Plot: A girl, Yūri Kurahashi, after watching a cursed videotape together with her friend in a haunted house, becomes trapped in a conflict between the two murderous ghosts: Sadako Yamamura and Kayako Saeki

So we see two of Japanese horror cinema's most popular and iconic murder queens about to collide in what I like to call a crossover that i think a lot of Asian horror fans have talked, joked, and even shared laughs about.

So what do you guys think of this upcoming crossover of The Ring and The Grudge based from this trailer? Discuss down below.

Ring was my first Asian horror film. I've seen all its different versions and sequels and as much as this looks almost laughably silly I'm going to see it, too. I really don't know what to expect from it though.

So when are we expecting an American remake of this? Also I would be more interested in a ghost vs. alien movie than a ghost vs. ghost one.

Weren't the Japanese versions of their solo movies just as scary as their American remakes?

Well, that's a matter of personal opinion I guess. I thought the remake of The Ring was a little too hammy and didn't have the same atmosphere as the original. Maybe that's just because I saw it first.

I really liked The Ring and The Ring 2 (the US versions mind you). They're among the few horror movies that legit scared the living shit out of me at points. So I wouldn't mind seeing an English version of this if they could keep it as good.
