I'm thinking it's because you haven't obtained the National Pokedex yet...and because of that you technically aren't supposed to have Johto/Hoenn Pokemon until you have it.

I'm thinking you traded them over from another FR/LG? or used a Gameshark/AR code to get them?

Anyway beating the Elite 4, and having 70+ Pokemon...should allow you to get the National Dex, and solve your problem.

You can't trade over pokemon that aren't in your pokedex, or could be. It has to be the gameshark.
 
Well, it is probably becuz he used AR or GS on his game too much, therefore it is glitched up now. And he must have the national dex, otherwise he wouldn't be able to find Larvitar, now would he?
 
great now i cant get the national pokedex...
i have 61 pokemon caught, and i read hes suppose to give me the national dex once i catch 60 pokemon, but he doesnt? could this have to do with me having jhoto pokeon in my party?

Catch 9 more Pokemon, I'm pretty sure he gives you it after you have 70...not 60 as you read.
 
no, its 60 pokemon and u r sopposed catch 60 pokemon from kanto, i'm pretty sure he gives it to u
 
im almost embaressed to ask this, but how do i use gameshark on an emulator? all i do is copy and paste the codes, but they dont work. i registered jus to ask that.....

Actually that depends. If you cheated to get those Johto Pokes on your cart, then I wouldn't be surprised if you will never get the NP, and it would serve you right, imo.

As it was stated before, Prof. Oak will give you the NP once you OWN 60 different species (that doesn't include wild Pokes that you have only seen). Evolving Pokes also count towards that total.

Yes it is. It has good SAtk and SDef and above average Spd. It has a good movepool and its Soundproof Ability is great in link battles. Here is the best moveset for it:

Mr. Mime
- Baton Pass/Thunderbolt/Barrier
- Calm Mind
- Psychic
- Substitute/Thunderbolt/Barrier

Personally, I prefer BP/CM/Psychic/Sub, but TB can take down Gyarados, and Barrier ups its Def, making it a decent tank against both physical and special attacks.

i dunno im starting to think my game is messed up , cuz i traded the jhoto pokemon from my fire red and the trade worked, so im really confused ><
(I did no use a AR or GS)

Oh darn...can anyone here help me please? My friend said that after we beat the league for the first time, Lorelei will go to four island...but how about my case...? After I beat the league for the first time, she didn't go to four island...so I beat 'em again and again and again (I know I've beat em before...when we entered the league for the first time, Lance will say 'I've heard about you, Fire' but if we've beat em before he'll say 'So u've returned, Fire!') and now I'm starting to wonder...is there any item I haven't found? T_T Or...is that because of my team's level is low? Here's my team members:
Charizard L68
Dewgong L64
Pikachu L64
Lapras L 62
Zapdos L58
Pidgeot L56

Please help me anyone...I can't go anywhere now!>.<, thanks a lot b4
