf, and scared the bullies off. It wasn't long before a boy showed up as well, and I finally got a chance to give my thanks.
"Uh... thanks for that." I replied, somewhat red... so were my clothes now, actually. "To be honest, they were bugging me because I was attempting to stop them from writing on the walls of the train." I wouldn't be surprised if they were surprised at my attitude. Slytherins were famous for their mean persona. "Uhh... I'm Askan by the way!" I didn't know what to say, really.
I looked at the boy and tried incredibaly hard not to laugh. He looked so funny! "Um...you're welcome! It wasn't any problem at all! I like my wolf form anyways." I told him. I noticed this guy was a lot nicer than most Slytherins, actually, he was a hole lot more nicer. They're usually cocky, annoying, brats.
Schoocha started whimpering and I held him a little looser. "Nice to meet ya Askan! You're a lot different than those other Slytherins. I mean, a Slytherin doing something good?!" I kinda laughed at that. "Sorry! My name's Lia, the thing I'm holding in my arms, is my puppy Schoocha." I looked at him again, and I couldn't help but laugh.
