RPGquest [PG-16]

Julie read what the sugercubes said.

"Silver huh?Well at least SOMEONE replies to my question...even if they don't say it and they put it in sugercubes...."Aqua said."And if your ganna wanna be a smart elic at least tell us your name."

Aqua crossed her arms and looked at Miharu (she doesn't know the name yet).

"Just kidding,I'm not one of those snobs that are rude to everyone, they get on my last nerve."Aqua said.

Silver didn't look up from his finger motions, only nodded silently. It was apparent that either he was far too timid to speak, or he was mute. Suitable for a ninja, if you think about it, but he was very different from a common rogue. For one, Ninjas don't generally wear white. This boy had white hair, grown fairly long medium length, and wore a white hoodie. He seemed pale, but that was just his skin color. He mumbled something under his breath while he stared down at his locket once more, the unknown contents of it known only by him.

"Safaia... Okaasan..."

What was basically his first words here, directed at his locket, mumbled so quiet it was almost inaudible. Japanese words, although he didn't look Japanese, or Asian at all for that matter. (Note: He said "Sapphire... Mother..." Mother being as if he were talking to her.)

He closed his eyes and a tears slowly dripped from his left eye. His left eye. If looked at close enough, had two colors. His right eye was covered by hair though. His eyes were amethyst purple, probably a bit lighter. But his left had a mark of something else... Like a light amber brown. The pale pink flesh of a scar spanned across his face, horizontally, from his cheek, over the bridge of his nose, and to the other cheek. He closed his locket again and let it rest around his neck as he looked at the table... and began making more tea, using some of the sugar cubes he had made his name out of. Between sips of the tea he began to toy with the sugar cubes again, creating something that made him either extremely good with balance, or a master of bending gravity; he stacked the cubes into an upside down pyramid. Starting with one cube, with four on top of that, then a layer of 16, and on. After a couple of minutes, he had messed with everything on the table that wasn't being used. He then picked a piece of fudge and began to nibble at it with very small bites, glancing at his table members, and the table itself.

(I'm curious... How many of you have read or watched Deathnote? I really admire Lawliet "L" Ryuzaki.... Yes, his name is Lawliet, if you didn't know... XD)

Aqua took a peice of fudge too.She had a bit of a sweet tooth. She ate one peice, then took a peice of apple pie and began to eat it with a fork.

"Quiet much?"Aqua said with a hint of laughter in her voice looking at Silver.

She wished he would talk. She hated silence,it was creepy to her.So when no one said anything she begain to sing If your going through hell quietly but still hearable because of the stiff coldness. When it came to the part that the song went "but the good news is that theres angels everywhere out on the street" she looked at Silver with curieosity.

Miharu blinked at Aqua. "Aqua-san might not have heard, but myself and Rei-san, the other girl, have already introduced ourselves. Since Aqua-san did not hear me, I guess that I should introduce myself again. My name is Miharu Mizushima and I am a warrior monk from the Bishamon Temple."

Miharu glanced at Silver as he whispered two words in Japanese. She noticed the tear and blinked. It probably helped to help her idea of him being an angel. Miharu sighhed slightly, inwardly. She hated when things couldn't explain themselves, although she always pierced the answers together in the end.

Silver glanced up at the song when "angels" came up, but realized she was watching him, and quickly looked away. He sank into his chair a bit more, hiding his face more behind his legs. He loved her singing voice though. It released a bit of tension in his shoulders. He obviously wasn't going to eat much. He drank two cups of his own mixture of jasmine tea, and half of a small piece of fudge. He looked away, his wings unfolding just a bit as he got up from his chair. He was around six feet tall standing. He quietly walked outside, and oddly, his footsteps, his movement, made no noise. Not a sound. He left the kingdom dining hall, crossed the hallway to a door that led outside, to a spa (A spa being one of those kinds of olden-times places, where it's hot water in-ground, surrounded by rocks, erm... Ever seen/read Naruto? They had a scene where the guys and girls relaxed in different spas, it's like that, because in this world technology is very limited...). He dressed down to only his shorts (undergarment shorts) and proceeded toward the hot water. He was pretty thin; His ribs were visible, his arms were bony, he wasn't anorexic, but he was thinner than a usual male teen. Probably his 'eating problem' taking its toll. He got down into the water and curled up, just like he was sitting earlier, arms wrapped around legs, and the water was up to his chin this way. He sunk himself in a bit, to where his nose was just above the water. He closed his eyes and dipped his head in a little, soothing feelings running across his scar. He liked heat. Not water, but he liked really hot water. He was a fire. Currently, a small ember, with the events of his life being wind, wind that tries to put out the fire. But the fire refuses to die. It has trouble trying to grow,, against the wind, but it refuses to be extinguished. He was a small, blue fire, one that burned with intense heat, despite its size. Flickering in the wind, but sustaining itself nonetheless. He sat it calm peace, letting the heat absorb into his body, his blood rising, he enjoyed it.

