Saving Celebi [14+]

"Oh thank Arceus," Ambrose said as he walked away as a Roselia came up to the group.

"Everything ok here?" it asked. "My name's Amethyst by the way, but most people call me Ame. Are you guys helping Celebi?" She motioned to the unconscious Mightyena. "What happened to him?"

"That's right!" Cobalt announced. "I'm Cobalt! These are my friends; Nova the Absol, Daiyu the Pikachu, Riz the Raichu, and Ambrose Flannigan the Spinda! Nice to meet you! Are you trying to help Celebi to?" The hyperactive Mightyena grinned. Nova just glared. She didn't remember anything about being his friend.

"It's nice to meet all of you," Amethyst said cheerfully. "And yeah I'm helping Celebi. I'm heading southeast to try and find Rayquaza. How about you guys?"

"Good luck not getting killed!"
Ambrose's voice came from afar.

"You're leaving? Good luck to you too!" Cobalt called after the Spinda. Nova rolled her eyes. 'He's hopeless,' she thought.

"I can only guess that he had something to do with what happened to that unconscious Mightyena. Am I right?" Ame said. "He doesn't seem like he's a very nice person." 'At least he's not a hyperactive, happy idiot,' Nova thought.

Nova stood up and started walking south. "Waist time here if you like. I'm leaving," she said over her shoulder.

Cobalt's ears twitched. He had thought he heard... No it was nothing. He put his nose in the air and sniffed again. He smelled danger. He then realized he had been asked a question.

"Oh, we're headed for Registeel!" Cobalt said distantly. He continued sniffing. Someone was in trouble. He could feel it. He began to follow the scent, forgetting about the others. He couldn't just leave someone in danger.

"Waste time here if you like! I'm leaving!" he heard Nova say. Helping someone out was wasting time? Then why was she helping Celebi? Cobalt put that out of his head, and kept walking, slowly following the trail he was on. He had memorized the scent's of the others, so when he was done, he'd be able to find them again.

"I gotta check this out. I'll be fine, so don't worry about me. I'll see you all later," Cobalt said quietly. He wandered off after what ever he was smelling.

Ambrose's Uproar ended, and he stumbled a bit as he clenched his stomach. Using Uproar always created an awful feeling for him in his gut, and it would keep happening until it finished. He quickly took in his surroundings. The Mightyena were clenching their ears and shutting their eyes in pain, being rendered temporarily deaf.

Ambrose quickly tried to maneuver his way out of the crowd and escape. He was failing to even wobble away fast enough, because the feeling his stomach was becoming unbearable.

He fell to his knees. No. It can't end like this.

He tried to see if he could manage to hide somewhere nearby. He saw a small pile of hay near a rundown cottage next to him. He squabbled over it to and tried to lie down.

....What is this?

Ambrose had his back in a weird curling position. He stood back up; falling to his knees again and saw what he had accidentally laid on. An.... egg?

The Mightyena were started to recover and looked for Ambrose. They stopped and dashed towards him, looking to end their hunger and teach him a lesson for doing that to them.

Ambrose began to panic and was interrupted by a wave of force wobbling in his stomach. He left out another Uproar, this one extremely louder than the last. People a hundred miles away probably heard it.

Amethyst watched Cobalt as he left. Registeel. One of the Golems of the Hoenn region. It's believed he lives in this jungle she thought before looking after Cobalt. It seemed like he picked up the scent of someone in trouble. "I gotta help" She muttered rushing after the Mightyena "Cobalt wait up!" she yelled wondering why his group seemed to take no interest in him wandering off. If he was helping someone in trouble she wanted in, after all she was all about helping others. Catching sight of him again she yelled "Cobalt!" hoping to get his attention.

Cobalt continued on, not really noticing Ame yelling after him. When he got something in his head, he drove after it. He heard a very loud shriek. He knew he had been right now! He could now identify the scents. One was Ambrose Flannigan. The rest were Mightyena. The whole pack was after him. Cobalt broke out into a run. He had to do something. He spotted Ambrose Flannigan near a house. The Mightyena were all occupied by the loud noise. He growled savagely as his instincts took over. He was intruding on their territory. He was also large and imposing. He would be a bigger target for them. Then they would rip him apart. Unless... He took control of the pack. But the only way to do that would be to beat the Alpha.

