    Had to remake this RP!! Being as it was going well for quite awhile, but due to certain aspects within I figured it best to restart entirely.

    Region of Orre​

    History

    Set in the year of 2633, the Region of Orre has slowly became a place of darkness and secreats. Having been taken over by Ghetsis nearly 500 years previous, the deranged man held a PokeVillian conference for any of the disbanded syndicates, who still had passionate believers to assemble. This threw the Region into more turmoil than it could have possibly been ready for. There was no single hero to save the day this time.

    Ghetsis had put in motion a plan that would span generations, he succeeded. With the number of twisted scientists at the now corrupt Pokemon HQ having been working tirelessly for the past half millennia to perfect the art of creating Shadow Pokemon, by artificially closing the door to a Pokemon's heart. These Shadow Pokemon have secretly been released into the wild, while also given away to trainers who competed in the many Colosseum Tournaments. Making the Region unforgivable to visitors, the dangers of vicious human attacking Pokemon was far too much for average trainers to even be granted access into the Orre Region.

    Yet even with the knowledge of "True Wild Pokemon," over-running the land, the rough-neck natives of the Region remained strong throughout the years. Many people still lived the harsh lives that the Orre Region had to offer with pride. As well as many of the attractions the Continent had to offer also remained operational. Mt. Battle, the Battle Tower, and of course the wide spread Colosseum Matches still continued regularly.

    Plot

    You, either native to the Orre Region or somebody "lucky" enough to have been given special access to the land. Your reasons for visiting the land can range drastically. From being a high ranked trainer with aspirations to participate in the Regional Championship by defeating the Colosseum Matches, to a Pokemon Scientist curious about the "True Wild Pokemon" of the Region. You may be a Pokemon Villain who wants to make a name for yourself in the highest crime rate Region in the world, or just a native to the land trying to make your way through life.

    Not too harsh just follow the rules of the site and we should be fine. Also if you'd join with the intent to stay, that would be great.

    Personality: Kumori feigns being a quiet, timid, foreign girl to cover her true persona as a street thief working for Team Rocket. Her overall personality fits well with those of the Pokemon that she raises; sneaky, tricky, evil, and secretive. Usually nothing more than Pokemon Trainer or common crook. She holds a dark malicious side that can be played out to the wrong people.

    History/Misc. Information: Originating from the Kalos Region, Kumori moved out to be on her own at the age of 16. A trouble maker her entire life it didn't take long after her acceptance into the Orre Region for her to be noticed by one of the most famous Crime Syndicates, the notorious Team Rocket. Though she had been offered promotions numerous times, she prefers to remain a mere Grunt within the ranks. However she is given the privilege to go about her own way so long as she keeps her loyalties true.

    Kumori is short only 5' even, but her gravity defying silver colored reverse ponytail brings her up to 5' 5". Aside from her rather large emerald eyes the rest of her facial features are very tiny. She has pink braces so her wide smile is rarely seen. Having prominently pointed elf like ears, she sports a primarily black cap with a pale pink brim, accented by a Dark Type Emblem Button. On both top and bottom she is clad in more black, her shirt is a short sleeved mid-drift exposing hoodie. She wears tight fitting black shorts and a useless black belt. Kumori also sports more black with her pink accented bag, yet on the back of which she hides the Rocket 'R' Emblem. For footwear she has, you guessed it more pale pink, black soled sneakers.

    Name: Seth Zypher

    Age: 23
    Gender: Male
    Occupation: Snagger

    Personality: An extremely rude and perhaps even labeled as evil individual, Seth is remarkably self-centered. Close-minded he definitely isn't one to care about others in the slightest. Brutal in combat he won't hesitate to critically injure his opponents to the point of near death and beyond. He is quite reserved, and rarely seen outside of competitions, even though he is known throughout the Region. Given his terrible reputation many tend to stay a distance from him, and holds the record for most wins by default.

    History/Misc. Information: Born in Pyrite Town, Seth raised himself on the rough streets. His parents abandoned him at the age of 8 to move to an unknown location, believed to be a separate continent, in order to get away from the harshness of Orre. Why they didn't take Seth with them is a mystery, and was eventually dropped from Seth's mind. Accompanied by his Charmeleon throughout his childhood Seth became quite the skilled trainer. He was born with the unique ability to see True Wild Pokemon (Shadow Pokemon) for what they are, by detecting their black aura. Because of this "power" he took a special interest in the vicious Pokemon, and eventually even learned how to communicate with them on a telepathic level.

