@Mrbadboy3: You have to have beaten Evice and purified all the Shadow Pokemon. Once you've done that, go to Battle Mode's Mt. Battle (it's accesible from the main menu when you start up the game), register your current story mode team (it can consist of traded Pokemon), and do the Mt. Battle challenge. All of this is in Battle Mode, as opposed to Story Mode. In the Battle Mode Mt. Battle, all the trainers' Pokemon are at the same level as your highest-leveled Pokemon, so you want to make sure that they are all the same level. The difficulty increases with each trainer, but it's overall not that hard. After you beat the 100th one, Ho-Oh is given to you and is placed in your PC.

@shirokiryuu: !!**Alex**!! is right. Also keep in mind that their levels stop going up at a certain point; for example, the Triathletes' Dodrios' levels in Route 117 stop at Lv. 37.

I'd recommend the bold nature (+Def -Atk) to make up for its lack of defense or Modest (+Sp Atk -Atk) for all out power

O_o

That has nothing to do with any of the questions asked, aneeljames

I think he accidentally overlooked the last 77 pages ;)

That all depends on what version of Deoxys you are referring to. It should be either +SAtk or +Atk, depending on what role your Deoxys will be filling.

NEVER give Deoxys a +Def or +SDef (unless it is the LG version). That is a complete waste since it won't improve the crappy defenses enough to take a hit. Focus to make your Deoxys stronger offensively.

I have a question, what is behind the plants that are in the house close to the pokemon center in sootopolis city?(There is an old man inside the house)

That was supposed to be where two people could go in there using the e-Reader, but I don't believe that was ever completed, after the big flop of the e-Reader/e-Cards.

Ok I have another question and I know it may seem stupid to ask but why haven't they made any eeveelutions that are a rock, flying, steel, or poison type?

I don't know why but in the Fourth generation there is a water and grass evolutions.

That question is beyond the scope of ANYONE here. It would be an interesting topic for a thread, though ;)--just in the right place.

BTW, how do you suppose those would be able to be evolved to?

Actually the Glacia is an ice type not water. The water type is Vaporeon

I don't know, maby they could make some new evalution stones.

Okay, I've asked this question before, however, it was in teh wrong place and I was told that. Anyways, here is my simple question though I don't think it's simple.

I have beaten the ruby and sapphire versions already, however, am working now on the emerald version. Okay, I want to transfer all my pokemon I've captured in teh ruby and sapphire versions to go into my emerald versions, but the ones that Emerald doesn't have.

However, when I tried to link up, it kept saying please wait for a link connection. I could wait for hours and it'd still be the same way. I have no ideah why it isn't working.

I know it can't be the cable link because I've already tried it out on my silver gold to transfer into crystal.

I'm wondering if there's some kind of code I'm supposed to have to access to like a permission form or something????

Anyways, that's what I've been wanting to know and to also find out if anyone else has had the problem though I doubt anyone else does.

Oh and no one in my tiny city have pokemon games in which I can trade from so I buy my own. Besides, you can't become a pokemon master if you haven't played all and won at least once in each game? The only think I haven't won yet is the pearl and diamond version which I do not own yet, but will soon.

If it works for G/S/C, then it probably wont work for R/S/E since I believe the GBA and GBC gamelink cables are not the same. The GBC cables are not forwards-compatible and so wont work for the GBA games so youll need a GBA gamelink

Ahh, but. . . The games I bought were sapphire and ruby first which also came with cordless cable links for game boy advance. (not really sure, I could have gotten it from my gameboy advance sp.) Anyways, The cordless links I got worked perfectly for trading my silver, gold pokemon to crystal, but it doesn't work for sapphire, ruby to emerald. (just so you know, I have both the gameboy advance and the game boy advance SP)

But I guess there must be a glitch or written code or something the prevents me from doing it, so maybe I should by a new link system? Thanks for your help though. I just wish it was that.

Key word: wireless.

Ruby and Sapphire do not support wireless transmission.

I have already answered this for you, but I will do so again. Here are the problems you are having:

1. You are using an old GBC link cable that is not compatible with the RSE/FRLG games that require a GBA link cable.

2. You are trying to use wireless link cables that, as CW already stated, are not compatible with RS.

3. You have not yet received the National Pokedex in your Emerald version, which you MUST have in order to trade Pokes from the Kanto/Johto regions.

1. Ruby & Sapphire do NOT come with any sort of linking device.

2. There is no "glitch" or "written code" dealing with linking the Pokemon games WHATSOEVER (unless your cart's glitched due to cheating, in which case you're stuck).

3. If the link worked with GSC, then it WILL NOT work with the GBA games.

4-6. (what shanecdavis said).

:( You guys don't have to yell at me all at once.

I'm so frustrated.

I know about getting the national pokedex in the Emerald!!!!! Okay, second, I do have Link Cables that work for both game boy and gameboy advance.

It's a single cord that one end holds the game boy advance plug while the other side holds two seperate links. One for the regular Game boy and the other for Game boy advance and it still doesn't work!!!

Plus I don't cheat! I don't use legendary pokemon to try and beat the elite four nor do I use cheat codes to get more of one rare thing like other's here have done.

Anyways, thanks for all of you're helps and I do take in what you say, but you guys just don't get me. Maybe I'm just lousy at explaining stuff to others.

You are explaining yourself just fine, you just aren't listening.

That is the Game Boy Color link cable, NOT the Game Boy Advance cable. A GBA cable DOES NOT have two separate hookups. That is the old cable that used to have the old connection to the oldest version of Game Boy, the black and white version.

You have the wrong type of cable. Go to Wal-Mart or Game Stop or a similar store and ask for a GBA link cable. They are only a couple of dollars, if they even have them in stock anymore. You can also use the GBA/Game Cube link cable, even if you don't have GC. My sons have bought a few of those for our link battles on XD and Colesseum.

Okay, I've gotta ask, how would THAT work between two GBAs?
