And yes, Noctowl was suppose to be my first one before Hawlucha, but I ended up getting Foongus instead. I might try to get Caterpie again, but that bug is making me mad. Lol jk. I might just find a random number or name generator and put the names in there of what might be next.

I have some rare ball caterpie I was thinking of breeding for the challenge....Then I got my hands on some rare ball johto starters. So now I'm mm-ing for a shiny cyndaquil in a timer ball.

edit: 2000th post was talking about shinies in the best club on PC! WOOT!

Yeah that is one of the main reasons I have been trying to get it. I but my Butterfree in at Lv 12, I think and it is now Lv 50 from just being in daycare. It raised my ditto like 5 levels and it is now level 100 and still haven't gotten the golden bug lol.

Sorry but I'm gonna have to say no thanks D: I don't really trade for shinies aha.
Also, the Shaymin will be staying in fourth gen, which I don't think you can clone on? So sorry about that one ^^;

I was glad when my ditto got to lvl 100 so I wouldn't pay so much everytime I took it out, lol.

I just want to say 2 really cool things really quick. Firstly, I got a shiny skiddo through pokechain. Only a couple more radaring after hitting the 40 mark. And today I got a shiny skiddo at a chain of 19. I have 2 videos that will be below.

Congratulatios DatShinyKid16 for getting those Shiny Skiddos. Chain hunting is really difficult in my opinion.

Well James901, I'm on a mission myself, I'm back in game and trying to hatch Shiny Eevee again, this time with Anticipation and Egg Moves (Wish, Stored Power, Curse, Fake Tears) and for two days without success. I'm probably around 20 box (I'm not sure because I release them immediately, since I don't like to empty 30 boxes later)

:O And I thought I was the only one too! WOOO now I don't feel ashamed. If you mastered this well enough, this takes much faster than collecting 30 boxes and then releasing all of them.

Oh yea, or at least if feels like it takes less time. I was thinking it is all just relative, but in all honesty you are taking away a step of depositing pokemon to later release instead of just releasing them. It may only save a few seconds but hey that could mean everything;)

Plus with my complete living shiny dex and and complete variants collection, plus freebies for my shop, I just don't have the box space to keep all those eggs, XD.

Wow, this must be really huge. I mean you spent a lot of time for getting it for sure.

Yes sir! I maxed out the time clock on white, and most of that was devoted to trading. I've come near to maxing out my Y as well, with most of that in trading or masuda breeding. I didn't hunt in games for shinies myself until it was easier this gen.
Now I'm just working in replacing all of those non kalos-born shinies with kalos born versions. It's a daunting task that has taken away a lot of my life, but I'm obsessed with shiny pokemon . XD
Complete collections of shiny vivillon and unown were my crowning achievement that i was most excited about.

My very first shiny was given to me by a friend IRL in gen 4, at that point in time I wasn't too concerned with them. Then when gen 5 came out, I discovered the online world of pokemon and seen just how valuable shiny pokemon were. When I traded that first shiny for a full battle team, ev trained and rng'd to have near flawless iv's, I knew right then that shiny pokemon were the true currency of the pokemon world and started working on my collection at the moment. Then I discovered cloning and everything became a lot easier,XD. The rest is the history of Pokecommunity's first ever trading champion;)
 
Have you ever had a moment where you believed the shiny charm was a big pile of horse malarkey? I am right now. I'm at over 2000 eggs looking for hawlucha and nothing. This is more than my former longest hunt (Anyone remember Watermelon the Noibat?) and that one was WITHOUT the charm. I need all the luck I can get.
