4th Gen Shaymin's Ice Form, REVEALED?!

The red "object" on its back could be anything from a red scarf, to flowers, to wings, to.. well.. anything, really. If it is a new Shaymin form, though, I'm just hoping its more acquirable than its original counterpart.. D: ..but it being with the Protagonist's Pokemon from the Anime throws me, as to what it is.

But time is the best medicine for curiosity; we'll just have to wait to see if there are any more developments in the coming weeks up to Pokemon's 11th Movie release. I'm guessing its out sometime soon?

LOl ...looks so strange. I'm probably guessing Gen V poke. ;) No way it has a shaymin touch to it. I could be wrong, if it is shaymin, I'll say it has ice typing. =]

That's one thing I think I mentioned in a previous post of mine, in here; there is evidence to say it could be one of two things; a Shaymin Form, or a Generation V Pokemon.

Someone else came in saying that Munchlax was shown in a movie a short while before the third instalment of the Third Generation games was released; being Emerald. However, Munchlax had also made an appearance in Pokemon XD, along with Bonsly. Can't remember the release date for that, though..

Possible, if it is the new pokemon. Since that would mean Brock gets *the rumored* Swinub. And I would find that making more sense.

You're right, there is a pattern. Munchlax was first shown in Destiny Deoxys, which was aired in Japan on July 14 2004. Later, Emerald was released in Japan on Sept. 16. 2004. So even before the 3rd installment to R/S had been released yet, a new pokemon was shown before the D/P release.

Gale of Darkness was released on Aug. 4 2005 in Japan. About 1 year and 1 month after Destiny Deoxys first aired in Japan. Meaning Munchlax had an anime release first, followed by an a Video game release.

So if the pattern follows and this is a new pokemon, then it should appear in the anime first, then perhaps some video games following it.

I was thinking more along the lines of another Pokemon RPG game. Like how in Gale of Darkness, the only thing Munchlax could do was eat. But it gave you the opportunity to try out Bonsly, its only attack being Rock Slide. So another RPG, like Gale of Darkness, could give us the chance to see this new pokemon.

But we still have to remember that this could still be either the new Shaymin or a new Pokemon. So this is all speculation for the moment.

That would be something to see when the movie comes out. But that is an arguable case, Deoxys keeps the same body structure when it changes forms. Giratina's change is a bit odd. And we still have to wait for Regigigas.

When you see the formes side by side, you do notice a similarity. Mainly between color schemes.

Does anyone think that there is a similarity in the shaymin change?

Yeah, I can see a resemblance. It seems to have been stretched much farther than the others, but it works for me.

I think it's the Sky Form rather than an Ice Form... mostly because I'd already heard about the Sky Form, and a legendary having three forms seems a bit far-fetched.

One thing I would like to point out about a KEY difference between the cup picture and the new picture of shaymin's possible forme is how it is standing. The cup picture shows a portrait(side) view, while the new picture shows a front view. This, for me anyways, already discredits the legitimacy of the new picture. I would like to bring up the point that because the cup picture has a portrait view, the red "wing" could have a second one, just hidden behind the first one. And if you look closely, you see that the red "wing" has two lobes, or two "wings."

That being said, I still do not believe it is a Shaymin forme. Shaymin's normal forme is mostly green, with a white underbelly,a pink flower, and two dark green leaves. But this one is mostly white, with a green tuff of hair on top and some green on the bottom of the legs. It also has red "wings (although I am not convinced that they are in fact wings, but that is what they have been referenced too thus far.)" and is lacking the pink flower and 2 dark green leaves. Also the white ears come out from NO where, as Shaymin has no ears. Again, the portrait picture seems to have no green on its back, unlike the normal Shaymin forme.

Because of this, I am confident that this is a 5th generaton pokemon, and one from a new line. Because the only pokemon to match that color scheme is the Natu line (who BTW has a reversed color patter [white wings, green body, and red feathers on the head]), and the ralts line (who already has a split evolution). Henceforth, It must be a new pokemon line, IMO.

EDIT: Froslass does actually seem to fit the color scheme but I have yet to hear of a split evolution pokemon evolve. Abomasnow does seem to also resemble the colors, but I personally find it unlikely...and all of the evolution lines do not have 4 legs, casting a huge shade of doubt on all of these...

ummm... the post right above urs shows a legendary with four formes (deoxys) so three wouldnt be that Farfetch'd (XD) i also see some resemblance, but i hope it isnt it.
as for it being a Generation V pokemon, would it still be popular? people have mixed opinions about another generation (i'd buy it) how many pokemon would be included in Generation V? 600? more? plus, wouldnt nintendo be thinking too far into the future? i mean, the third installment of Generation IV isnt even close to being released in Japan yet, so why would a Fifth generation be in the works already?

On pokejungle he says first of all the new sky form was fake and when he saw the cup he says it might be the sky form and it is also reported was the possibility of a Shaymin Ground Forme, but that will remain in the RUMOR DEPT for now. But i dont think it is the ice form, i think it is a new sky form

LOL. I'm not sure but what ever it is it might me a new pokemon or a meesed up already created pokemon. We need someone who can read japaneese to go onto the site and read it. Im learning japaneese next year unless we wait another year until i can read it lol
