There was once a village by the Eastern Ocean, called Rilaville, where pokémon of all kinds lived. People here, in eastern Greenlands, didn't care much about differences between races or looks, and just lived their lives rather peacefully, finding joy in the small things.

But one fateful morning, two conscienceless pokémon were found on the beach, one girl and one boy. They were cared for and soon woke up, mumbling things. When they calmed down, they couldn't remember how and why they had been washed ashore in Greenlands. But they did remember their own names and histories. They came from other parts of Pokaea.

The most strange thing about them, though, were the tattoos on their bodies. Both had the map of Pokaea tattooed in. On the girl were some places marked and on the boy were others. What did it mean? The boy and girl didn't know themselves. The last thing they remembered was doing normal everyday things in their hometowns. They had lost track of time as well.

An old pokémon in Rilaville, however, said she recognized these places. It was where the legends said that the Crystals of Pokaea were buried. She told the two foreign pokémon and anyone else who wanted to listen, about the crystals.

In the old world, where people were still declaring war over anything, the lands were shaking. They were afraid of the pokémon walking upon it. So the wisest king of the northern lands, Zekrom, and the mightiest queen of the southern lands, Reshiram, made a pact. They took all the lands between them in surprise, and forced peace upon Pokaea. But to do that, they had channeled all their gathered powers into 7 crystals that they gave their armies to power them up.

When the wars were finally over, the world actually saw peace for a long time. Only minor warring occured. Reshiram and Zekrom were tired beyond their limits and fled to the distant south and the far north to rest. They are still resting to this day. The 7 crystals, however, were buried in different places all over Pokaea, with the hope of them never having to be used again. Some were used though, and guarded jealously. They have played their part in the new wars that eventually came into the new world. Others were forgotten over the millennium that passed. But if you study the legends well enough, the places can be found.

The crystals were:

Dawn Stone

Dusk Stone

Moon Stone

Sun Stone

Fire Stone

Water Stone

Thunder Stone

Some pokémon in Rilaville finally decided that this was worth investigating. Others sighed and thought these pokémon were crazy and that they should leave matters be. The two foreign pokémon with the map tattoos of course wanted to know what had happened to them, so they agreed on going on a journey to find all 7 crystals. Because clearly something had to do with them. Maybe they were needed for something dark that was coming? But how had the two pokémon been sent to Rilaville? Was is on purpose or by chance? Was it fate?


... Little did the people in Rilaville know that something was gathering power down in the southern neverending dunes and up the northern neverending mountains. And little did they know that the quarreling among the pokémon kingdoms in the western and southern world was getting more serious. And little did they know that the journey that somebody had made them start, would mean everything when it all would eventually be unveiled.



The Roleplay

You will play as either the boy or the girl washed up on the beach near Rilaville, or one of the pokémon living in Rilaville who decides to investigate and find the 7 crystals.

To steer you somewhat, I will play the pokémon that takes up the role as formal leader for the group. My character will be a seasoned traveler who will be able to tell the others about places they are about to come to. Nifty, ey? Think of it as in The Lord of the Rings, where the group goes on a journey...

The tattoo duo are only special in the sense that they have the maps leading to the crystals' locations in a map tattooed somewhere onto their bodies and no memory of how they got them or how they got to the Eastern Ocean at Rilaville. Other than that, they will function as any member of the group.

I'd be up for it... wait, does that mean that no other stone of those types exist? Then how would pokemon that require those stones to evolve evolve?

They would probably evolve when "the time is right". Like when they grow enough. Or when it would be cool in the story. Say a Whirlipede evolves just in the nick of time to save his companions as a big strong Scolipede. (I think those are their names, but I'm not sure xD)

Truthfully though I'm not on this site very often I've always thought of a way to make such a thing work. I would be u for it if yo make it. Do you have any ideas for how you may want the story to go? Or what the RPers will be doing?

I've had a few ideas, like the Avatar would be from the Earth Kingdom, during a time when there's a war going on between the Water Tribe and the Earth Kingdom, and the Avatar tries to bring the conflict to an end. The problem is that neither side is really the "good" or "bad" side, so it's not like the Last Airbender, where he has to defeat the other side's leader, but an altogether different quest to master the four elements and bring peace.

I've also thought of possibly making it in the Water Tribe, during a time when the Southern and Northern Water Tribes are having a war against each other.

Another possible idea would be the Avatar being from the Fire Nation, and the Earth Kingdom are beginning an invasion similar to the Last Airbender, only it was sparked by a rumor of an assassination of the Earth King (or another high-ranking Earth official) by the Fire Nation.

Of course, these are just ideas, and I'm open to possible suggestions on other ideas, if you have them. :)

I'm really liking those ideas. Actually I feel like you could put all of them together in a sense. It would be a good way to keep the story flowing and keep it interesting at the same time. So if you keep it before the time of Aang we would also get to see some airbender action. Perhaps then you can fuse the story by having the avatar be from the fire nation (perhaps depends on how you want to work it) so that he can then move to the nomads to study aribending, possibly meeting the other RPers on the way. Then they can make their way to the water tribe who will be in the middle of a conflict with their sister tribe. This can be the first conflict everyone faces. Then when you get to the earth kingdom we find out about the assassination and the war that has started because of it. It will also be interesting for the Avatar to be alive during a conflict started by his people. Though this happened with Kyoshi, but all she really did was make an island.

And yes, I'm planning for this to be quite a long time before Aang's story.

Sounds good. If you need any help developing the RP let me know. I have nothing but free time. Also I think it would be fun to come up with ideas for some events

Ima hopefully have MUCH more time to devote to new RPs/RPing in general when school is over... only four school days left, hurrah for next Tuesday!

If nothing else, it gets easier to rate a RP that is somewhere in the T area. And people might think twice before rating it M.