Jeison glanced at the members in his table. He then looked at Table 1. He looked at the archer and the rouge. He then looked at his table again. "Well now that most of us got to know each other better." Jeison said glancing at Travis then back at the whole table. "We should ask when we will be able to leave. If we want this done with quick and start our adventure. I really don't want to sit down all day from my perspective it seems like most people would be anxious to leave. If they had a purpose to. Most of us have a purpose to go. Some don't. We should really head out though. Sitting down won't do us any good. We're burning daylight right now. I don't know about you but I'm asking the king when we are allowed to leave." Jeison said as he left the room and went towards the king. "Your majesty. I am wondering when we are allowed to leave the kingdom for our adventure. Can you please tell me?" Jeison asked the king as he bowed down with one hand on his own knee.

"Yeah sorry, must have been thinking to hard about stuff,so I didn't hear you."Aqua replied.

Aqua watched Silver stand up and leave the room. She almost stood up to fallow him but bit her lip and continued to sit.She took her bow and began to polish it.It was painted blue. She hoped he'd come back soon.Julie drank some water and finished her peice of pie.

"Why is he so quiet? Is it me,do I make him uncompterable?"Aqua wondered.

Julie lost herself in her thoughts. She began to think about her parents. She closed her eyes and imagained the memory of the car crash.Julie opened her eyes and continued polishing her bow.She looked around the room. She put her eyes back on the bow as she scrubbed on a part that had dried dirt on it.

( I watched Death Note Silver, but you may have the same features as L, but he's a super detective! :) )

Travis saw as the one in armor glanced at him. It was obvious he didn't take to kindly to not telling much else about himself, but he disagreed. Just because you were in a group together, doesn't mean you have to start blurting out all your secrets. This is the way Travis thought, and it wasn't going to change.

Travis noticed the one in armor Jeison going towards the king.

He's impatient, but he's got the right idea, theres not use sitting around trying to get cozy with the others, Travis thought. Travis took one glance over the other table and sighed in relief. At least I'm not at THAT table, all that's there is some overly skinny kid with a sitting disorder and 3 women. They would be dead by sundown in a real fight.

Convinced, Travis decided he would make the best of this. At least he knows that the assassin can pull his own weight in a fight. The one in armor should be alright as well, but he could be too sure. The woman, he was uncertain about.

~
The king nodded to the young warrior. "You may leave anytime your team is ready. Will that be all, my son?"
~

Silver sighed and got out. He wrapped a towel around his waist after drying off, and returned back to the group and sat in his strange position again. He then put his clothes back on, though everyone could see his thin figure before he put his light blue shirt on, then his jacket, and zipped it up. He picked small pieces off of the fudge he ate a part of earlier.

Aqua began to stare at Silver came back in.She didn't relize she was doing it.She sat there for about 5 minutes doing it the shook head realizing she was.

"What am I doing!?"Aqua said to herself.

She ate some more grapes. Her figure was pretty good and she didn't plan to let sweets ruin that, but she would eat them, but just eat the same amounts of fruits and vegetables. She picked up a apple and began to eat it.Julie found herself looking at Silver.

"Why do I have a crush on him if he won't even talk to me!?"She asked herself.

Silver glanced up and noticed that the girl, Aqua, was staring. He lit up but oddly enough, his eyes were locked on hers. He didn't look away. He couldn't. He didn't understand why, but he just stared at her.

W-why am I staring...?

He felt trapped in her eyes, but there was no sense of danger. It confused him. He opened his mouth slightly, as if to speak, but nothing came out, and he just closed it again. When he finally broke his stare he looked down at his hands, his fingers intertwining as he fiddled around with them. His face had turned from pale to blushed.

Aqua's eyes got locked with his,and she couldn't fight the earge to contine staring intill he moved his eyes.

"So Silver what part of the Kingdom do you come from?"Aqua asked."I come from the more hi-tech part. Not that its real hi-tech,just more than the others."