Cobalt rammed into the Alpha of the pack as he recovered. The two of them circled each other, growling menacingly. This was not good! There was a reason that he was the Alpha, and Cobalt wasn't a part of their pack. Well, Cobalt wasn't a part of their pack by choice but still. Cobalt lashed out with his claws, only to dance back out reach. The Alpha tried to bite him, and he jumped back yet again. He moved in and swiped the Alpha with a paw, leaving a few small cuts. In return, he got hit in the neck by the Alpha's oversized paw. The two began circling again. Cobalt wished now that he hadn't been the runt of the litter.

Ambrose's eyes were being covered with a blurry filter when he stopped Uproaring. He felt sick to his very core, ready to vomit if not pass out completely. His plan had backfired on him, actually making it assuring his death to the Mightyena than preventing it. He started to lose himself as well, not thinking clearly and not in his right mind.

Suddenly, something that looked like another one of the foul dogs jumped out of nowhere and started circling "Doudge" or whatever it was the moronic Mightyena called him. Having his vision increasingly becoming unusable, he saw some movement, not being able to understand just what was going on.

He wobbled his head in all different directions until he saw a green smudge in his view. Yes, that must be the way out. There's no other green here. Yes.

He got up in his dazed state. He lifted his leg to go over to the green blob but stopped. "Oh wait," he thought, "that egg t- thing."

He turned around to see a large blob that was the egg. "It's gonna get eaten if I leave it here!" he stated out aloud, sounding drunk.

He, um, did something similar to moving and picked up the egg. It was extravagantly light. "Whelst that's con-vine-E-ain't!" Ambrose said, obviously becoming more out of it as the moments passed.

He looked at the green blob again. "Well times to get der move on, my budd-I" he exclaimed as he stumbled over to the blob. It started forming blue and red blobs as hands. Must be a good sign, right?

Cobalt was aware that the rest of the pack had formed a circle between the two of them. He hoped Ambrose Flannigan had gotten away. He really didn't want to have done this foolish thing for nothing! The two of them continued to circle each other, and the Alpha went for Cobalts neck. Cobalt was glad he had that scarf on! It was more than a fashion statement. It actually protected his weakest spot in times like this! Cobalt went down under the Alpha's weight, and kicked at his soft belly. The Alpha grunted, but didn't let go of the scarf that was protecting Cobalt from getting hurt very badly. Cobalt got his hind legs beneath him and reared up, ripping his neck from the Alpha's chokehold. Cobalt kicked out with his front legs, knocking the Alpha to the ground. His neck hurt, and he had a lot of small scratches. The Alpha didn't look that roughed up either. He wasn't backing down. This was far from over.

Amethyst caught up with Cobalt and saw him standing in the middle of a circle of Mightyena fighting what looked to be the Alpha of the pack. Oh No she thought not liking to see her new friend in danger. He looked to have a few scratches and the other Pokemon wasn't to hurt either, but as she watched she could tell the Cobalt seemed to be doing pretty well on his own.

All of the sudden one of the Mightyena in the circle turned around and growled at her. "What are you doing here. This is our territory back off"

"I'm just passing through and you can't tell me what to do" She said standing her ground looking up at the larger Pokemon.

"It's our territory so I can tell you to leave" He growled starring menacingly at Amethyst.

"Make me" She retorted jumping back gracefully as he lunged at her. "Oh Seems like somebody has a temper" She taunted her childish side coming forth as she sent Poison sting at the Mightyena.

"Why you little..." The Mightyena growled angrily before wincing as the poison took affect. Amethyst smiled triumphantly and the Mightyena lunged forward biting down on her leg causing her to cry out.

Ambrose was finally gone. His walking patterns were more his legs leaning forward and falling, only to be quickly recovered and the process repeated. His hearing was shot, not being able to interpret sounds anymore. His eyesight was reduced to everything being a circle of their main color. And his mind was the worst of all. He was completely stupefied and reacted to everything purely on his feeling about the color.

