3rd Gen Shiny Pokemon Discussion

I just caught a shiny Pidgey on my FR. It was the first Pokemon I ran into after i got some pokeballs at the mart.

Wow congrads shiny Pidgey is a nice shiny. I am sring for shiny Mewtwo in my Fire Red now because I gave up on shiny Suicune. So wish me luck.

... yah, realy fun (i kent doing a new game for about 3-4 hours till i got torchic, then traded it to another game. then i started over again with treecko. same for mudkip)


and i also got a shiny zigzagoon, shiny ralts, and shiny taliow

Since i bought fire red and emerald i have many shiny's

I've been soft resetting for Zapdos for quite some time now, I feel like switching back to Moltres. I was watching a Shiny Tribute Video on YouTube yesterday, and I saw the best drawing of Alakazam ever, so it makes me want to get a shiny Abra. I can't really decide on who I should hunt first.

I am one of those People who only get starters/Pokemon the same gender as the player. Once, when trying to get a female Torchic, I saw a male sign so I turned it off to reset. BUT THE MILLISECOND BEFORE THE POWER CLICKED OFF, I saw the shiny stars float around the male Torchic...

I nearly cried. :(

I'm sorry, but why in the world do you waste your time trying to get Pokemon that are only the same gender as your player? It's really quite dumb, and stuff like that can happen to you. Everyone else, please use this person's ignorance as an example, and ALWAYS check to see if the Pokemon you are !

I completed the Hoenn Dex on my Emerald Dex a couple of days ago, so now I'm SRing for Latias on Emearld. (I transferred the Eon Tickets from my Ruby). Wish me luck.

Whats point wading through 8000+ Pokemon to find a shiny, my friend has action replay and he can get any shiny he wants! personally i think cheating isnt good but that isnt as bad as cheating to complete a game i might add!

Wow what a dumbass. Dont cheat to get shiny that is the worst idea ever. Cause what do you have to show for it. A shiny hunted is better then a shiny cheated. Cause when someone asks you how you got that shiny and you are like I cheated they are going to be like wow what a loser. A shiny that is through a lot of hard work to get is more valueable then a shiny cheated.

Lol I just saw the past page of posts and they were hilarious. Anyways Shiny hunter don't insult the guy just because he wants to cheat for a shiny. Many people just want shiny's just because they look cool, they don't care for there rareness. I mean sure it isn't the honest way to get one.

I've been playing Pokemon games for 4 or 5 years, and I've never even seen a shiny. >_<

same thing with me never got one from when i first got red:P