    Seth is also a remarkable mechanic ranging drastically between computer and actual mechanical equipment. He is always seen with two of his primary inventions. One of which his right boot, which has been altered to be able to take the shape of a hover-bike. Along with further modifications Seth altered it, to be among the fastest vehicle in the Region. His over-sized goggles are actually a bi-product of his personal wire-less PC system. They can also be used to display maps and other useful information, however when over his eyes he can't detect Shadow Pokemon due to some type of electronic interference.

    Seth has stunningly white spiky hair that will reflect any direct light that passes through giving it a multi-colored shimmer. His eyes are very difficult to explain, they're such a dark green that they almost appear black, yet somehow simultaneously seem to almost glow a florescent lime. He has orange, broken triangular markings on both his cheeks and almost always seems to sport a devious smile. Lifting his bangs, Seth wears his custom over-sized bright green black lensed goggles at all times. Never wearing a shirt he is covered across the chest primarily by the Snag Machine that spirals down his left arm to his hand. On bottom he is attired by baggy black shorts held up by a number of thin belts, though only one serves a purpous. Off to the side he also sports a small brown pouch that holds his items. His boots are also usually large, mainly due to the fact that his right one has been altered to become a Hover-Bike.

    Ah it's up. I didn't even see it because it was buried under older threads. I will have my new SU's up soon. I want to check to make sure I like everything.

    Name: Dalex Brooks
    Age: 20
    Gender: Male
    Occupation: Kalos Pokemon League Winner, Paleontologist, Duke of Kalos

    Personality: Dalex is very nice and usually stays pretty happy. He is easy to get along with. He ignores arrogance and rarely lets anything bother him. However, when he finally gets mad, people know when to listen, at least his family and friends do. He lets people speak their mind and in favor speaks his, but stays calm. He tries not to take sides and avoids confrontation when possible. He only sides with people that he strongly agrees with. He moves with deadly silence, because he is able to walk without being heard.

    History/Misc. Information: Dalex is from Dendemille Town in the Kalos Region where he grew up in cool temperatures. After traveling around the Kalos Region, defeating Gyms and exploring possible ruins, he entered the Pokemon League and tied with Kaitlyn. He was going to challenge the Elite 4, but after deciding to train in the mostly desert region of Orre after an invite to the region, he declined the challenge, but promised to return. Dalex journeyed to Hoenn before he went to Orre. Dalex also fell in love with fossils after he traveled to Ambrette Town and explored the caves near the town. He also became a fan of archaeology when he went on a trip with his parents to Hoenn and explored the ruins there. Dalex was once part of Team Flare, but quit for no known reason. Possibly because his rival/friend, Kaitlyn, did not like him in it. As they journeyed together, they battled many times. Only a few times did Kaitlyn ever win and most of the time it was because Dalex let her. Before he became a pokemon trainer, he practiced with swords along with Kaitlyn. He keeps a sword with him at all times.

    Name: Kaitlyn Bell
    Age: 20

    Occupation: Kalos League Winner, Paleontologist. Top 32 of the Kanto League

    Personality: Kaitlyn is sweet, but is shy to new people. She can also be hot headed and tried to keep from blowing up on people. Although she lets people speak what they want, she will readyly disagree and sometimes event get upset. She can also be intimidating if you don't know her. The only person she is truthful with is her friend/rival, Dalex.

    History/Misc. Information: Kaitlyn traveled with Dalex in the Kalos Region where they constantly battled to see who was best. They started their journey together with one another after getting their starter pokemon. Kaitlyn never wanted for Dalex to go easy on her because she was a girl and friend. She has only beat Dalex a few times, but when it meant the most, she was tied in the Kalos League. She wanted to challenge the Elite 4, so she challenged the first member, but was defeated by one pokemon. She never could figure out why she couldn't win. No one has told her. They always said you must learn on your own. After their battle in the Kalos League with Dalex and Dalex became a Duke for defeating so many trainers, she left for Kanto and Johto on her own were she finished in the top 32 of the Kanto League. Soon she was invited to Orre after beating a enemy organization alone. However, it may have been for other reasons that she was oblivious to. She did not know Dalex had also been invited. Before she became a pokemon trainer, she practiced with swords along with Dalex. She keeps a sword with her at all times.

    For the most part, this is finished. I may add more info later on, but as I said, it is mainly done. I know Kirito's appearance is very common now, but it is the best thing. And the two being good with swords was in no way copied from SAO. I had the idea from the last Orre RP, but never used it.

