Actually, I thought that she dragged him off so Temaku wouldn't overhear them.... which is probably the same reason she drags him off again later on..

~_~;; Over the years, Ash and Misty got to know eachother REALLY well. So um, there's one little thing that May can't beat Misty, and that's knowing Ash like Misty does. =P One boo-boo there for Advanceshippers.
As for pulling off Brock, that's from Misty's arrogance and boyishness. She pulls the idiot away from girls because they already know he'll not be able to captivate any of their hearts. =P

Um.. as for the boo-boo thing, sorry I ran out of words. ^^;;

It doesn't matter if Ash and Misty have known each other longer, especially since Misty's pretty much permanently thrown off the show.

Some of you don't seem to grasp the idea that ships die sometimes. =/

Um.. who's told you she's permanently thrown off the show? Just because her voice actor left doesn't mean they can get someone else. The fans will soon want more Misty over May or any other new girl.

You can't beat the original. =3

OMG. People, no character has been permanently thrown off the show, and that includes Misty/Kasumi. Though she may not be a part of the group for the time being, she is still involved in many Chronicle/Housou episodes, which basically means that she's gonna be in the series for years to come. Unless the producers actually announce any character will not be coming back, there's always a chance that old faces will continually pop up.

Yes, everything changes as the song goes, but by how much?

Well...I support Pokeshipping...and the idea that it'll happen in Japan, too. I mean, all of the expressions Misty's had about Ash were definitely from the original version, and there's no other way to take them. I can remember two episodes in particular: the Lavender Town episode when Ash wakes up, and one Johto episode when Brock falls in love again and Misty drags him aside to talk to him about it, then he asks the million-dollar question: "Well, how do you know so much about love?"...Her expression is priceless, and can only be taken that one way...ALSO, it couldn't have been about anything else since there couldn't have been any other reason for her to drag him off to talk.
I remember that episode like it were yesterday...
Oh yeah, I'd also like to point out something. As soon as Brock asked Misty that question, the screen fades. That particular fading looked like that it was added in by 4Kids; it didn't look like it was part of the show. Wonder what 4Kids could have cut out that particular episode?

Whoops. My bad. Copied a little too much.

I was refering to the Temaku episode. I don't remember the name.

Well, there's two things that an AAML fan looked for in that episode. First, there was the scene when Misty dragged Brock out of the building. Trying to talk some sense into him, Misty was trying to make Brock more confident. Apparently, he was always the first to go crazy for the girls. Temaku, on the other hand, went crazy for Brock instead. Therefore, Brock didn't know what to do. (that, and he didn't show much interest since Temaku was younger looking that he was.)

While coaching Brock, Brock pops that question. "How do you know so much about love?" Misty's face completely goes blank, and joins Brock on leaning on the balcony. At that instant, there's the fading that seriously seems to be added in.

The second thing is when Ash remarks that Brock and Temaku should marry since they seem perfect together. Misty remarked something similar: "We're gonna get married someday, too." Ash agreed as he didn't catch it at first. Then Ash acts suprised, but before anything else happened, Team Rocket caused trouble, and Ash never did give it a second thought... Oh well.

Oh, yeah, I forgot about that second part, but I'm pretty sure that she got out a "I meant to other people, hahah....." cover-up.

BTW, did you think to look up what the japanese episode loked like there to find out (like at Serebii.net or whatever)?

Nah, I'm pretty sure that Misty never said anything after that "slip."

I really didn't think to compare the English and Japanese episodes only because that fade simply just looked like it was edited in. Not only did it fade, but so did the music in the background, so that's definately a sign that it was added by 4Kids.

~_~; Is everything ya'll are against apparently done by 4Kids?

Um, I remember hearing a voice clip of that part from that episode. *tries to remember*
Ash: Imagine Brock married..
Misty: You and I will be married someday too..
Ash: Mmm hm..... WHAAA???

Wha???