A light shriek came from the green blur as a black blob overlapped her. The colors are mixing! This is surely a magical occurrence. I have to go watch.

Ambrose tried to run, and of course, failed. He ended up falling and rapidly rolling on the ground, smacking the large, black smudge directly, sending it to his side. Hehe. We don't mix. Another sound came from the green circle.

"Hi there, magical color! Can you make this a beautiful periwinkle?" He shoved his arms over him to show the dark-colored egg. But it was a black blur to Ambrose.

((OOC: Um, shouldn't we slow down a bit? o.o gotta give //ANDthen a chance to post, after all.))

Several of the others reacted in anger, Cobalt in sadness, at Daiyu releasing a thunderbolt. This was actually an accident, and Daiyu knew they would get hilariously angry if she did it on purpose - and with much more force. If she could find an excuse to do it, why not?

She stood up again and teetered a bit more, but she was more responsive now than a few moments ago when she was wobbling around like a toddler.

There was another oddly colored Pokémon in their presence, that had probably shown up when Daiyu couldn't tell left from right. This one was a Roselia. Daiyu hadn't caught her name, though.

The Spinda who referred to himself as "Ambrose Flannigan" left the scene, wishing luck to the others so that they wouldn't somehow kick the bucket. What? Does he see us as some kind of idiots? This was coming from the little bear with two names.

Daiyu took one last teetering step backwards and then fell onto her bottom, finally recovering from that pesky attack. Suddenly, she heard a loud uproar, followed by another that was twice as loud. She pulled her ears down as the booming sound nearly ruptured her eardrums.

Cobalt ran toward where Ambrose had gone, and the Roselia followed right after him. Daiyu glared at them as they left and let go of her ears as the thunderous sound dissipated. There was no way she was going to follow after them. She preferred to stay here with Riz, since he was pretty much the leader of the bunch, after all.

[OOC: Pity. We seem to live in different time zones. Oh well, I'll try to make a POV post to cover everything...

I did one that was even longer, but it disappeared when I clicked a wrong button ;.; never write long replies in the Quick Reply box, check. Now I'll just make Riz fall a bit too hard for the teetering dance, so he can skip the events with Ambrose in the middle. ]

Daiyu walked along in thought but answered Riz. "Um. Nah, I just came here about three months ago, I guess." She then looked up at him curiously, her big eyes glowing. "How about you?"

Riz thought for a while. "Several years," he replied. "I came here as a Pikachu, but evolved pretty quickly to get stronger. I think now... that I evolved too young. Don't make that mistake."

He wondered if they had managed to get far from the village yet. He knew about some hyena lands that they should reach pretty soon. Unless they had gotten lost.

"Need some help over there?" Daiyu suddenly called ahead with an unmannerly laugh. She was looking at some pokémon in front of them.

One of them was... a Spinda? Very oddly colored. And the other one was a Mightyena. Aha. So they had reached the hyena lands. Well at least that was a good sign. Now, all they needed to do was to walk around this encounter and greet the hyenas friendly and respectfully and there would probably be no problem...

"Hey! What's your problem?" Cobalt called out to the other Mightyena to get its attention. God, no. Of course the hyperactive Mightyena couldn't let a chance slip to interact with his own kin. Riz put a hand on Daiyu's mouth to at least stop her from calling out anything else. Maybe he should have told them about the hyena lands before they got here. The only one who seemed to know that it would be best to back off and just watch, was Nova. She kept to the shadows, where her dark fur helped her stay pretty much unseen.

Riz saw the Spinda, or whatever it was, talk with the hyena... and then march forward and push it aside to get past. Bad move. Indeed, the next second, the dog's jaws were around his neck. Cobalt immediately took a leap forward and attacked the other dog so that it let the teddybear go. Teddy though, didn't seem overly grateful as his next words sounded rather sarcastic.

"I thank you for your help out of that unsavory situation, but I can deal with the rest, thanks." he said as he strolled past the red scarf baring Mightyena, to face the territorial dunce doggie. "Well, lovely job on your part, my friend. But it's time to rap this up."

