Salandit might become my favorite Pokemon

    Is it me or I haven't seen many members in the hype of Salandit

    So guys, do you have any Pokemon that might become your favorite Pokemon in the sun and moon games?

    Or if not, who's your favorite new Pokemon? You can only choose one.
     
    Yeah Vikavolt might not be my favorite Pokemon in this generation but it might become my favorite bug type!
     
    I will probably be using Salandit as my main Fire Type.

    Also, even though it wasn't data-mined, I think genders will have different looks. The info from the main pokemon site, almost makes it seem like there will be forms.

    However, I think it would be more so a gender different like Meowstic and Pyroar.

    Currently my favorite pokemon is Mudsdale by far.

    I absolutely love Lurantis, Tsareena, and Rowlet3. One of them will most likely end up in my top ten by the time I finish the games. I also like Stufful, but I'm not sold on Bewear yet.
     
    How dare you make me choose one... but if I had to choose it'd be the Popplio line. It was the starter I sided with from the beginning and seeing that siren confirmed real was just the reason why I knew I had Popplio was going to have an awesome final evolution. And now there's the thing going around that it can learn what is essentially a move that is Light Screen and Reflect in one.

    I wonder why you say so? Can you explain? I would like it if it's the case :3 but the data mining should have showed it... I hope we haven't see them all!

    It is still possible that a lot of stuff what scrubbed, but I still think it is possible to have form changes. Maybe not new pokemon, but still forms. As for why. I don't see them stopping the massive gender differences after they have brought them slowly in for the last 3 generations.

    It is obvious that they tried very hard to scrub everything and it is possible that not everything is finished like forms, so there might only still be certain gender forms that were not in the demo.

    Salandit females not only release toxic gases, they can also emit pheromones that attract males of all species, including Pokémon and humans. Inhaling these pheromones may cause opponents to be controlled by Salandit's will.

    Usually when they make gender references like this, it will sometimes mean that they look different, even if it is slight.

    Salandit's evolution actually sits nicely with me! It isn't too overdesigned and it certainly isn't too plain either. I think that's pretty much what I expected it to evolve into and I know that if I'm looking for a decent Fire-type for Alola, then Salandit will be my go to Pokemon!
     
    I immediately wanted it as part of my team after seeing the evolution's leak!

    So cool, nicely plain designed.

    Since I'm choosing Popplio as my starter (and good lord I did because there's no good new Water-types) I was planning Salandit for my Fire-type the moment it was revealed. I like how well its evolution came out like you said, not too plain but also not too much.

    I'm definitely expecting it'll be a popular choice among those who don't pick Litten and want an awesome Fire-type.
     
    Salandit is pretty cool, I like its concept and design a lot, particularly its evo's. However, it's not for me. I don't really go for the "cool" designs so much as ones I like personally.

    I instantly fell in love with Steenee, and Tsareena is pretty awesome. Ribombee is really cute too, and it's going on my team if Popplio's final evolution ends up not being Fairy-type.

    I will use the grass starter no mather what, and I really like Rowlet's line, but yeah I want 3 grass types in my team, Salandit, and Popplio would have made a good water choice. If I didn't had a tradition to always start my first playthrought with the grass starter (and if Rowlet wouldn't have been this awesome) I would go with Popplio.

    For the first time ever I am complaining to have both starters in my team.... Or another water type I like is Wishiwashi, but I have to see the stats and moves. The fact it doesn't evolve and only change form is sad because it doesn't have a "real" ability...



    It is strange to see all that love for Salandit as I usually like the Pokemon the others don't like X)
    But it's true, we don't have many fire types in this generation... and my team have 2 (Marowak is my favorite Pokemon)...
    maybe 3 grass type and 2 fire type, this isn't going well XD
