OOC: Lol, that name doesn't quite match the methods. XD Originally it was just a day when the whole sibling-set (All of them parents now) got together with a whole lot of alcohol involved. The story was that they were drinking in memory of the innocent children of the world. XD I suppose they just decided to make it more family-friendly later on. Not to say that alcohol wouldn't still be in the picture, mind you. ^-^ They've been up to a lot of that kind of stuff, actually. My dad and his drinking buddies once put together an organization called 'The Friends of Soberity' and they actually had a plan to request government funding for it. XD They decided against it though, even though technically they had a good chance of succeeding. ^-^
And yes, you are the pro of clothing Charon, I'll give it that. All hail! ^0^
But aye, there is always something new to be learned about the subtle art of insomnia, ne? XD

{Umm...here!} Kaika replied, nudging towards the fence, {Him bes goings straight over, right here.} the little Vulpix sniffed a bit more at the iron fence, {It-it bes smellings real fresh...} he added thoughtfully, his brow furrowed as he tried to puzzle through this dilemma, {Almost as if him bes goings here just now...}
"I'm telling you, there was more than one!"
The frustrated cry of a guardsman sounded from the other side of the fence, the voice's owner, a somewhat pudgy man in his mid-thirties with scruffy light brown hair, dressed in a somewhat dirty guardsman's uniform, massaging his stiff joints and the back of his head intently "I was going right over there to investigate a noise when some crazy bastard snuck up from behind and jumped me!"
"Another person, eh?" asked another man, this one a definitely older, more pompous and far more self-important looking one in a far more decorative uniform, his hair concealed beneath the cap, also significantly more decorative than the regular guardsman's, and a carefully trimmed black moustache hanging down below his nose, serving as the only piece of visible hair on his face, except for the man's heavy black eyebrows, "Then perhaps you could describe these mysterious intruders for me, hmm?" he leaned towards the guardsman with a definite air of triumph in his voice.
"Of course I can't." the other man replied irritably, "I told you, I was jumped from behind before I could check it out. I heard his voice, though..."
"Oh, splendid work!" the pompous one said sarcastically, "I suppose you're suggesting that we should now go and line up all the people in this city for a big voice auditioning, eh? Your story reeks of an overblown imagination a long way lad, we'll have to-" the man cut himself short, suddenly spotting Maxie and Kaika by the fence and striding over to them.
"Here, here." he declared pompously, "This is a private area missy, what do you think you are doing hanging around here, hmm?" he leaned closer to the girl, "I daresay that it is mighty suspicious for one like to you to be loitering about the scene of the crime. Now before you respond, keep in mind that I am well-versed in the Schoffhausen method of lie detection, and should you try to pull some kind of tricks I will find out. Now speak up, girl!" he said in an authoritan voice, "What are you doing here?"

Meanwhile in the Azure Town pok?mon center, Rai exited the room he shared with Kayley and Jena in a much more positive mood than he had been in when he had entered, the peculiar object he had recieved from Tenari now securely latched onto the silver chain, it had been a surprisingly simple matter really, as the surface had given in under significant enough pressure to allow the chain to get through but had hardened back to its semi-solid state the moment he had withdrawn his hand. It would hold, just as long as someone didn't decide to simply pull the object straight off, and it wasn't really second to a gemstone in any visual way. Far less incriminating than his pendant too...
Walking downstairs, the boy could immediately notice a significant change in the reactions of others, noting with relief that the old Rai was indeed back in all aspects, and it didn't take too long for him to find someone to direct him to Amelia. The trainee was currently busy feverishly scrubbing away at the mountain of dishes she had been assigned, Kuro standing on the side and handing her dirty dish after dirty dish while the trainee did the actual cleaning. She had a definitely unconcentrating air about her though, her gaze frequently shifting towards the kitchen window when she thought no-one was looking, and Rai felt a definite sense of impending doom as he approached her, knowing how jumpy Amelia tended to be about such things.
"Excuse me." he said as softly as he could, still not succeeding at preventing Amelia from nearly dropping the plate she was currently holding onto the floor and turning around with a shocked look on her face.
"Oh, it's you." she said, sighing in relief as he recognized the boy's face, "You were with Zachary and the others, um...your name is Rai, right?"
Rai nodded, unable to resist smiling as he noticed that the trainee was peering hopefully behind him, as if expecting to see someone else, although at the same time there was a certain look of fear in her eyes, just in case there would be more of the group about than she had bargained for, "That's right." he replied, "You wouldn't have happened to see a Vulpix around here, would you?"
Amelia shook her head, "Um...no, no I haven't." she said, giving him a quizzical look, "Is-is something wrong?"
Rai bit his lip. Not here? he thought for himself, But I told him... "Oh, it's...nothing." he replied, "Just a little complication it's all. Sorry to bother you." he turned to leave.
"Umm...okay then." Amelia replied, dutifully accepting the lie as always, that kind of guilability had to be some kind of crime "Tell Zachary I said 'hi'!" she called after him.
The boy couldn't resist cracking a smile. "I will!" he called back, walking out of the kitchen, and the pok?mon center, until he managed to make his way to the exit, at which point he broke of into a full run, heading towards the place where he had seen the Vulpix last, right outside the factory. Perhaps he had returned there? It was a long shot, but at the moment, Rai didn't really have anything else to go by.
