Thanks for the help, but heres another question:
Out of that list, what can be found in emerald?

All but the following:

Arbok
Arcanine
Celebi
Cloyster
Ekans
Electabuzz
Elekid
Growlithe
Murkrow
Scizor
Scyther
Shellder

BTW - In the LG list, Whiscash should have been Quagsire. I confused the two as I was deleting Hoenn Pokes.

So there all the pokes that can only be found in FR? Awesome! thanks alot shancdavis

Ummm... sorry for posting this question here but the link in the second post in this thread doesn't seem to work.

My questions:

1) What are the best movesets for Charizard, Zapdos, Pidgeot, Suicune, Snorlax, Articuno, Moltres, Deoxys, Ho-oh and Lugia?
2) Are there any advantages for Slaking over Snorlax?

Thanks in advance.

Alrighty Then, As I only use 2 of those Pokemon ill just tell you my effective movesets, although i hardly use Ho-oh as it is a Uber.

Charizard @ Leftovers / Salac Berry
Trait: Blaze
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Spd / 4 SAtk
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Earthquake
- Hidden Power [Flying]
- Swords Dance
- Flamethrower

OR

Charizard @ Choice Band
Trait: Blaze
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Spd / 4 SAtk
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Earthquake
- Hidden Power [Flying]
- Flamethrower / Focus Punch / Rock Slide
- Flamethrower / Focus Punch / Rock Slide
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Ho-oH @ Petaya Berry
Trait:
EVs: 252 Sp. Atk / 252 Spd / 4 HP
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Sunny Day
- Solar Beam
- Sacred Fire

(also Happy Birthday on This Awesome Day 10th of March) (Its my B-day Too!)

Thanks a lot! :)

Answers in bold:
Ummm... sorry for posting this question here but the link in the second post in this thread doesn't seem to work.

My questions:

1) What are the best movesets for Charizard, Zapdos, Pidgeot, Suicune, Snorlax, Articuno, Moltres, Deoxys, Ho-oh and Lugia?

Charizard @ Salac Berry
Trait: Blaze
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Spd / 4 SAtk
Naive Nature (+Spd, -SDef)
- Aerial Ace / Rock Slide
- Earthquake
- Fire Blast / Substitute
- Swords Dance / Substitute

Zapdos @ Leftovers
Trait: Pressure
EVs: 60 HP / 76 Def / 144 Spd / 172 SAtk / 56 SDef
Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Drill Peck
- Rest
- Sleep Talk
- Thunderbolt

Suicune @ Leftovers
Trait: Pressure
EVs: 252 HP / 212 Def / 56 Spd
BOLD (+Def, -Atk)
- Surf
- Roar / Ice Beam
- Calm Mind / Sleep Talk
- Rest

Snorlax @ Leftovers
Trait: Thick Fat
EVs: 140 HP / 72 Atk / 156 Def / 140 SDef
Careful Nature (+SDef, -SAtk)
- Double-Edge / Return / Body Slam
- Earthquake / Shadow Ball
- Rest
- Sleep Talk

Articuno @ Leftovers
Trait: Pressure
EVs: 252 HP / 16 Def / 8 Spd / 96 SAtk / 136 SDef
Calm Nature (+SDef, -Atk)
- Ice Beam
- Rest
- Substitute / Protect / Reflect
- Protect / Sleep Talk

Moltres @ Leftovers / Petaya Berry
Trait: Pressure
EVs: 12 HP / 252 Spd / 246 SAtk
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Sunny Day
- Flamethrower / Fire Blast
- Morning Sun
- Will-O-Wisp / Substitute

Deoxys has four forms. Deoxys-F is the best one:

Deoxys-F @ Choice Band
Trait: Pressure
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Spd / 6 SAtk
Lonely Nature (+Atk, -Def) / Hasty Nature (+Spd, -Def)
- Shadow Ball
- Extremespeed
- Psychic
- Superpower

Paranoia's Ho-oh set can work, but be leery of using Serebii's moveset suggestions. They are a great website for many things, but competitive movesets is not one of them.

Lugia @ Leftovers
Trait: Pressure
EVs: 252 HP / 176 Def / 80 SDef
Careful Nature (+SDef, -SAtk)
- Aeroblast
- Reflect / Toxic
- Psychic / Shadow Ball
- Recover

2) Are there any advantages for Slaking over Snorlax?

None whatsoever.

Thanks in advance.
Your welcome after the fact.

Also shanecdavis what i meant was that i have Emerald and Leaf Green Version, What are the pokemon that aren't in those versions?

