Sinnoh Journey Journal v.2 - Share your travelling stories

Okay, I've defeated the Pokemon League, and have become a much better trainer.
Most my team has improved, and my starter Pokemon is finally ahead once again, which I think is appropriate.

My team so far is:
Level 66 Torterra
Level 64 Garchomp
Level 63 Roserade
Level 63 Lucario
Level 64 Staraptor
Level 61 Rapidash
 
Aaah, so it all begins like this...*SNORE* *DROOL*

Training my Ralts or something on the route before Hearthome city... I was hunting for Roselias mostly just cause they give the most XP.

After PwNiNg a ordinary, buck-toothed Bidoof, I walked along the tall grass. When suddenly...

Dan dan dan dan, dadadada dan, dan dan dan, da da dadaaa...

Hold on, this ain't an ordinary Bidoof, it's a yellow one!
Ralts! Use Confusion! But don't pwn it please!

*Throws Pokeball* YAY I CAUGHT A YELLOW BIDOOF Lv 19!!!

Well, this is a story-sharing forum, isn't it...
So, in short, I caught a shiny bidoof :)
 
I am so happy right now!! After training Girafarig and Suoodowoodo [sp?] on Routes 217-18, I decided to chase Cresselia AND ACTUALLY LOWERED ITS HP. Thank you, Glaceon!!
Mesprit, however...I'm gonna need a miracle for that thing.

Current team:
Suoodowoodo: Lvl 35
Girafarig: Lvl 35
Lapras: Lvl 46
Glaceon: Lvl 58
Skarmory: Lvl 59
HMS: [Bibarel] Lvl 19
 
I'm now on my way to Snowpoint City. If my Pokemon aren't at an ideal level when I get to the Pokemon League, I'm going to have to train majorly. Right now, I'm worried they won't be at the level they should be when I beat Volkner.

I'm planning on dumping my Kricketune for a Machoke. Cherrim will probably get the boot too. If anyone has any suggestions on what Pokemon I should get rid of and replace them with, that would be greatly appreciated.

I was Cresselia hunting and it was SHINY! I threw a Quick Ball and it got captured! Now I have 2 Shiny Cresselias!

Huh?? Since when is there more than one Cresselia in the game? :\
But speaking of the Lunar Pokemon, I froze it and now its HP is in the yellow zone.
How it's still able to flee, I'd love to know.

Okay, I've beaten my rival quite a bit (after the Pokemon League), and since I've been battling him a lot, I've improved quite a bit too.

I've also been training at the Pokemon League, and that has helped me become a better trainer, too.

Level 68 Roserade
Level 65 Lucario
Level 66 Staraptor
Level 68 Rapidash

I've been trying to make all my Pokemon level 100, but so far I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place, because my team is getting very hard to level up now.

Anyway, as for me, I'm still journeying through the Sinnoh and meeting many new people as well as learning the lessons of losing and winning......
 
I currently have 7 badges. I beat Candice on Tuesday or Wednesday; didn't play at all really yesterday. I caught a Sneasel which replaced Cherrim. Although I'm thinking of rotating my Pokemon.

So here's my team right now:

Empoleon ~ Lv. 44
Kricketune ~ Lv. 38
Pachirisu ~ Lv. 37
Girafarig ~ Lv. 37
Drifblim ~ Lv. 36
Sneasel ~ Lv. 37

Reserve:

Cherrim ~ Lv. 34

Yeah, I'll probably just rotate my Pokemon and train them all just in case I might need Cherrim for a battle in the Elite Four. Since Piplup is now Empoleon and I now have a Pokemon to use Rock Climb, I'm gonna go up Mt. Coronet now. :D What fun.
 
I finally got to Solaceon Town. After levelling my Buizel, Luxio, and Monferno to level 30 on Pearl (and them evolving), I decided to start training Shieldon in the Lost Tower on my way to get strength. With only a few level ups, I pulled out my Vs Seeker before I passed Solaceon. My current team is:

Monferno Lv30

Floatzel lv30

Luxray lv30

Shieldon lv28

Staravia lv23

Geodude lv15

I'm going to finish Staravia's and Geodude's training after I beat Maylene.

EDIT:

I'm mainly overtraining so that the two Ace Trainers before Veilstone don't own me like they did my first run through Diamond XD.

God, I saw a shiny in the Safari (in Platinum, I had to get that Poketch app) and it ran off! Back to hunting my third Cresselia, now in Platinum. I have a Shiny in Diamond and a Shiny in Pearl.
 
I've been trying to become a better trainer, and so I've been battling people with the VS seeker, and have succeeded so far (I've also been trying to get my Torterra up to level 100).

My team as of yet:
Level 87 Torterra
Level 82 Garchomp
Level 84 Roserade
Level 85 Lucario
Level 83 Staraptor
Level 84 Rapidash

What are the ideal levels for challenging the Elite Four? Like what level should I have my Pokemon at.

I say with that team you'll do fine being around the mid 50's...like 55 or so...

Anyway, right now I am in the fight area getting ready to start training a pokemon of mine to lv.100.....I've already EV trained him and checked his stats in an IV battle, I have to say it was maxed out.....well my journey continues as "a pokemon master in the making!"
 
An update on my Pearl version:

My Lucario has now reached level 61. That Exp Share has really helped.

In Diamond:

I have arrived in Jubilife City, where I dropped by the trainer school. I also obtained the Poketch.
 
shiny lucario

i have been trying to get a shiny lucario forever by breeding lots of eggs i have bred 129 riolus and so far have been unsuccesful. i dont have an action replay so i have to do this till i get one. eventually i got desperate that i thought if i bred a pokemon holding a shiny stone it would lay an egg that would hatch into a shiny pokemon.

Wow, made my team feel really weak... I just passed through there myself, with a team of...

Lv 24 Staravia
Lv 25 Graveler
Lv 29 Kadabra
Lv 26 Monferno
Lv 27 Budew (can't figure out how its happiness isn't max yet :()
Lv 22 Luxio

I've been doing fine, and my moves are rather balanced, so I'm not too worried about what I'll run into.

Edit: Holy... I really should've trained them more... after that dual battle with those Ace Trainers, I was left with my Budew... I couldn't get through them without having my Graveler Selfdestruct... even my Luxio got crushed. :(

right now I'm currently berry hunting. Trying to collect berries. I think I'm going to migrate some thru sapphire to update my collection.
