Scizor with Technician

I have a Scizor with Technician but I evolved it a few days ago when I traded with a friend. What I'm having an issue with is the when I caught the Scyther… it had a Normal Terra.

How can I get its Tera to change from normal to Steel? I see Shards are the best way but sadly I need 48 more to go to change it.

Strange to ask but are we able to trade Shards with people are buy them somewhere?

You can get some from the item printer in the second DLC I believe, or do Steel raid fights for them as well. I don't think you can buy them anywhere, but you can trade people Pokemon that are holding... 1... at a time... for close to 50... Yeah, so that will take forever, but it's still possible lol.

They have made it difficult to collect them lol. Crazy

Honestly if you have the DLC and you beat the main game, Tera fights are pretty quick you can finish at least 5 of them and get the required Tera shards. Of course the item printer exists aswell.

Time reset for Steel tera dens is the fastest way. If you have the Glimmering Charm (Teal Mask DLC) and make Raid sandwiches, you can get a lot of shards.