    Iceman: Sweet, I wasn't gunna judge on Dalex having Kirito's appearance, I actually like it. SAO became one of my top three anime after watching it, so it's all good. Nice alteration to your SU, and your in! (Obviously)

    Personality: Maya is a boisterous and very dramatic character, and when she wants something she will scream and shout untill she gets it. She is very spoiled by people who don't even know her this way. She always wonders alone yet never really cares. She likes being alone, but sometimes company doesn't kill her. She loves things girls her age usually don't such as snakes and frogs, and isn't afraid to express her opinions on these things. She especially like fossils, and digging and burying things. She often walks around with filth all over her face and doesn't even care. She loves nature, and everything to do with it, and loves splashing in puddles. She doesn't like birds, and she will often kill a bird with her own bare hands for fun.

    History/Misc. Information: Maya doesn't even know her own history very much. She was born a normal child in a chapel in Johto, and grew up with her brother and parents. She wasn't around very often because she would run away to her friends, and when she discovered her mother had died, she decided the stay with her best friend. However, one faitful day, a magestic bird flew over and landed in a field far away from her, and she followed it to whereit landed. There she saw her own father and brother, who had completely forgotten about her, with the legendary bird of fire. She was so upset, she started to wail and cry like never before. An old couple found her dead body the next day...

    She awoke in a strange land, orre, and saw her brother, a long way away, talking to someone. What was he doing? She fainted once more before being awoken 30 years later...

    A small shrine was what first met her eyes upon opening them, an ugly dirty old thing, and beside it was a very old man. "Hark, young child," he spoke, "you are lost and don't know the way. Your relatives are lost and don't understand your demise. Go now, and live your life freely in this forsaken land of orre." With that the man handed down a pokéball...

    Haha. It should be interesting having a 8 year old character in this RP. Very nice pokemon choice for her as well.


    I have changed some occupations for both and added a little more info.
    Dalex is a Duke in Kalos instead of a breeder (That was a mistype anyways)
    Kaitlyn is a contender in the Kanto League, but only finished in the top 32 instead of a breeder.

    I'll still be using Maya (Aldaine ;P), though she's a tad bit older. A slight revamp to her SU, but overall, the same. Kinda rushed when doing this a bit, so I copy/past'd some stuff from the old SU. But hush, don't tell anyone.

    Dalex will be my main character for most part. I will not be using Kaitlyn much. At times she may disappear for a while then pop back up when needed. However, I will introduce both of them like main characters. I had to make some back ground for Kaitlyn so everything will make sense.

    I have also changed the age to 20 for both characters.

    Personality | Brian is the warm smile shown to your closest of companions. He is the tornado that shreds entire towns to ribbons. He's the laugh spewing uncontrollably from your gut after a joke. He is the ghost in the corner of your eye that you perceived as an illusion. In truth, Brian is all of these things and more. The single most accurate word to describe him would have to be 'erratic'.

    He's as mixed of a package as they come, and also a package whose contents will never be known. To the rest of the world there is only his exterior; an exterior formed by a slick coat of wit, cemented firmly in place by a cheery smile and always a kind word or easy joke. However, such apparent affability is only that. Apparent. As quickly as a lightning bolt darts from one cloud to another is Brian's whole demeanor able to shift. His normally casual and easygoing nature can shift across the plane to a nature that can only be found in a cold, callous and murderous monster.

    The enigmatic Brian often doesn't stay around in anyone's life long enough for them to put together his 100,000 piece puzzle of a self. In fact, there are only two things that are ever really said about him. The first: He's almost unnervingly easy to confide in and get along with. The second: there's always something peeking out from behind his eyes. Be it some unknown truth, nugget of wisdom, dark secret, or what have you, it always seems like Brian is hiding something very important.

    He is.

    History/Misc. Information | A funny thing about Brian Parrish? There are almost 0 records of his existence. Anywhere. Apart from his recorded birth in Lavender Town 22 years ago, Brian is a ghost on paper. He might as well just be a ghost; personal memories of him are few and far between as well. His immediate family is deceased, extended family unknown, "friends" with little more to say than "he was a good guy" or "I wish I remembered his face", and enemies...well, lets just say that the world will never know if he even HAS or HAD any to begin with.