Oh, okay. Here is list #3 then:

Bellsprout
Celebi
Deoxys
Deoxys-L
Jirachi
Lunatone

Mantine
Masquerian
Medicham
Meditite
Misdreavus
Roselia
Slowbro
Slowking
Slowpoke
Sneasel
Surskit
Victreebel
Weepinbell
Zangoose

EDIT: List updated.

If I had more time, I would take out the Pokes you can get in FireRed, but I need to get to the airport to go home. I might update it over the weekend or leave it up to you.

(also Happy Birthday on This Awesome Day 10th of March) (Its my B-day Too!)
Yeah, thanks for the birthday wishes. Just noticed my age went up by one. You spend half your life trying to grow up and the other half trying to stay young. LOL

Happy B'day PARANOIA! May your wishes come tru on this day! God Bless you!

Should I teach it Flamethrower or Blast Burn?

Thanks a lot! :)
NEVER teach a Poke Blast Burn. You can do more damage attacking twice with Flamethrower in two turns than you can attacking only once in two turns with Blast Burn.

Wow its your B'day too?!? Sorry I didn't notice it... so HAPPY B'DAY!!
Ok thanks! Is this moveset OK for Chraizard?

Earthquake
Flamethrower
Swordsdance
Strength\Fireblast

And for Snorlax

Rest
(can it learn Blizzard? If yes is it OK if I put it?)
Sleep Talk
Facade/Thunder(can it learn thunder?)

When I am asking about if it can learn I mean through using a TM.

Wow its your B'day too?!? Sorry I didn't notice it... so HAPPY B'DAY!!

Thanks for the sentiment.

Ok thanks! Is this moveset OK for Chraizard?

Earthquake
Flamethrower
Swords Dance
Aerial Ace / Wing Attack / Rock Slide

Always avoid using two attacking moves of the same type. It only limits what your Poke is able to do. With two Fire moves, that leaves Charizard with only one physical attack to take advantage of the Swords Dance boost. Also avoid using Normal-type attacks on non-Normal Pokes. There is always a better option. Aerial Ace / Wing Attack will not only take advantage of Swords Dance, but it gains STAB, making it a strong attack. Rock Slide allows Charizard to effectively hit Pokes that Earthquake cannot hit.

And for Snorlax

Rest
Shadow Ball
Sleep Talk
Return / Body Slam

When I am asking about if it can learn I mean through using a TM.
Keep in mind that while Snorlax's base Atk is a high 110, its base SAtk is a pathetic 65, so special attacks are better used on other Pokes. Use either Return or Body Slam over Facade. Shadow Ball allows Snorlax to hit Pokes that are immune to Normal attacks. A Snorlax with Shadow Ball can make short work of Mewtwo.

Thanks a lot Shane (may I call you that?). I defeated the Elite four my game play time is 26:37 xD. I can't continue on my ROM. I am searching evrywhere fo rthe save fix but I can't Find it..........

I feel kind of silly asking this, but is it possible to buy EXP. Share? I got one from one of Prof. Oak's Aides, but I'd love to have more. My guess is its special and can't be purchased.

No, you cannot purchase Exp. Share. If you have both FireRed and LeafGreen, you can restart one cart over and then trade the good items over to your other cart. I do that in both FRLG and RSE. I have over 30 Exp. Share using that method, along with the same amount of Moon Stones, Master Balls, the good TMs (i.e. Earthquake), and more. You can use the duplication trick in Emerald if you want. Personally, I don't do that because that is still cheating. It takes longer using my method, but at least I will always have the satisfaction that I earned what I have without having to resort to cheating.

Mod Shop code

Can anyone explain how the Mod shop code works? Do I need to be in a mart and hit the key sequence? or do I need to be in a particular place? thanks for the help

Mod Shop i believe happens anywhere, just do the key sequence and you should get a menu similar to those if you talk to a Pokemart Clerk

I have a little question. I'm at the safari zone trying to catch a Chansey, and I can encounter them but I can't catch one. Does anyone know what works best on Chansey (like rock or bait)?

Supposedly if you throw a rock at it then you have like an 80% chance of catching one. I think it was my second try? But I always just throw a rock, then pokeball, and I had a Chansey level 39 ready to evolve into Blissey, but I didn't beat the Elite Four yet... xD

Don't throw bait. Either throw ONE rock or just chuck Safari Balls. Catching the rare Pokes like Chansey are totally based on luck. There is no skill involved. Either the Safari Gods smile on you and allow Chansey to stay in the ball, or they let it escape only to snicker at you in the safety of the tall grass.
