    Which one do you prefer?

    I prefer Simpsons because it has better humor and it does not repeat the same things over and over like Family Guy.
     
    I'd have to say the Simpsons, generally a funnier and better show. Family Guy is still quite entertaining though.

    The Simpsons has a lot more jokes in it designed for younger people, but Family Guy has a lot of jokes that only some people get, or you just laugh at because it comes out of nowhere. It is designed for an older audience as well. Although I disapprove of the drawing style in Family Guy, it is a better show in my opinion.
     
    I'd say Simpsons, if you were talking about the old episodes. The new ones are just stale. Not to mention it's only running on Groening's endless hall of guest stars. So yeah, Family Guy is actually refreshing by comparison. God, that's sad.
     
    Wheres the both option?

    I would have gone for that one because i love them both for diffrent reasons.

    Simpsons - I've grown up with the Simpsons and it sometimes has comedy that is too adult or too childish for me and it stays quite "squeaky clean"

    Family Guy - Its crude and a lot more grown up, Its good because I'm at the age where i get alot of the adult jokes and the childish jokes and the animation is better.
     
    I prefer The Simpsons but probably because I've been watching it for years unlike Family Guy which I havent seen much of anyway.

    Family Guy often goes well off the plot of the episode unlike The Simpsons.

    Hmm this is tough I like both of them but I might choose, Aw what the heck I like both of them so I can't choose which one is better there both funny.
     
    Family Guy was funny for a while, but it has devolved into irredeemable tripe. Simpsons is still pretty good.
     
    I've only seen Family Guy once, but i've probably seen all the Simpsons episodes. Simpsons are probably funnier since Homer is dumb and old... and a lot of people like dumb and old people.

    For me it's all about warming to the characters. I could never feel emotion towards Peter Griffin, whereas Homer on the other hand, might as well be my Dad.

    I agree. i watched Family Guy once, and i thought, this isnt even good. plus, some bits are taken from The Simpsons.

    So it is The Simpsons on that one. i can do quite a few voices on there that are close to the real thing :P
     
    I support Family Guy, as I have seen every episode. The Simpsons has not been good for 8 whole fricking seasons. After its wondorus, amazing glory years of comedy, it began to develop into what we see now- absolute crap. The movie, I say, was wonderful, but this season, and a few seasons before that, have sucked complete ass. I mean, Family Guy is HILARIOUS! Adult humor, funny situations, and an abnormal family. Simpsons, has a completely normal family- Family Guy is family on CRACK. The irrelevant cracks at pop culture, politics, and everything else show that Family Guy is better. Simpsons, which refuses to play off of current events, wallows in mediocrity as its well of "good" sitcom situations runs dry. Meanwhile, Family Guy has a refilling well of humor to play off of. In my experience, Family Guy is far superior, and in about two seasons, it won't have any competitors. Simpsons is circling the drain, folks.

    I have always been a Simpson's fan. I like the jokes and they never seem to get old.

    I think that there's only one truly funny moment in family guy for me and that's the 2girls1cup episode.
     
    I like The Simpsons better. There was always something about Family Guy that just never went down well with me. And The Simpsons is generally more funny IMO.