He closed his eyes and stood completely still. Before the violent Mightyena could react, the teddybear started to move in a little motion very rapidly. Teetering would be the best term to describe it. Riz couldn't help looking at his movements in awe and confusion.

Soon, everyone around Teddy had fallen victim to his Teeter Dance. As they stumbled on themselves, someone bumped into Riz and made him fall to the ground. He missed when the Spinda snapped his fingers and said: "Come on, come on, wake up."

Riz put his hands on his head and tried to lay still and snap out of it, but it was so difficult. He tried to see and spotted something yellow in front of him. Daiyu! He failed to grab her hand and suddenly saw her falling over as well. That was followed by a sudden electric shock. It didn't hurt Riz much, especially not in the state he was in at the moment, though.

Finally, the world stopped whirling around and Riz got back up. The Spinda was gone. Instead a Roselia stood there talking to Cobalt. He had apparently just introduced Riz and the others to her, and she told them her name was Amethyst and that she was looking to help Celebi as well. She wanted to find Rayquaza.

Riz couldn't help letting out a little burst of laugh. "I'm sorry," he mumbled so that someone maybe, but not the Roselia, would hear. "She's looking for Rayquaza all by herself? Haven't she heard the stories about how large and dangerous he is? And here we're going in a whole group to find Registeel. Oh, well."

Nova had apparently had enough of standing around chatting. "Waste time here if you like. I'm leaving," she said over her shoulder as she turned south.

Riz nodded, but then Cobalt started to sniff in the air. He was smelling danger. "I gotta check this out. I'll be fine, so don't worry about me. I'll see you all later," Cobalt said quietly. He wandered off after what ever he was smelling.

Amethyst ran after him, apparently thinking that a small flower pokémon could be any help.

"Cobalt!" Riz shouted after him, taking a few steps forward. But the dog was gone between the leaves, the Roselia as well. "Oh god. Running off into the Poochyena territory."

That was when they heard the Uproar. Every bird in the jungle must have taken off at that scream. That at least convinced Riz that Cobalt had been right about smelling danger.

"Neither Cobalt nor Amethyst could have done that attack... Teddy?" Riz said, half to himself and half to Daiyu, who were standing pretty close to him. "I mean, the Spinda. But he sure looks like someone who could be called Teddy."

He sighed. "If it's him getting into trouble and Cobalt saving him again... well, he wasn't very much grateful the last time, was he? If he had just shown some respect to the Mightyena borderguard before, then I could have talked calmly to them and made us go through the lands without any bloodshed. Quick action and arrogance are most often not your best tools. Know that."

Riz wasn't aware of that he was sounding pretty dominant now. He knew he was right, at least in his world. Why be humble? He looked to see that Nova hadn't gotten very far yet. These people were probably quite reliable after all.

"So... shall we go and clean this mess up? They are our teammates after all. At least Cobalt is," he said and started to run towards the Mightyena camp, hoping the girls would follow his lead.

When he got there, the first thing he spotted was Cobalt and his red scarf, battling the largest Mightyena in the middle of the pack. The Alpha. Dear boy, what had the young hyena gotten himself into now? Some ways away, Amethyst was fighting as well, another Mightyena.

Some small Poochyenas saw Riz and tried to jump and bite him. The larger Mightyenas hadn't spotted him yet. Riz growled menacingly and swung his tail around and slammed one of the small dogs. It was sent flying and landed with a thud several meters away. The other Poochyenas blinked, but one other leaped towards him. It bit his foot. Riz squeaked, he was a mouse after all, but then he stomped down hard, crushing the dog underneath his foot. The Poochyena dropped his grip and squeaked in pain as Riz let go and it stumbled away badly hurt. The other Poochyenas backed away.

"Good, now that we're clear on that... I guess nobody here is going to listen to common sense at the moment."

[OOC: If Nova and/or Daiyu didn't follow Riz, then simply ignore this next piece of text.]

"Daiyu, help Amethyst! That dog is sure to go out with a few of your well aimed and timed shocks." He was only slightly referring jokingly to the accidental shock she had fired off earlier. "Nova, come with me and help Cobalt. I don't care if he wants to try and defeat the Alpha fair and square. We're going to end this stupid battle now."

