School Chit-Chat

$40? O_O Mine costed upwards of $150...and some people at my school paid over $500 for theirs. Either your ring dealer is melting down pop cans to make their rings or they're honest dealers. Everyone knows that the rings we buy at school are a ripoff, but for some reason we go ahead and buy them anyway. We were shown a propaganda video of sorts at the beginning of the year by our ring dealers that tried to convince all the kids that any other brand of ring was inferior and not an official class ring...to paraphrase from the video, "Some companies will give you a cougar as your mascot even if your mascot is a puma, jaguar, or bobcat. Do you want to buy your ring from such a company?" My ring was bought from the local department store, and it looks just as good as anyone else's...and it was only a third of the price, too.

...and our mascot isn't a cougar, btw...our school doesn't have a mascot -.-
 
My basketball team is doing pretty well also 18W-4L.
I just love basketball, it was the first sport that attracted me.
 
Well, my main sport is going to be soccer in high school, but currently, I'm playing tennis.Me and my partner are top ranked in my school, we do very well in matches, so our coach takes us to every match

I got my school picture today.. and it was horrible. It is the worst picture that I have had in my life!! :dead:
 
Ugh...more debating in english today, and the whole class, as usual, is against me. There's no end in sight...the teacher even let one kid in the class rattle on about a bunch of perverted stuff which I won't (and wouldn't) mention...the class is insane, and I don't use that word lightly.

So beside that, here's today's good news/bad news:

Good News: I racked up lots of bonus points in various classes today by doing extra work.

Bad News: It won't be enough to give me a 4.0...I'm going to end up with a 3.99 or something...
 
The rings at my school were $90+ They looked ugly in my opinion, though. I don't think many people bought them. XP

First day back after March Break for me, anyway. I got about 1 hour of sleep in total last night because I was up until 11 tying up a project for school. I got up at 5:45 to print of a few other things. (I couldn't sleep well o.o) Blah... turns out the stupid thing isn't due until Thursday. ~_~;; At least I have more time to figure out if there were any individual sculptors remembered for their works in the Yamato period of Japan. Anyone know? XD
 
One of the history teachers at my school has taken over for the 10th and 12th grade vice principal while she is away for awhile. Our caf? is a real mess after each lunch so he got volunteers to clean up at the end of the lunch periods. And he is now using a "reward" system... sorta. He decided to play music for the last 5 minutes of lunch to get us to clean up. I don't know if it's just me or not but music will not make me clean up better after lunch. I throw my stuff away normally though. We couldn't hear the music anyway... whatever it was I didn't really enjoy it. I think it's a stupid way to get people to clean up their messes though...
 
Hmm, nothing much happened to me today. I just got a splinter on my left index finger while wacking me friend with a bamboo stick. It's soooo itchy. >.<

Dude if your school does Lacrosse you should do it... Its like every sport in one lol *Soccer- Running, Goals, Baseball - You get to hit people with sticks, Basketball - Throw the Ball through the air, Tennis - Use the Lacrosse Net thing Racket to Hit or Catch the Ball, Volleyball... well theres nothing that has to do with volleyball... or swimming lol*


Hehe When I walk around the core between B period and C - 10:36 - 10:45 its like a huge party/market/Social 11 minutes lol.. you can buy food Cds and talk to people and play music and whatever for 11 minutes... So freekin.. Open to the Exclusives though.
 
On the Calfs.. and my back hurt the first day of Fall Lacrosse.... Our Uniforms were cool though, lol Long Sleeve Shirts with Collars lined with red and Shorts with a White Lining... ... Then it snowed.. :) I love Lacrosse.. I'm so proud of my friend Rita..She's doing spring Lacrosse.

Throw ball into the air? o.o Your suppose to aim also. :P I only throw ball through the air really high when I'm taking high arc shots the others I try shoting it in a normal angle.
 
School wasn't so bad today, the only class I was bored in was Tech, too bad because it used to be fun, but now it's boring. ._. I was glad when my science class came, we had an experiment where we had to identify the chemicals and stuff like that. The thing I like about science is that it passes so quickly, and the better part is that it's last period =D
 
We don't have lacrosse at our school. If we did I'd probably play it. We played it in 8th grade gym and it was fun. I was actually pretty good at it. But this one girl is pretty violent and whacked people with the sticks... I don't like her much...

as in Tech Ed?? I hated Tech Ed... I had Chemistry today I love that class lol. hmm what was so fun about my day... Oh yah We had the Core party today lol.... So fun and we never get caught :)

Me too, I have science last period but the bad thing is that it is soooo slow.
Probaly it's because I have a whack science teacher and it's so boring when my teacher teach's it.

Funny, I was also working late on a project also last night, and this was also my first day back from March Break. Must be cause we live in Caanda xP I am such a procrastinator at times u_U
 
I dont have March Break.... I have Spring Break which is in April but I am Pretty happy since my little cousin is turning one this weekend so I'm going to Sassaquin and im not goin to school on monday ;)
