Russia's ICBM testing

Kim Jong Un and his goons aren't the only dirtbags America and the rest of the world should be worried about. Looks like Putin is testing a new powerful "Satan 2" missile. And he brags that it is invulnerable and can strike anywhere.

Apparently this is the second time Russia has tested this new missile. But it's probably a bigger deal this time given the whole thing about that former Russian spy getting nerved gassed in the UK the other day and all that.

I feel that we're slowly devolving into a second Cold War at this rate...

With the current American presidency and the peen war with North Korea, and then Russia getting in the mix, this may only get worse before it gets better.

America has no authority to do that anyway.
"Leader of the free world" is a turn of phrase and not even an accurate one.

Putin's nuclear testing is wrong and probably goes against like thirty treaty agreements but trying get the US involved in the forefront of dealing with this issue is a terrible idea.

If the demand was made for Russia to get rid of all their nukes, they would likely say that they would only agree to do it only if other countries with nuclear weapons (the US in particular) give up theirs as well. But no country with nukes is going to give up theirs. And if even if everyone did, somebody would probably eventually just make them again.

There is also the question of how one safely disposes of a nuke as well.

There have been efforts to reduce the amount of nuclear missiles world wide. I think we can dismantle and retire them all over a long period of time with the right leaders in place.

Uranium in nuclear missiles can be mixed with less rich uranium and used at power plants. Plutonium can be used at power plants too.

Putin knows he can get away with a lot given that the international community can't/won't pass sanctions or rebuke them without the US on board, and seeing as we can't even follow through with expelling a few diplomats properly, we won't do anything really about missile testing. Plus, the United States barely has a functional state department to handle such an event right now anyways. :(
