    Dont you hate it when you hafta get a shot and the doctor or the nurse is like "This wont hurt a bit" and he/she stabs you with it? ;;

    I know I do.....I mean of course its going to hurt. ;;
     
    no, does not bother me at all, since i'll be doing the same in the future. All I do is take a deep breath, close my eyes then open when it's done... like nothing happened.
     
    If you think it's going to hurt then it hurts more. >_> Don't be a wimp. There's nothing wrong with it. I had my flu shot yesterday, and when you don't pay attention it actually *doesn't* hurt, believe it or not.
     
    I dont even feal it when it goes in O.o..maybe a tiny prick..But i hate it when they flick you just before the insert the injection><
     
    My skin is sensitive, so I'm more scared of the alcohol they wipe you with than the shot itself.

    I'm usually preoccupied with the burning sentsation on my arm than the needle :0
    (Yeah, alcohol seems to damage my skin quite a bit)
     
    I find being bitten by an ant more painful than having shots. oO; Hmm.
     
    I never got worried about shots & such but I haven't had a shot for a long time. I missed the BCG tuberculosis shot last year because I was suspended from school. That one was supposed to be the worst shot. Some people feinted from the pain. I would of rather done it then, but hearing that made me a little nervous.

    I've got to take about 5 shots later this year, because I'm going on holiday to Egypt.
     
    The way I see it, needles are only in your arm for a few seconds, so why worry about them? It's not like they will kill you or anything, or even hurt at all.
     
    Mmmm needles, nope..doesn't affect me.
     
    Tip: If you're afraid of the pain, don't look at the needle. If you look at the needle, you'll think about it, and if you think about it at all, it will hurt because you know it's going in.

    It doesn't really hurt for me. The most I get is a dull pain afterwards, but it's nothing unbearable.
     
    Needles? HELP! I hate this sort of shots...... It is not the shot that is awefull, it is the waiting...
     
    Acutally, shots don't hurt me that much. ^^;
    So no, I don't hate it when that happens, because it never does. XD
     
    Its not the shot that bothers me, its the thought of a hollow needle. But Im a bit of a hypocrite seeing as I have had soooo many piercings and tattoos. :cool:

    Shots have never bothered me. I really don't even feel them.

    The only one that ever did "hurt" was when I was in 7th grade, I had to get a hepatitus shot. The nurse put it in the "wrong area" so she did it about 4 times...at least I'll never get hepatitus, but my arm did feel almost like it was asleep for a few hours after that.

    Giving blood feels akward, but I wouldn't say it hurts.
     
    ~I'm used to getting shots...[Dad's a doctor..] so I can't say I them extremely painful...but I guess it depends on the person.
     
    the nurse says " its gonna be like a pinch"... buut really its like a punch in the gut... thats just me because... i was like young and my skin didnt develop well...
    anyway i thought this thread was about shootings xD
     
    I've had so many shots in my life that I barely even notice it anymore. I always just look away, trying to think of somehting happy, not about the shot. That just makes it hurt worse. =/
     
    I can handle things like flu shots without a problem. However, try having a broken arm and sitting there, already in enough pain, having a doctor stick a long needle right into where your arm is broken and move it around while at the same time having some pointless needle that the doctors never use stuck in your hand and taped there. I've been through that before. x_x I could feel the needle scraping my bone *shudder*. That was a little too much for me.
