    Maybe the admins should put this in the footer of PC so people can see their refferal ID:
    Code:
    <center>
    Your referral id is:<br>
    <a href="$vboptions[bburl]/$vboptions[forumhome].php?referrerid=$bbuserinfo[userid]">$vboptions[bburl]/$vboptions[forumhome].php?referrerid=$bbuserinfo[userid]</a>
    </center>
    it can be added throught the admin cp under style manager

    For..people who want to do the refer link but don't just grab the number off the end of the URL to their profile? o_O;

    It's nice, but I don't know how much use it'd get. ^_^;

    [PokeCommunity.com] Simple Hack For PC

    thats what it would look like *makes note to submit this to vbulletin hacks site*

    Whats the actual use of it? o.?
    I didnt get it XD

    Sounds pretty good, but it seems a little out of place. Maybe it could be a link in the bottom navbar that opens in a popup saying,
    "Refer your friends to {forum name} using this link:
    {link}"?

    I was going to ask the same thing. What is the point?

    The point is to put it on your website, send it to your friends, etc. so when they click the link and sign up, you automatically get a referral.

    Oh ok. I gotcha. Wow, that is nice. I would certainly use it.

    I think this is just so it is faster to access, considering it is always at the bottom, instead of having to go and search for that in the FAQ.

    But I think the idea was that this was just a quicker way instead of having to go find it in the FAQ everytime.

    If people really want to reap the "benefits" of having referrals... why not just take the time to go through the FAQ? Otherwise, just use the normal URL. o_O;

    Why not make a process more simple for a user? Does it hurt at all to do it? Just wondering.

    Well sure it could be quick and easy to have it at the bottom. But here is my points.
    1. It looks bad, I mean down there is a link with your refferal and it's not something you are going to use a lot (unless you are in a ton of chats or have a lot of friends).
    2. Like Erica said if you want to have the refferal thing down then take a little time and click a few links to get it.
    3. If you were going to add it to your site then it's not that hard to search it out and add it.

    Oh well, I know when I am beat.

    Lol theres alternate ways you know instead of going thru the faq like I said. For those who wan't it so bad lol. You can add it to the CP entrance you know since its practicaly emty there so people know where it is and everyones happy (come on who doesn't go to the CP? lol)

    Good point and good place. I think adding it to the User CP page would be better then having it at the footer. It's out of the way, yet easy to get to. And it works out for everyone.