With that, he ran forth to Cobalt's side. The Mightyenas in the ring got a bit surprised seeing a Raichu butting in on the hyena Alpha fight. That must be against the rules.

"Sorry mate," Riz said quietly to Cobalt. "I don't agree with you on that this is the best way of doing things. Let's defeat him together?"

Cobalt was a little shocked when Riz just pushed through. Like the rest of the Mightyena, he stared at him.

"Sorry mate," Riz said quietly. "I don't agree with you on that this is the best way of doing things. Let's defeat him together?"

"What are you doing? If you help me, that will give the rest of them permission to jump in the fight! Do you know what would happen then? I don't want all of us to get killed! Trust me! I can win this! Look at him carefully, and tell me what you see," Cobalt said. Riz would probably only see a very large Mightyena, but Cobalt could see a lot more than that. This Alpha had very narrow paws. Those were good for running, but not good for fighting. He was two sizes larger than Cobalt, but his jaw was smaller. Not much smaller, but still. But the most important thing was that he was fat. Years of living good here in the forest had made the pack as a whole soft. The Alpha was no exception. Cobalt, on the other hand, was lean and in prime fighting shape. And he was the smaller Mightyena, but that was only because he was 11 and hadn't finished growing yet, or so he hoped. And, because his mother was a Houndoom, he had gotten a very powerful attack from her when he was born. And now was the time to use it.

"Heh, you probably thought I was bragging when I said my Fire Fang would take out Registeel, but I wasn't. I guess a little demonstration won't hurt. Stand back!" Cobalt said to Riz. He summoned up the flames that resided deep inside him. They were very strong, and soon filled his mouth. He shot a toothy grin at the Alpha, seeing him register a look of surprise. Cobalt rushed forward. The Alpha dodged him and bit down hard on his rear left leg. Cobalt yipped in pain, but he turned and sunk his flaming fangs into the Alpha's flank. Ambrose Flannigan better be with all this trouble!

Riz swore inside when Cobalt disagreed. "You'd better know what you're doing, then," he said lowly and backed off to stand close to the other Mightyenas.

"Heh, you probably thought I was bragging when I said my Fire Fang would take out Registeel, but I wasn't. I guess a little demonstration won't hurt. Stand back!" Cobalt said confidently. And then he summoned flames from somewhere. Riz blinked not once, but twice. This was surely a revelation.

The Alpha was also surprised, but managed to dodge the attack in the very last second! Riz swore loudly now. The Alpha bit Cobalt, but Cobalt bit back. Did he really know what he was doing? Stupid dog! Riz wanted to be useful and go help Amethyst instead, but at the same time he really couldn't leave Cobalt here in case it suddenly looked like the Alpha was winning. Cobalt probably knew the ways of the Mightyena so if Riz stepped in, hell would likely break loose. But it would be worse if Cobalt died, wouldn't it?

Ambrose tried getting back up to persuade the green color once more. He began to look back and forth from the black egg blob to the green blob. He began getting all upset that it'd probably not make the lovely periwinkle he wanted. He started getting all teary eyed.

He turned away from the green blob to see a large mass of black, like a cloud, behind him. There was an out of place orange blob within the mix. Ambrose was displeased. What was orange doing trying to mix with black? That'd just make it sickly looking.

"Hey!" Ambrose shouted at the orange blob, his eyes swiveling in different directions. "Get out of the painting! You shouldn't intrude on a lovely black!"

An air bubble rose up from his stomach and popped in his mouth. It wasn't a belch….

Ambrose was flown backwards at the sheer power what came out of his mouth next. The Last Uproar the most superior one of the entire three, replacing all sounds with a damaging white noise. It continued even as he lay on the ground, stretching his mouth as far as it could reach to let more out of it at a time. Even when he stopped, the effects rang on.

Ambrose was surprisingly still clutching the egg, and his eyes wide open and dilated. Drool was seeping out of his mouth, and he was faintly twitching. If anyone didn't know better, they would've thought he was dead.

