What is the custom code colour for your pictures faces?
For example, the code for red is Hue 0, Sat 240, Lum 120

Here is my first ever pixel art drawing, just did it :) I based it on one of Signomis pictures, i hope you dont mind :nervous: Anyway i can improve it? Suggestions welcome :)

How you can improve on it?

Well first of all, try not to save anything as .JPG, as it blurs the picture's quality, try saving it as either .PNG or .GIF.

Secondly, I see not too much of a problem with the hair, however, it does look rather symmetrical, try adding highlights in certain places, and make sure the colours blend perfectly together, for instance, the darker shade of blue you used is a little too dark, try and lighten its contrast. And you might want to add another piece of hair on his back head, it looks like his sideburn practically glues to his face, doesn't make me think much of it ^^;

The face is the part that sort of gets me, it is a little long, try shortening it a bit. Try not to bring the eyes too close together...that's probably making me think that the face is a little long, try spreading them out a bit more. I also see a little light source mix up in places, for instance, the centre of his forehead, where his hair overlaps, contains no shadow.

But overall, nice work, it quite resembles mine, good attempt :)

Hm..ok, time for some updates...well...I've only 2 half body pictures to show, really ^.~

Yes, TDT, I remember Pearl. I never really bothered to full body her, so I did a half body...I kind of like how this came out...but really, the only thing I truely like about it would be the pose. That's all.

Well they are both nice, but I like the bottom one better. Pearl's hair seems kind of roughly done. The Gaia Avatar ones hair seems nice and smooth, also I love blue :D.

Heh, thanks for the comments ^^; Now, for this one, I got quite lazy and kept putting it off, but I finally managed to finish it today o.O

My blue...thing...never gave it a name yet..but ahwell.

As for this one it looks like you spent more time on the hair and the gills etc. But none the less it is very good.

The shading in the forehead confuses me though. I believe it comes from the eyebrow then. If it is, then the eyebrow is pretty high up |D
