    Okay...at some point in the school year, you guys may or may not have had an assembly during school. They may be everything from someone coming to speak, a concert, a play, or something even stranger!

    That said, have you had any memorable school assemblies?

    Yes.One time the Military came and then it became worse when a group of people blew up stink bobos.
     
    In 3rd grade some musical guy came and was playing a song for the whole school and one of his guitar strings snapped and hit him in the face. EVERYONE started laughing.
     
    Haha, one time some buff guy said he could tear a phone book in half, he managed after 10 minutes, too bad it was super wet
     
    we have them on monday and thursday -.-;;;
     
    Haha, also, one time all the sophomores started throwing toilet paper around, it was so great XD
     
    One time for a pep assembly they had a competition to who could eat a caramel apple faster. Well they gave the two people that were representing my freshman class a caramel onion. It was so great. lol

    Some of my more memorable assemblies and concerts

    The typical:

    --The school christmas concert (during the band's portion of the show, they asked us to sing along, and I was the only person in my section on key)
    --various plays and concerts from the high school (don't remember what all they were)

    The weird:

    --a drum concert
    --a presentation about snakes (usually I'm afraid of them, but I was pretty far back in the auditorium, so I was fine)
    --This guy who had a crazy show about science
     
    U guys are lucky w/ all those funny assemblys.... we just have a crappy thing at the beging of the week and a play at the end. Hopefully they'll get better in aussie high skools :P
     
    I have one fond memory of a school assembly. Last year, there was a heavy African American man that came into our school discussing drugs with us. This wasn't any ordinary drug assembly, though- he rapped about drugs. This made it awesome, the whole school was rapping with him. It rockeddd.
     
    You guys have assemblies every week?

    We only have them during football season, and only for the football team. It's Texas XD. Too bad our football team sucks
     
    We have pep rallys during the football season, about two a year. They're torture. -.-
     
    Are pep rallys like the ones on tv? :P
     
    Stupid assemblies having them every week. If its not a class doing an assembly, its something about how we shouldn't drink, or we shouldn't smoke cannabis or anything. Nothing fun in any assemblies where I'm from. Concerts and staff happen, but that's normally at lunch time and stuff ^_^
     
    Every once in a while we have plays, hey, anything to get out of school!
     
    I have an assembly twice a week, one with the year 11's and six formers and then another with just the year 11's. My school is very religiouse, and I find thats it's stupid that Atheists have to go to them. They read from the bible every assembly and pray, I hate it, I allways ask my teacher if I have to go and the answer is allways yes.
     
    :P We did that is my english skool, it was lol, i hated it.
