I understand half of which you're saying as duly correct, and I never stated that Blaziken and Sceptile has anything to do with this, I was merely comparing in retrospect to your statement. There's nothing wrong in morality about that statement, however, what might be the cause of your remark is that I had directly aimed it at you and never stated that this was my personal opinion. So, I apologize for all the inconvenience I may have caused by my rather strange outburst, and I can fully understand the tacts of your reply.
Remember, they are kids. Is it expected for adults to emulate Pokémon? It's only at maturity they realize that life isn't a merry-go-round, nor is it supposed to be emulated by fictitious characters that have major exaggerations on the stature of real life. It's human nature. Don't say no to that, at least.
If kids aren't dependent... would you like that? I'm talking about kids, here. 6-10 range. Any above wouldn't feel so strongly to imitate Ash and his various antics, save for Cosplays and such. When you were a kid, what was the routine? Going to school, and staying at home. If you have a brother or sister, you can basically say you're living with them. And say your sibling wasn't your sibling, just a friend. Would you accept him/her? It's confusing, I know.
Then, would you say to your mother : "Mom, I'm packing my bags and leaving on a Pokémon journey. I'll visit you when I can!" and run off? The first thing that'd happen (remember, 6-10 years old) is that you'd get lost. Would you want that?
And about the fast-changing character idea of yours, would you really see some light in doing so, I wonder. I believe you make a point here with this, but then Ash would be shown as the main character... ALWAYS. And that will hurt the female kids, as Pokémon would invariably become boyish. You see, it goes something like this:
"Ash (the boy), with a girl and a adult presence"
I wouldn't change that. But if a certain hybrid version of your idea can be made, I'm all ears.
Like I said, yours is a good idea. Just that there are some limitations.
And Ash isn't growing up. No, he's 10. Not 15. They tried to make him mature, but brought him back below. Nope, he's never gonna grow up. Even though he's through these many journeys, he hasn't physically, nor mentally grown up. A good reason would be illustrated here.
Too many character switches, can also lead it to be a "ramble on the bamble" type of anime, where some guy just meets new people and continues on to a never ending goal.
It's also to notify you that being a "Pokémon Master" isn't the ultimatum. Kids should be brought to the notice that there are many fish on the pond. May focused on Contests, she had her own rivals. They nicely illustrated the game of contests. Brock wanted to be good with Pokémon, he's a cook, he feeds the whole crew, he takes care of em too!
And please don't excessively compare with other anime. I didn't say you did but just a warning. The story is different, the rules are different. If you think xxx is a better anime then Pokémon, so be it. Watch that instead, who's preventing you?

-1) I said Kids should learn to be self-reliable , Not Rebellious !
Its okay for Kids to be spoiled when they are around 5 or 6 year !
But when they reach 10 , Its time for them to learn to take care of themself !
-2) Why does the Anime needs a female cast with a subplot to attract female audience ?
Most Popular Magical girl Anime are femalish but that doesn't mean they are only watch by girl .
Honestly , A lot of males watchs them for ''Moe'' !
Plus Anime's like '
'K-on'',
''Lucky Star'' and
''Toaru Kagaku no Index'' are completely femalish but that doesn't mean those anime are watch by only female's !
Plus , What about Female rival ? that what fans being asking for since DP & BW !
Female fan will be attracted to the show if writer simply create a good *****y female rival and tried to create some romance between them .

Pokemon isn't a Drama show like ''One tree hill'' Or ''Honey & Clover'' that focus on the goal & life-straggle on all Character !
Pokemon simply a Kids Anime about a Boy trying to reach his goal !

Kento series still more Popular then other series despite Misty's lack of development & stable Goal because her role was simply to support ash and become a ''Love-interest'' !

But During AG , DP & BW , Writer made the mistake of Giving traveling companion Sud-plot which ruined the series !

Kids Anime has to be about ''All character trying to achieve One goal '' !
Kids anime has to be simple & exciting !
Trying to create an Anime about a boy & a girl trying to achieve complete different thing only will confuse Kids !
I believe Kids would rather prefer a Boy & a girl trying to achieve One goal together Or opposing each other .

Why does ''Saving The World'' has to be reserve for Ash , his Sidekicks and some adult nearby ! Why can't Ash's rival join Ash in the Villainous Ark ?
Because I believe Kids Would like to See Ash , his Sidekick , his rival , Gym Leader , E4 Member , Champion & Other referring Character wage War against the villainous Team which end in a showdown between Ash & the Main Antagonist !!!

Pokemon TV rating droped with every series !
Its obvious because
Pokemon kept repeating the same story over & Over !!!
So , if Pokemon repeat the story again then it might survived Gen VI but it won't survived during Gen VII & Gen VIII !!!
If Satoshi Tejii is a Good Anime Producer then he should realize that by Now !
May be that why They are creating ''Pokemon Origin'' ! To see Audience reaction with a New Protagonist .
Plus , Current Kids doesn't need to wait 15 year like us to know Pokemon is going anywhere !
So there no point depending on babies !!!
Pokemon isn't a ''Gag Anime'' Like Doreamon that can go endlessly ! Pokemon is Anime with ''Continuity'' !
That why Doraemon still gets 12% to 16% rating while Pokemon barely gets 3% to 5% rating!
And Repeating the same story will cause Pokemon's avarage rating to be 1.1 % to 2.2% during the End of Gen VI series .
That prove that the So Called TARGET AUDIENCE rejected Pokemon Best Wishs !
Even if Pokemon targeted Kids , Its story meant to be a Shouene ! So It need to be treated like a ''Kids Shouene Anime'' Where Ash doesn't learn his limit , HE BREAK HIS LIMIT AND REACH ANOTHER LEVEL !
Just like Shogo Chara ! It target even younger Kids But it was handle like a Shoujo Anime rather then a Gag Anime ! That why that Series won ''Best Children Manga Award''