Aqua finally got the dried dirt off her bow and she put it back. She smiled at Silver. She would get him to speak if it killed her.

Silver glanced up, only halfway, too shy for eye contact.

"Mori... The forest..."

He frowned and opened his locket, staring intently at it once more. It was wrapped around his neck, it was pure silver, and whatever was inside it he always wanted to see...

"That would be all your majesty." Jeison said standing up and walking away. He didn't have time for small talk now. He began packing food and equipment needed to survive. He began searching through the rooms looking for things he could use on this "quest" he requested for. He walked over to his table and dropped two large bags. They were heavily loaded with things. He picked up one bag and looked around. "When you guys are ready may the last person out pick up that bag?" Jeison said. He then went outside and waited for his team. The sun was still bright enough for them to forge on ahead before dark. He sat down and leaned against the castle walls waiting for his team. He hummed an old tune that his mom use to sing. Humming the words made him a little sad but he kept a serious face. Hopefully everyone makes up there mind quickly. Jeison thought. Unlike Travis he thought group one would handle themselves pretty well. But he could be wrong about that. He looked at the sun and watched as people took the battle horses and rode away.

Miharu studied the others as Silver-san and Aqua-san stared at each other. Rei-san, she could tell, was nervous, although it was obvious that she did have some power. Jeisan-san was impatient enough to go to the king in order to leave. Also, Jeisan and Lyra definitely had crushes on each other. In fact, they seemed to be doing the same thing that Silver-san and Aqua-san were doing. Lucifer was kind of doing what she was doing, watching, making mental notes. If they were to ever go against that group, she would be wary of him. And then she noticed Travis glanced at the table and breathed a sigh of relief. Miharu raised an eyebrow. It was obvious that he thought of this table as weak, probably due to the fact that Silver looked anorexic and that they had three woman at the table. Travis must have been an amateur at fighting if he underestimates the people he does not know. If he was smart, he would not underestimate anybody. She had once seen five grown men try to mug a small girl, but then she kicked them all in the balls and went on her way.

Underestimating anyone is dangerous, alley or foe. Overestimating anyone is dangerous as well. People are full of surprises.

Although he was being quite stupid, Miharu still wouldn't underestimate him. Perhaps it would be good to watch out and study everyone just a bit more.

(Ooc:I swear to god if my internet doesn't stop messing up when I try to post)

Aqua smiled at Silver happily, glad he said something. She seemed to be her happy self again.

"I went to that forest with my dad once when we were going to a different part of the kingdom."Aqua replied.

After some silence Aqua began to hum Long Live but when it got to the corus she found herself singing the rest of the song.

Silver glanced at Miharu, noticing how she seemed to watch everyone closely.

Studying the other team? That's a pretty good idea...

He glanced at the other table too, sensing the boy that obviously thought them weak. He felt irritated but the smiled a bit.

Good, underestimate me, that's your first big mistake. It's like you've walked right into your own grave. And you think because there are three girls at this table we are a weak team?

"Sexist pig..."

Silver said irritantly, then realized he said it out loud, and turned back to his table. He was really quiet when he said it. The other table wouldn't hear it, but his table surely did.

"Baka!"

He quietly said as he smacked his forehead. The comment was directed at both himself and the boy. He looked down at his twiddling fingers.

"My apologies..."

He mumbled. He didn't look up to see their reactions though, he began to take puny bites of his still-unfinished piece of fudge.

Miharu glanced, amused, at Silver-san. It seemed that he noticed the same thing she did about Travis.

"No need to call Silver-san stupid," stated Miharu. "Although, Travis-san is being a baka."

Miharu paused slightly, before continuing on in Japanese. "So, is Silver-san Japanese? Or, does he just know the language? I have noticed that Silver-san can speak quite a bit in Japanese."

Lyra nodded and stood glancing at Travis. She could tell he thought she was the weakest one in the group and she herself even thought that. She was unsure if she would be able to take a life and knew she probably would be the weak one. With a loud sigh she followed Jei outside.

Aqua began to silently laughed. No noices came from her but she looked like she was muted while laughing, exept her mouth was closed. When she stopped she looked at the other table. She looked a the archer. She knew if she ever had to fight him she'd beat him.But she hoped not to have to fight him.She looked at Silver.

"So when are we going to leave and start the journey?"Aqua asked.

"And possilbly enter our own graves on this dammed quest."Julie thought.

Julie looked at Silver as she waited for a reply.