All of the Mightyena, including Cobalt, whinced and covered their ears. That was very... odd. Cobalt couldn't say much more than that. He couldn't hear very well anymore. He was aware of the Alpha getting to his feet, still very disoriented. Cobalt was too, but he recovered first. He swept his tail, and knocked the Alpha to the ground. That was the danger of having small paws. You weren't very stable. Cobalt lunged and bit him in the throat, but not very hard. His leg was bleeding, and he couldn't put any weight on it. The Alpha had a rather large burn on his side, and was caught around the throat by Cobalt.
"I win! Yield! I don't want to kill you!" Cobalt said.
"I... I yield," the Alpha said when Cobalt tightened his grip. Cobalt let him up, and the Alpha joined the circle. Cobalt looked harshly at them all. They all looked down, not wanting to look directly at him. He didn't know what to do, now that he had won. He hadn't thoguht that far ahead yet. He turned to the former Alpha.

"What do they call you!" he barked out.
"Douge is my name!" Douge said.
"Douge, you've done well with the pack. But there is something I want to change. When pokemon from the village pass through here, let them. They aren't trying to take the territory. They are just passing through as my friends were," Cobalt said. This brought up whispers from the group.
"Silence! I have spoken! Defend your selves if you must, but don't go starting fights!" Cobalt roared. He wanted to limp away and lick his wounds, but this had to be done.
"Very well," Douge said.

"Now, I am Cobalt! The blue-eyed Mightyena! I must leave soon. You interupted a very important quest I've been on. But I'll be back. Douge, I'm putting you in charge while I'm gone. Remember what I've said, and you'll do well. Fighting makes people mad. And mad people will try hard to get the pack to leave. If you want to remain here, then be nice!" Cobalt said finally. The pack recognized a dismissal when they heard one. They turned and went back to what they had been doing before. He limped over to Riz.

"Well, that was close. I'm lucky that loud noise happened," he said with a doggy grin.

"Hey!" somebody suddenly shouted. Riz spun around. Teddy? The Spinda was laying on the ground, looking very disoriented.

"What happened to you?" Riz asked.

"Get out of the painting! You shouldn't intrude on a lovely black!" Teddy shouted crazily. Riz wrinkled his nose.

Then the Spinda suddenly started to shrieak. Riz covered his ears with a painful look on his face. Stupid Teddy! What good would come from an Uproar attack right now? He had probably been confused by some attack.

"I win! Yield! I don't want to kill you!" Cobalt's voice came, and Riz turned back to see that Cobalt had indeed proved to be the stronger of the two. The Uproar had helped him!

"I... I yield," the Alpha said when Cobalt tightened his grip.

"What do they call you!" he barked out.

"Douge is my name!" the previous Alpha male said lowly.

"Douge, you've done well with the pack. But there is something I want to change. When pokemon from the village pass through here, let them. They aren't trying to take the territory. They are just passing through as my friends were," Cobalt said.

Riz smiled. Wise. This brought up whispers from the group of hyenas though.

"Silence! I have spoken! Defend yourselves if you must, but don't go starting fights!" Cobalt roared.

Cobalt finally limped over to Riz, seemingly allowing himself to look weak.

"Well, that was close. I'm lucky that loud noise happened," he said with a doggy grin.

"Yeah," Riz said. "Teddy proved to be of use after all. I mean, Spinda. By the way... I must say I'm amazed. You didn't strike me as the type to get serious when you really had to. I thought you were just a playful cub on the inside. But I guess... that you shouldn't judge people before you've gotten to know them. I'll try to put more trust into you from now on."

That was as much of a "wow, that was so cool" that Riz was able to give without losing his pride. He gave the blue eyed Mightyena a weak smile.

Then he walked up to the Spinda. "Hey, Teddy," he said harshly. "You gonna lie there the whole day or you coming?" He spotted the egg Ambrose was holding. "What's that?"

"Neither Cobalt nor Amethyst could have done that attack... Teddy?" Riz said, as if talking to himself. "I mean, the Spinda. But he sure looks like someone who could be called Teddy."

Daiyu looked at him. "Yeah, I'm pretty sure it's Cuddles over there doing that uproar," she said in agreement.

Riz sighed. Know that."

