All of my recent happenings are summarized in my signature, but to expand on that...

Well, as this is my first time posting here, let's start with the basic info:

Diamond

Diamond is the first Pokemon game where I voluntarily chose to play as a guy. (And my character's name is Lupin, named after a character in my upcoming Pokemon fanfic.) In this game, I'm going to catch every Pokemon I'm interested in and raise them all equally. Currently I have one badge, about 30 hours of play time, and the following Pokemon: (in no particular order)

...And I have yet to find Heracross and Munchlax, but I'm not really interested in the other Pokemon that can be found in Diamond so far.

Recently, I've spent lots of time in the Underground. So far, I found some neat stuff like a Star Piece, two different plates, two different evolution stones, and five fossils. Anyways, the Pokemon I most recently caught was Combee--I had to restart the game a few times in order to get a female one. I also recently caught Burmy--then I had to keep restarting till I got a male Burmy because I don't really care for Wormadam.

Today in Diamond:
-My Burmy transformed into its Steel form for the first time
-Found a Skull Fossil and a Max Revive in the Underground
-Visited the building with the TV in front (whatever it's called) in Jubilife City for the first time
-Decorated my Cherubi and got her picture taken
-Obtained the Memo Pad for the Poketch

Pearl

In Pearl I'm this girl named Yamiko, and my game strategy is different than in Diamond. In Pearl, I'm going to only train six Pokemon at a time--my best Pokemon team. Team members have been coming and going over the past few weeks, and I am sort of working towards a dream team. I think on that team I wanted Empoleon, Luxray, Mismagius, Vespiquen, Leafeon, and Froslass, if I'm not mistaken. My current team is in the banner in my signature, but to be more exact:

Brucey (male Prinplup)--level 20
Sam (male Roselia)--level 20
Cubby (male Luxio)--level 20
Wendy (female Drifloon)--level 22

Currently in Pearl I have 16 hours of play time, and two badges. I have gotten a Bicycle, but didn't make it to Hearthome City yet. I did spend some time in the Underground as well, though not nearly as much as in Diamond. Another thing I did recently was have a battle with someone I met in school recently, and won. The most recent Pokemon I caught was Drifloon (and that was a week or two ago...), and my Roselia just evolved a couple of days ago. Also I've been growing quite a few berries recently--now I have about 50 Razz Berries and 50 Bluk berries, and about 20 of the others...

Today in Pearl:
-Harvested berries before going through Mt. Coronet. Now I have only one berry tree left to harvest--an Oran tree.
 
Caught that elusive Modest Synchronize Kadabra, and I've been soft resetting for a shiny Dialga since about 2 AM on Wednesday.

I've been soft resetting for Turtwig on Pearl, but not a lot. I need to soft reset for it more...
 
i got my entire team above lv50

beat all of the elite four, found out that in my game bertha has a shiny Hippowdon took a moment to say wow before i annihilated it

did well against Cynthia, Scared her Spiritomb away with Mismagius's perish song a couple times then killed it with Flora Mask (Roserade) then got destroyed in the wost way by her Garchomp

finished my Sinnoh Dex by letting Uxie and company kill me (too hard to catch right now, not prepared)

more training ahead for my Weavile to combat Cynthias Garchomp, i think lv70 will do it

tried catching a Stantler, got mad at it and killed it...
Hatched my Chimchar egg, it had the moveset of my Blaziken.
Piplup from the GTS evolved into Prinplup
Caught another Geodude (needed something to use Rock Climb because I forgot to bring my Steelix)
Caught Dratini
Caught a Chansey in hopes of Lucky Egg and realized I should just teach a Pokemon some item stealing move.
Searched: Chained Growlithe in hopes of finding a shiny... Chained Zubat in hopes of finding a shiny (Bibarel broke the chain at 25), Chained Slowpoke... it didn't go well... and last I chained Nincada got 13 until... Misdreavus...
Glaceon leveled to 56 =D (I finished EV training it at like... 33)
~Saved~ (this all started about 4 PM, took a break for Dinner and such)
 
It's been a while since I posted. I took a break from Pearl to watch those old GameBoy Advance videos. (I only have one...)

After raising Ender up a bit, I decided to head back to Snowpoint City. There, I battled for my seventh badge, which I won. It was a stunning sweep by Andrew. With the needed badge in hand, I went on the Palkia side quest.

