Saddest Episode?

    What do you think the saddest episode is?
    I'd say its Pikachu's Goodbye or the giant pokemon island when the pokemon thought they were abondoned
    i'm not too far in the series though :p
    So what do you think?
     
    Pikachu's goodbye where we get thrown into a emotional tornado because pikachu chooses to live with the other pikachu but in the end pikachu rejoins ash
     
    Don't remember which episode it was, but I was pretty saddened when Misty left Ash and Brock in their journey. ): She was later replaced by May, though, thankfully, who was equally as awesome. When I'd first seen her, I actually thought it was Misty but only with a different outfit and hairdo, haha. Their designs were extremely similar; I'm sure I'm not the only one who felt this way.
     
    Probably the saddest episode for me is Pikachu's Goodbye. The song that played during the flashback clips as Ash was running away made me cry when I heard it for the first time in years.
     
    bye bye butterfree was the only episode that made me cry, o god just thinking about it makes me wanna......*sob* butterfree!!! why!!!???? *cries uncontrollably*
     
    Saddest episode for me for the first ep of Best Wishes. It was then and there I realised they'd well and truly screwed Ash.
     
    Fear Factor Phony when Wobbuffet was heartbroken by Kirlia.

    For some reason I didn't think Pikachu's Goodbye was that sad... Maybe because I knew Pikachu wasn't going anywhere. Only two episodes (that I can remember) made me tear up a bit: Charizard's Burning Ambitions and Memories are Made of Bliss. It was sad seeing Charizard stay at the Charicific Valley and the plot of that episode was just plain sad. Memories are Made of Bliss is sad because I really didn't want to see Brock and Dawn go and Piplup's behavior was so sad D:
     
    For me, I would have to go with Bye Bye Butterfree as being the saddest episode. It was pretty sad since Ash released the very first Pokemon he ever raised from its first form to its final form. Plus it was also the first wild Pokemon that Ash had ever caught. It actually made me cry.
     
    bye bye butterfree and the episode when jesse and james had to let go of their weezing and arbok. we just saw them every single episodes and then all of a suddent hey had to let go of them. the music really didnt help in this situation, it made the episode even more sad.
     
    IMHO Pikachu's Goodbye was the saddest of all the episodes I've seen. And even Jessie and James sending out their Weezing and Arbok was having a sad tone.

    EDIT: Even Memories Made of Bliss really saddened me, the most saddest goodbye episode in Pokémon.

    Finally someone mentioned it. They're the bad guys, but come on! That was really sad also.

    As for me Bye Bye Butterfree. Caterpie was his first Pokémon and I liked Butterfree. Seems that Butterfree's don't live with the 'Bro's before hoes code'.
     
    The episode that just aired, "Seeking Shelter from the Storm!"
    The second half of the episode caught me by surprise.

    The saddest episode for me was when Misty left the show. It was so sad because she had been with Ash since the beginning and they went through everything together. :'(

    Yeah I just saw that episode, it killed me, I really didn't expect it to be that sad. :'(
