i have a couple of questions
how can i go to mirage island??
can you get the ticket to far away island in one of this games??

Im afraid that mirage anf far away island are not accessible by just playing the game. As you know you have to obtain the specific tickets to access those islands and these tickets cannot be achieved via the game. The only way you can get those tickets is via a special event in the U.S or in other countries and places. The only other option you have to get those tickets is by mystery gift, so if your friend has the ticket in his/her game then you may be lucky enough to obtain it.

Actually, Mirage Island is obtainable in the game; though you won't see much there but some rare berries and wild Wynauts. What you have to do, basically, is talk to the old man in Pacifidlog (sorry if I misspelled the name) that's always looking out the window, to the east. He'll say that he can or cannot see Mirage Island that day. Whether he can or cannot is based upon the Pokemon you have in your party; there's a secret ID that the game randomly selects every day to be the Mirage Island number. And if any of your Pokemon have that secret ID, Mirage Island will appear after you talk to the old man.

i have one more question
there is a guy that every time that you win the highest pokemon contest he makes a paint of that pokemon he gives you a ribbon and the painting goes to display at the museum.
what happens when you win all the different types of contests???(just need 2 more)

Im not sure if I recall correctly, but I believe you get your trainer card to the next color. Silver I think if you havent already? Since beating the E4 gives you a bronze card.

They have POKERUS!

Okay, I'm at the PC and the nurse says that my Pokemon may be infected with Pokerus. I know that it works like a Macho brace, but is there any way to tell which one is infected, or how many?

BTW, there was a lv.24 Sandshrew, lv.26 Aron, lv.26 Gloom, lv.29 Combusken, lv.27 Sableye, and lv.14 Lotad in my party at the time, in that order, in case that information is needed.

EDIT: AH! Nevermind, I checked their stats and it's a status condition. Sandshrew and Aron. I'm changing my question, then: How do you affect your other Pokemon with it, and is it permanent?

Smeargle.

LisahKara: As has already been explained here (I think...maybe it was the other SQ thread), PokeRus has a time limit as long as the Pokemon stays in your party. But, if you deposit it, the Pokemon will stay infected. As far as infecting others, just stick them together in your party.

First off congrats in getting pokerus its rarer than a shiny,

anyway i recently got pokerus to so i can answer those questions:

Firstly, it wont last forever i thinks it between 24 and 72 hours after which the pokemon infected will get a little black dot inbetween the pokeball and lvl in the status screen.

Now what you should do is, if you have fly, fly back to littleroot and catch a level 3 wurmple or any other pokemon and infect it then put that pokemon into the PC so you have a test tube that will last forever, i myself have six of these so i can do EV training quicker. Anyway to spread it just battle wild or trainer pokes and it spreads through out your team theres like a 1 in 3 chance of pokemon in your team of getting pokerus every battle.

any others?

are there going to be any other r/s/e games apart from r/s/e? because there are 4 in the first generation, and technically, fire red and leaf green are versions of the first generation. so whats to stop them making a remake of the r/s/e games? does anyone agree with me?

...Red, Blue, Yellow...I only count 3...unless you're counting Green as a separate game, which you shouldn't be.

As far as a remake, I don't think so. If they did, it would be for the DS, and what point is there in that if D/P can connect to RES as-is?

Which is why I would prefer a GSC remake over RSE, although a GSC remake that INCLUDED the Hoenn region would be the best game ever.

Agreed! Going back to Kanto in GCS was one of the best features Nintendo ever put in a Pokemon Game. And a remake of ERS is kind of... redundant? Isn't it already pretty recent? So far the second generation is the one which we have no power to trade over to the modern games, so a remake of GCS would be much more... nostalgic than any others.

Hey... how far exactly do you have to advance to unlock the ability to mix records in Sapphire/Ruby?

Also, to battle the trainer in the mixedrecord secret base, do you have to already have beaten the Elite 4?