I never said anything about that! In fact, I support 4Kids because they continue to this day to try to justify what AAML fans, like me, belive in!

People who are against 4Kids generally only belive in the Japanese version.

Um.. I basically believe in the Japanese version AND the 4kids versions.. but um, well, I'm Pokeshipping y'know?

I said "pretty much", meaning I was indicating it was just an opinion.
Just because her voice actor left doesn't mean they can get someone else.
Doesn't mean she has to return as a permanent member either.
The fans will soon want more Misty over May or any other new girl.
And where's the evidence for this? There's nothing suggesting that Misty is suddenly going to have a sudden boom in popularity.
You can't beat the original. =3
Sure ya can. It's all in the way it's done.

...Oh, really??...I'm guessing from your avatar that you're an Inuyasha fan...well, what if Kagome disappeared from the series and someone else took over for her?? Would you enjoy that? Wouldn't it matter? The answer's no. That's because the original is what people get used to...there's no beating it, no matter how hard you try.

I don't even like Kagome for one thing, so her getting kicked off the show and replaced with someone else wouldn't really bother me at all. Especially if I like the person more... And I probably would.

Kagome isn't really the "original" one anyway, if you want to get all literal Kikyou is the "original", and in this case I like the "original" one more.

It's simple to make a newer thing better than an older one, it's called improving. Yeah sometimes newer things suck, and you can't ever replace the old one, but that doesn't automatically mean the newer thing sucks.

Besides, assuming Ash and May don't like each other, that sure as hell doesn't mean Ash and Misty are going to hook up. Contrary to popular belief, the death of a ship doesn't mean the other one is in the bag.

Um... there hasn't been a "death of a ship yet". A whole lot of people still believe in Pokeshipping, and there's also those hundreds of little hints and all in the series. That hanky Ash has from Misty.. the unreturned bike... (and awfully copied in AG)... Rudy's little episode.. all that. =P

And well, you're right in a way, that death of a ship doens't mean another one's gonna stay forever. Oh and... Pokeshipping hasn't died ... yet. =3

If you think I said that, you need to read the post again.
A whole lot of people still believe in Pokeshipping,
A lot of people believe in Advanceshipping, Contestshipping, and Hoennshipping, but that doesn't mean they'll all happen.
and there's also those hundreds of little hints and all in the series.
There haven't been any shipping hints in Hoenn OR the new Kanto series (if anything, the new Kanto series had more Orangeshipping and I forgot what Misty x Max is called hints).
That hanky Ash has from Misty..
The hanky hasn't even been mentioned since that Taillow episode.
the unreturned bike... (and awfully copied in AG)...
Misty DID get her bike back, it was May who never got another one (and didn't complain much).
Rudy's little episode.. all that. =P
Which again, happened a long time ago and we haven't had anything decent since.
Oh and... Pokeshipping hasn't died ... yet. =3
IMO, it's been dead.

Meh. I've always viewed Pokeshipping as being one-sided, since Satoshi has never shown any actual interest in Kasumi. Therefore, I doubt it'll ever happen on the show.

Yeah, like that's NOT what that meant...

Oh, there you go again. It isn't dead. In fact, with Misty gone, there are even MORE people who want her back...

No. You completely missed the meaning. It was more of a general thing. If anything, I was using Advanceshipping as an example (If Advanceshipping dies, that doesn't mean Pokeshipping is going to happen and vise versa).

Don't tell me what I mean when you're the one who doesn't understand. =0
Oh, there you go again. It isn't dead.
Then back up what you say.

And keep in mind I'm not saying the shippers are dead, I'm saying the idea of it being canon is dead. Big difference.
In fact, with Misty gone, there are even MORE people who want her back...
Not every Misty fan is a Pokeshipper for one thing. And so what if people want her back? I want the writers to ditch the current cast and make a more manga based show, but that doesn't mean it'll happen.

Wanting =/= Actually happening.