    It's no 'funny coincidence' that so little is known about Brian. He masterminded the whole plan to keep things that way. For in actuality, Brian has more history in his short life than there are stars in the sky. He was a Rocket child, born to a family that had numerous dealings and interactions with the infamous Team Rocket. Memories of the thugs with giant R on their chests, or the definitively more terrifying characters staying at his house for days on end, still haunt him at night. However, it wasn't until one morning that Brian became the enigmatic 'whisper in the wind' that he is today. On that fateful morning, a barely 10 year old Brian woke up to his parents laying lifeless in their beds, faces twisted horror at what must have been a brutal last few moments of life. Clutched inside his father's hand was a disc; a disc that would warp his whole existence even further. That disc contained a video log of every Team Rocket dealing, from how Giovanni liked his coffee to regional takeover plans. The disc contained every sliver of information about several horrible experiments, Mewtwo's being only the tip of the ice burg. There were people he'd never seen, regions he'd never heard of, and most importantly, everything on there was information he was NOT meant to be privy to. The dogs were not long behind. Obvious Rocket grunts, strangers in blue and red outfits, wackos screaming 'PLASMA!!', and nondescript shady characters all started sniffing around, desperately searching for him. Or rather, searching for a disc that Brian had smashed to bits.

    From that day forward, Brian has spent the whole rest of his life on the run from shadows in the dark. Professors, Gym Leaders, Pokemon Center nurses, regular trainers, and even a Champion or 2 have helped him along his way, whether they knew it or not. He never let on why he was running, who was after him or why, but still the help came.

    How Brian ended up in Orre and why he's there...well, those are two more secrets he'll be taking with him to the grave.

    Additional Information | Brian has interpreted 'Pokemon are partners, not tools' in the most literal sense. As a result, he learned how to disable the 'locking' mechanism on Pokeballs (A skill that has turned out to be useful in more facets than one). All but one of his Pokeballs function as per usual, only Brian doesn't have to release a Pokemon for it to be able to come out. His Pokemon are free to come and go as they please, however they will always differ to Brian's wishes when the situation calls for it. That last Pokeball? It functions normally. The Pokemon inside can only come out if it's released.

    The literal interpretation often applies to his battling, and every day life as well. Brian and his Pokemon have been through hell and back together, and have established an almost unnatural bond because of it. A good percent of the time, Brian will leave the actual battling solely to his Pokemon, and be there in the role of a pseudo-spotter/tactician. He puts full trust in his Pokemon that they know what they can handle, and how to effectively attack an opponent. Meanwhile, Brian would have his full attention on the opposing trainer and the intricacies of the battle. He'd study strategies, potential environmental traps that his Pokemon might be lured into, and other indirect dangers so his Pokemon could fully concentrate on the Pokemon it was facing. That's not to say he doesn't control his Pokemon ever. If he sees a split second opportunity, he will not hesitate to order his Pokemon to do something specific, and due to their synergy, the Pokemon wouldn't miss a beat.

    @ACID: Thanks for the interest. Brian seems pretty secretive to say the least..maybe a little Bipolar, too? If you've got solid plans for him to take part in the RP (Noticed your low Post Count) Your in. Just get that Appearance section filled-out to make it official.

    @Crimson: Up to you if you're bringing the Dimensional Warping Demon-Hunter back..Be sure to put his SU up before the RP begins, if you so plan to do so.
     
    Thanks man! I am super new here, but not new to the roleplaying world. I haven't tried a roleplay in a good year or two though so I'm hoping to shake off the rust. Sorry in advance for anything subpar or nonsensical. And yep, that's a good estimation of the character. I don't even know how he'll react to anything. Plan on taking it in stride. Don't worry though, he's not so bipolar and insane that if someone sneezes they'll get a blaze kick to the face instead of 'bless you', hahah.

    Quick question. Are we going by game standards, or anime/manga standards for our Pokemon? Scizor in anime was really fast. Game Scizor? Ehhhh...not so much.
     
    @ACID: Well then Welcome to the PC! I've been out of RPing for awhile, as well, before joining up here. My Initial Reason for doing so was to get back into it, and here's a real good site to do so.

    Also to answer your question, it's more Anime/Manga Based in terms of Battle, gives more freedom to the Pokemon. Example; your Pokemon are able to duck, jump, roll, dig, fly, ect to avoid being hit. Grapple, bind, bite, pin, ect as means of attacking without an actual move; however if you use a move such as Crunch or Slash, that particular strike will be more powerful...Needless to say just don't go over-board in doing so.
