One could probably play in Skyrim RP without actually playing the game. It's not too different from most medieval fantasy settings, so a skim through wikipedia article (or even checking The Elder Scrolls Wiki) would probably be enough. I played Oblivion without playing Morrowind perfectly fine, just as an example. Skyrim isn't that story intensive.

Sorry :) Skyrim's the latest game in a series called Elder Scrolls which is an awesome RPG. Check Raikiri's link out if you're curious ^^ or search for Skyrim or Oblivion on youtube.

Honestly, almost anything could be turned into an RP. But Elder Scrolls would just be...hard. At least that's how I see it. Please don't let me discourage anyone from doing so.

@Wym SMH, man. How can you not know Skyrim? Too busy wit dat NBA 2k12 I guess. lol!

@Veg: Because I'm not a medieval video game nerd like you too busy to play video games. I can't even play NBA with these relatives over. lol. Let alone another one of your medieval games. :P

I had no idea what the fak Skyrim was until a few weeks ago, when I stalked a few of Skymin's conversations. Then she yelled at me for not knowing what it was, lol. Let's just say it's one of the next games in mah GameFly GameQ. :P

@PkMn Trainer Yellow - Well, a sandbox is a place where you build, why not build a completely epic story in that sandbox? Heh, might take a little work though, lol.

I can just as easily remove all votes from your RPAs and get you un-nominated for Member of the Year if you keep spouting stuff like that. So yeah, shut up. *moderator face*

In other news... I would like to know how a Skyrim RP would work. Because, yeah, it's SINGLE PLAYER and very much a one person game and the storyline would be pretty... well, pretty everywhere. But, if you can think of something cool, I'll be interested.
 
Well... it would appear as if there is opinions about an Elder Scrolls RP. Answer questions time:

@SuperVegeta: Magic. That's how it would work.

@Rakiri: The setting would be similar to the game, plot in secret right now (a way of saying I don't have S*** right now) but levels,skills would be terminated or greatly altered.

@SV again: It would be difficult, but you fail to realize that I am capable of everything. (Not really)

@Yellow: Au Contraire (Spelling?) a sandbox quality is good for RP designing, as you can construct your RP more freely.
 
Remember when I felt stupid?... It was now. Yeah, I really question how well something like that would work, it probably wouldn't work with having a linear story, but it isn't supposed to is it?

Is anyone else really glad that they changed the Wikipedia banner? That old lady gave me the creeps.

Lol, we were kidding Skymin X3 You know me, I am completely and totally insane, so everything I say is so! Too bad tone of voice can't be conveyed through teh interwebz, that can be annoying sometimes, lol.

Anyways . . . I wouldn't join the Skyrim RP. For one, you'd have to figure out a way to make it work and two, I'm in WAY too many RPs. WAY TOO MANY. WAY TOO MANY!!

*Sigh* I . . . have no idea why I just sighed. Like, at all. No idea whatsoever.
. . . Anybody want to co-GM that Spectrobes and/or Blue Dragon RP? If you do . . . I have absolutely no story written, but I figured if you were to be co-GM it would help if you helped write the story? Anyways, anyone interested?

Well, on the contrary we as roleplayers should understand the art of emoting far too well to say it "can't" be expressed. ;)

Well, it also depends on the reader. If the reader misses something, or misinterprets it, or anything, then it leads to misunderstanding~
But, yeah, I shouldn't have said "can't", "difficult" is a bit more appropriate, lol.

Well, here's a small idea that I thought of . . . um, it's not much, but I guess someone could take it and expand on it a bit, and it could bend to fit multiple types of RPs, I guess. Here:

Yeah, whatever, lol. If any of that sounded interesting, feel free to make a RP using that idea, I probably won't anytime soon.

On another note: did anyone see the Pokemon reference on House? Heheheh, the top comment was also amazing: "Doctor House, may I have my Pokedex now?"
I'm too lazy to go get the link. Youtube it. :P
