[Intro] "Returning" RP/Art/TCG Fan

Hello! I'm sapahn. To be honest, I didn't know I even had an account until I tried to register, lol. So, yeah, "returning" in loose terms, I suppose, given I hardly did anything before. I actually shipped out to boot camp a month later and kinda left all my internet activity behind for several years. I only recently got back into online communities, starting with URPG in 2019, but unfortunately that has drastically died off and I'm now looking for a new home for Pokemon-related shenanigans. At present, I'm looking for an RP or two to join here, so if you're into that, maybe I'll see you around there. Possibly interested in getting involved in the art and TCG scenes here, too.

It is never to late to join PokéCommunity, and if you are looking for a friendly place, you have come to the right one!
There are RP you can join in the Roleplay Stage section, the Art Studio section is there for drawings, and you will find all about TCG in the Pokémon Trading Card Game section.
What were the first Pokémon games you played ?

I am into RP myself, so perhaps, we will meet around there! ^^

Thanks for the welcomes, Astinus, Janp and Alex. I'm reading through the open RPs on the forum now when I have time and will probably be dropping a character app or two soon. And yeah, I love Gomamon: good for comic relief, likes to pick on Joe but also knows when to support him and make sure he doesn't lose his focus in anxiety or panic. I've been using him as my mascot/avatar online for a few years now.

First game was Blue back in 1998. Got the promotional video from Nintendo in the mail before release and the rest was history, lol. Although I remember hardly knowing what I was doing and I don't think I managed to beat a Pokemon game until Gen 2 with Silver. I vaguely remember finding Red on Mt. Silver for the first time and being totally blown away as a kid. How about you, Fact?

At the moment, I'm doing nothing with the TCG, but I wouldn't object to getting back into it. I played for a year or two near the end of XY and early SuMo. One of my favorite decks at the time was a Golduck that could hit popular EX's for some good numbers with a single energy attack and trade 1 prize for 2 with quick and easy setup. Bonus points for being my favorite Pokemon, lol. Do you play, ReKoil?

It is great to see more people who have been playing Pokémon since the first generation come in! I will always remember exploring Kanto with my top favourite Pokémon since then, Charizard. Then exploring Johto and finding out we could get back to Kanto after the League!
Catching Zapdos by just burning it... exploring the Unown Ruins... The nostalgia! ^^

I've never played the TCG, but I have two small collections. One from back when I was a child and a newer more recent one.
I don't collect it that heavily.
