It's been only seven days into summer break, (at least for me), and I am extremely bored. Is anyone else?

You'll miss those days very soon.

I'm on week 3 of my break and I'm definitely bored. I'm trying to make the most of my free time knowing that I won't have many summer breaks once I graduate, but at this point, I really really want a job. I've applied to eight places and I got turned down from a volunteer position :/

But, in the meantime, I've been trying to keep myself busy by chipping away at personal projects and working on merchandise for a convention I have in ~3 weeks. Without money I can't do much beyond that, and a lot of my friends have been on vacation so I haven't been able to see them. The sad thing is I've even gotten bored of playing Pokémon :(

Summer break hasn't even started for me yet, and I'm already bored. I don't enjoy summer at all, because there is just nothing to do here, it's too hot, and I don't have any friends or anything. Besides, I just want to go to high school already. :|
It doesn't help that we aren't going anywhere this summer, either. Maybe I should see about staying with my aunt for a while.

On the bright side, I'll have plenty of time for drawing, and I'll be able to start reading A Brief History of Time like I've wanted to do for a while.

It's been summer semester for a month here, but I'm busy as hell. I'm taking a summer course in C and doing a bunch of other stuff as well.

I get out of school on the 18 D:<
Lucky some on you guys are off school already :/

Cross Country and my friends will keep my occupied during the summer :>

Cross Country practices don't allow me to be bored. ;P Neither do my friends or the internet.

Well, considering I've got work 20 hours a week, and am taking a 16 week class in the span of 8 weeks this summer, I'd say I'm going to be too busy to be bored. My semester break did only end yesterday, though, so I had time to recharge in the 3 weeks prior, albeit not very much.

Also, if you're extremely bored, why not be entrepreneurial and start offering to mow people's lawns for them for money?

Haha, I graduated last year. I am in eternal summer, baby!

I've been extremely bored for about...three semesters of missed college classes now...I can't afford classes because the best jobs I can find are part-time and barely covers rent. D:

Word of advice to you young'uns. Earn as many scholarships and grants as you can. It'll help a lot, especially if you're like me and become an unfortunate victim of circumstance. XD

The day I finished all of my exams for life, I was exalted. YESSS, TIME OFF! But er. I'm sooo bored. Every day is just apply for jobs, mail off CV, get rejection letters, play some PSP, watch a film, bed. It's so dull. :U

You'll miss those days very soon.

This. Because soon, you'll find yourself wantig to be bored when school re opens. That's my mindset, so even though I'm extremely bored, nothing to do, I won't admit that I'm bored. Even though where am I has got to be the most Boring place on earth!

Neither do my friends or the internet.

Agreed. I'm sitting here with the internet, video games, and technology at the brim of my fingertips all summer. I couldn't be LESS bored.

...I should save up for some new video games just incase I get bored of the old ones.

Also, I'm not on summer vacation yet. About a week and a half left or so.

Yeah, you'll miss those days when you sat at home bored later on so make the most of it now. :P

    I really miss having summers off and not having to worry about making money. ;_; Though I did know back then that I'd miss it so I made sure to do whatever personal, frivolous things I wanted. Like randomly making a website one week, marathoning a game to complete another, finding a new forum to post in, etc. Sure can't do that anymore. XD;

Ughh wtf am I the only one getting out of school only in July? Damn you all. >.>
Canadian mandatory education (typically) runs up till the end of June. So you're probably not the only one. :( It's just the US that gets out this early.
