In all honesty, I wouldn't be surprised if Empusa recruited Candy specifically because she was confirmed to be Hephaestus.

Also, I have been doing some thinking . . . and I do think it's possible that JaDe could potentially be Stheno. Or something else. But it's been me, gimmepie and Candy that have been hit by Stheno, and JaDe would be someone that would target us, and you need only look so far as Faeries & Lycans to see that he's been involved in "backstabbing" tactics in the past to provide a false veil of innocence to a member of the Mafia.

For now I won't change my vote, but these are things to consider.

Im almost 100% sure that Candy was recruited. Here's why.
1. Candy tastes sweet (duh)
2. Candy is an olympian, as stated in the day post that an olympian was recruited that night.
3. The olympian is male, Candy is Hephaestus, a male god.
4. The quote, "you followed us before, now you're only going to follow us", this implies that Candy visited Empusa (or a vampire) during one of her previous visits, and now has been recruited by Empusa.

And I swear if someone asks who Candy followed I'm going to backhand you out of this game. Candy could VERY EASILY just say a bunch of random names and throw us off of our trail.

Also there are confirmed 4 vampires now -3 plus Empusa- in case anyone was wondering

it wasn't mentioned, so, unless Aiden forgot again, it's entirely possible that he's faking it.

Does killing Empusa mean killing the other vampires as well? I know the OP stated that the role is "basically that of a cult" but I want to make sure.

If it works the same way as regular cultist does, then imo lynching a vampire isn't a very good idea this early on given that they're easily replaceable. What you're going to achieve is basically lessening the amount of required people that they need to recruit.
 
Since when will a kevlar vest protect you from a noose?

Even in EM they don't protect you from lynches. I doubt that Candy will live through the lynch.

EDIT: Killing a vamp is betting than killing an inno imo. And since we don't have many other leads at the moment (since all of the others were cc'd) I'll settle for killing Candy. Also it might remove Hephaestus's power from Empusa, which would be useful for us to get rid of

Wow. Hey, remember when I said that Absol was vampired back at Day 2? Did anyone even bothered lynching the guy? Hell no, the minute you all realized she got a vest, you all went "nah let's not kill him" and went for a JohnnyMustang BW. >C

Suuuuureeeeee... Let's be honest, if Absol really was the doctor why didn't you all go lynch him back then? Instead, let's go for the role that's pretty much useless unless you know who you're watching.

I'd rather have an imitation doctor dead than candy at this point, especially if killing the vamps rids Empusa of the twisted role (which it may or may not)

This is true, but Candy was inno Hephaestus at this time, and we didn't know her role by the next day, and when it got to the next day no one seemed to remember (or care) that Candy said Absol was recruited

Is there a hint to Absol being vampired somewhere? Killing these vampires to take Empusa's twisted abilities away would help, if that's how it works.

More like I'm questioning on why did you even lynch me for being a vampire when the one I told you all at Day 2 was ignored. Heck why do you still think I'm a vampire? .-.
 
well if what honey said was true and bidoof is correct then I'll change my vote to [Kill] Absol used Bite!
 
Tbh if Vampires return to their original faction it'd be a lot better if we try to lynch Empusa. If we do lynch Absol, assuming they are a vampire, then they still get another member to replace them.
