use a silverish, metalized gradient.. match the header somewhat. dunno.. not liking the brown/tanish color too much.
 
I like the tan. Like I was saying last nght, we have too many blue themes. Tone down the use of blue in your banner and I think it'll fit in. Once you fix up the icons and everything, I think it'll look better.

And I think I figured out why I don't like Giratina coming out of the banner. :D It's because it protrudes from BEHIND the banner so the border just seems so weird-looking and unnecessary. Try overlapping it OVER the banner; I might finally stop whining about it. Maybe. XD

And we don't have any silver themes either. We have tan though. A couple, actually. ;;
 
The lighter tan isn't as bad as the brownish-goldish color. That one looks like...someone took a dump on the theme or something.

I think the tan being lighter is the problem; it just does not fit with the "reverse, torn world" plot we already know of from Platinum.
 
I'm going to have to agree, I'm not very fond of the tan either. It just stands out a little too much when put in contrast the the lighter colors.
 
The blue looks much better than the tan did. And you may be right about too many blue themes however, it works with this one. You've done an excellent job with this one so far!
 
All right, I'm not going to lie. I don't know what a gradient bar is. XD;
However, I'm pretty sure they're the bars at the top that contain the pay pal button, last visit, ect. If that's the case, then they look really good, but I think they would look even better against a slightly darker background.

I'll be honest with you this color works much better than the bronze. The gradient bars are great! and the slight pattern of metal in the BG of the posts is also much more Platinum-like. I wish you luck on the buttons and footer!
Keep the bronze around for use in another theme, It was really good, it just didn't quite fit this theme
 
Oh this looks good… goes well with the new firefox…the buttons are a bit meh though.
