I'm catching up with the number of posts of the user above!
The main issue being: it's multiplayer and if you're not playing with friends, you basically have 10-20% chance of having a pleasant game.
The mix of RPG and RTS doesn't exist in an offline fashion (as far as I'm aware).
I've seen a Youtube video that basically just nailed why I don't seem to be able to quit LoL: there is no other game like LoL that doesn't have the same issues...
