4th Gen [Revived] Kanto & Hoenn Starters: Which will you choose?

    Other than the known Johto starters, HeartGold and SoulSilver also include a choice from one of the Kanto starters by Prof. Oak and a choice of one of the Hoenn starters by Steven. Which one of these starters from the First Generation and Third Generation will you choose?

    [ Bulbasaur, Squirtle, Charmander ]
    [ Treecko, Mudkip, Torchic ]

    Squirtle (or Charmander if I change my mind) and Treecko.

    Not that I need Treecko though, since as soon as I get off my lazy ass, I can migrate one to Platinum. (Or SS, if I feel like it/IF I get it)

    It's just my favorite Hoenn starter. I don't need Swampert or Blaziken, I have one lv.100 Swampert and one god-knows-which-level-that-thing-was Blaziken already, so.. meh.
     
    Since I already have all of them it doesn't really matter.
    Although since I'll choose Chikorita (Grass) as my Johto Starter, I'll likely pick Mudkip (Water), and Charmander (Fire).

    Or I might scrap that idea and pick Bulbasaur and Mudkip, because Bulbasaur is the most awesome starter ever.
     
    Once and always, Fire-type starters. Been that way since Pokemon Blue and will always be that way (unless the 5th gen fire-type sucks but that's later.).

    Kanto: Chamander > Charmeleon > Charizard (Awesome)
    Johto: Cyndaquil > Quilava > Typhlosion (Also awesome)
    Hoenn: Torchic > Combusken > Blaziken (All-time favorite)
    Mudkip > Marshtomp > Swampert (Did one ruby playthrough with it. Awesome)
    Sinnoh: Chimchar > Monferno > Infernape (Great until I brought a Torchic into DPPt)

    May do a mono-type playthrough with my favorite fire-type starters. IF I decide to restart, that is. Maybe I'll go get HG and beat it with starters.

    Well, I plan on making four different teams in HG/SS, each with a different Starter and then breeding three of them and putting them on a fifth team:

    Team 2: Kanto Kavaliers
    Starter: Venusaur
    PKMN2: Arcanine/Ninetales/Flareon/Magmortar
    PKMN3: Tyranitar
    PKMN4: Lapras
    PKMN5: Skamory
    PKMN6: Ampharos

    Team 3: Hoenn Hannibals
    Starter: Swampert
    PKMN2: Houndoom
    PKMN3: Jolteon
    PKMN4: Tangrowth
    PKMN5: Scizor
    PKMN6: Espeon

    Team 4: Sinnoh Superstars
    Starter: Empoleon
    PKMN2: Arcanine/Ninetales
    PKMN3: Roserade
    PKMN4: Rhyperior
    PKMN5: Blissey
    PKMN6: Umbreon

    Team 5: Champions
    Starter: Venusaur
    Starter2: Charizard
    Starter3: Blastoise
    PKMN4: Porygon2
    PKMN5: Electrivire
    PKMN6: Machamp

    Team 5 has the Kanto Starters which I'll obtain by breeding my Team 2 Venusaur, My bro's Charizard, and trading over my FR Blastoise.

    Not that I need ANY starters cause I have 'em all but they're free Pokemon so

    im going for:

    cyndaquil because its my favorite starter eva!
    squirtle because that is the starter i got back in the day
    either mudkip or treeko, i cant decide... probs treeko cause then i will have fire, water and grass

    Bulbasaur from Kanto, and Torchic from Hoenn. And when I see Steven I'm going to give him a big hug because he is awesome. XD