Daiyu turned away slightly and lowered her ears, not because she was ashamed of the way she handled most things, but because her elders seemed to like getting on her case for it. And Riz? Riz doesn't even really know about it yet, and he's already giving advice on it! He ran off into the direction Cobalt when in. Daiyu's brows furrowed, but she stood up and followed anyway.

By the time she caught up, she just barely glimpsed Riz smashing a Poochyena with his foot. There seemed to be a lot of dogs in this area, and it was really pissing Daiyu off.

"Daiyu, help Amethyst! That dog is sure to go out with a few of your well aimed and timed shocks," Riz ordered. Daiyu was too keen on defeating the Mightyena to realize Riz's joke. Wait, but who was Amethyst? She looked around and noticed the Roselia whom she didn't know the name of. Guess that's her. Daiyu jumped onto the Mightyena's back, making it let go of Amethyst's leg. It snarled and jumped around like a stupid bull, trying to get Daiyu off.

"Shut up, you balding puppy." She breathed in and released a thundershock at full force. Suddenly, a small raindrop to her head made her notice that a storm was approaching. She quickly raised her tail, and when the next lightning flashed, the bolt was instantly drawn to her tail, transmitting the electricity from the sky, to Daiyu, and finally, to the Mightyena, frying it, to say the least. She leapt off and noticed that the others weren't fighting anymore. What happened? Daiyu walked towards the black striped Raichu and took a position right next to him, just eyeing the pack of Mightyena.

Riz suddenly walked over to the black and white Spinda. Daiyu merely turned in the direction and watched. "Hey, Teddy," he said harshly. "You gonna lie there the whole day or you coming?" He spotted the egg Ambrose was holding. "What's that?" Riz asked. Daiyu grinned and walked over. "It's my breakfast omelette," she joked, poking the egg.

Ambrose's eyes moved in the general direction of an dominant voice coming from an orange blob starting to clear up into a mouse-like figure. Still out of it, Ambrose got up and stumbled, immediately falling on the floor again. He tried again, this time with more success.

"Now look at this wise guy," He said with grog in his voice. "You must be that orange who was messin' everythin' up. You should- should be ashamed of yourself."

At that moment, he lightly dropped the egg to the ground and clutched the orange mess. He was crying now for no real logical reason.

"I'm sorry! I'm sorry! You just wanted to make a beautiful portrait!" He said as he looked up at the smudge. "I shouldn't of snapped!"

He continued to cry into the hazy orange thing.

Daiyu had successfully fought off the Mightyena from Amethyst with a very strong electric attack. Riz realized that her thundershocks probably were on par with his own. He was a lot more physically stronger than her though. He guessed it was the price he paid for evolving so soon.

"It's my breakfast omelette," the Pikachu joked, poking the egg Ambrose was holding.

"Now look at this wise guy," the Spinda said to Riz with grog in his voice. "You must be that orange who was messin' everythin' up. You should- should be ashamed of yourself."

Riz furrowed his brow. "Look who's talking."

At that moment, Ambrose lightly dropped the egg to the ground and clutched to Riz's belly before the Raichu could react. He was crying now for no real logical reason.

"I'm sorry! I'm sorry! You just wanted to make a beautiful portrait!" He said as he looked up at the smudge. "I shouldn't of snapped!"

He continued to cry into Raichu's belly as Riz scratched his head rather confusedly. "We should probably try to find a Persim berry for him," he suggested and tried to move. This lead to him dragging the Spinda along on the ground.

Cobalt limped over to where Riz and Daiyu were. Ambrose Flannigan was clinging to Riz, crying something about a portrait or painting or something like that.

"Hehehe! That's a good one!" Cobalt said with a laugh. He walked over to Amethyst and sniffed her. Her leg was hurt, but given some time, it would heal up well. He lifted her on to his back. Great. She had been hurt because of him. He hadn't wanted that.

"We should probably try to find a Persim berry for him," Riz suggested as he dragged Ambrose Flannigan away. Cobalt shook his head. He started licking the Spinda.

"Hey! Snap out of it! Everything's alright! I want to know what a portrait is!" he said. This guy seemed to know everything!