I caught Palkia at level fourty-seven. Andrew performed as well as I hoped, using Grass Knot twice to get Plakia's HP to the red. Then I started chucking Ultra Balls at it. I felt no need to use my Master Ball. Took only five Ultra Balls to catch it. I nicknamed it "Orson". Bonus points to anyone who can guess why. A clue is in my team's theme of nicknames. ^^

Now I'm just running around, getting back to Pastora City the slow way. Ender enjoys it, as he gets to battle more and get stronger. He enjoys that part of the journey.

It's off to get the last badge that I need!

Today was actually rather productive. I decided that I would attempt to catch the three Lake Legendaries. Mesprit flew off. So I gave up on that one. Azelf decided to be annoying and refused to be captured. And Uxie...

Well, I went into the cave to catch Uxie, armed with 99 Dusk Balls, 3 Quick Balls, and 50 Ultra Balls. (No, I didn't cheat. I just got really rich really fast in Pearl.) I saved my game. After "talking" to Uxie, we went into battle. I sent out Novinha, my Floatsel, because she knows Crunch, which is super effective against Psychic-types. After using Crunch twice, Uxie's HP fell into the yellow. Unfortunately, Uxie used Yawn, so Novinha fell asleep. I threw a Dusk Ball, and Uxie escaped. I threw an Ultra Ball, and Uxie escaped. The fairy tried to use Yawn during this time, so Novinha didn't take any damage. Then by mistake, I threw a Quick Ball...and caught Uxie. I celebrated by eating chocolate ice cream.

Once Uxie was safely tucked into my PC, I decided to head out to Sunyshore City. Watching Angel getting beaten alive by wild Gastrodon made me decide to rework my team. Poor Novinha got upset that she had to leave the team and be replaced by a newly hatched Gastrodon. On the plus side, little Navio is male, so he's good for breeding another Shellos that has a good nature. (I don't focus on getting a good team until after I defeat the game.)

So now I'm in Eterna City, preparing to head into Wayward Cave to get the Earthquake TM and catch a Gible.

The shinies I used are mine, and they are legit. I just soft reset for them. After I watch the credits, I'm going to get the PokeRadar and try to get some shinies from there.
 
I have never done anything like this

I just started my battle with Dialga. I was using my LV.48 Infernape I used close combat it left it with just one hp left. I was prepared for the battle to I bought 30 ultra balls just to catch it with. I only had to use one. On my first try I caught him. that was the shortest legendary pokemon battle I have ever been in.
 
Well, I was EV training my newly hatched Dratini, when all of a sudden, I hear the music you hear when you run into Mesprit.

So with a level 6 Dratini, I couldn't do much...

So I threw my spare Master Ball.

JUST happened, I'm about to throw the ball right now. XD

The same thing happened to me!!!
I was in route 202 I think using the Pokeradar on bidoof and all of a....well same thing as you.
 
Dialga

Ages ago when i beat the galatic leader. I was about to walk up to dialga, and i didnt save, because i thought i would right in front of it. Unfortuenly, i took one step, and i was automatically walked to Dialga, and sent into a battle. I got him down to mid orange health, and with my also mid orange health lucario got him third utlra ball. Possibly the easiest legendary fight i have ever had.

I caught a Mespirit as I was trying to EV train my Monferno and Gible. That's about all.
 
Pokemon Diamond Team

Empoleon (Aqua) lvl 42

=> Taught Ivy Solorbeam
=> Left 2 Bunzel in the daycare center (going to train the Bunzel egg to be a contest pokemon)

=>Got to the top of Mt. Coronet and beat both Mars and Jupier in a double battle with my rival (he didn't do much, but his pokemon did make a good target as most of Mars and Jupter pokemon attacked my rival). After that I managed to beat the boss's pokemon and healed up the 20 super potions i bought ealier. Im ready to soft reset for a shiny Diagla.
 
I got tired of chaining fairly easily, so now I'm soft resetting for a shiny Azelf on Diamond. I'm hoping that it has a Naive nature.

I'm soft resetting for a shiny Turtwig on my Pearl version. Wish me luck.
 
As of today in my Diamond, my time is 183:01, and I started my adventure on May 04, 2007. I got 3 Lucky Eggs, Obtained 296/Seen 348 in my National Pokedex and Obatined 138/Seen 150 in Sinnoh Dex. I have no shinies, I have from Rotom to Cresselia (excluding Palkia...) My starter team are all currently at Lv. 68, Empoleon, Roserade, Luxray, Rapidash, and my Staraptor. I haven't done any contests or the Battle Tower... and finally, the following were caught in: Rotom/Poke Ball; Uxie/Poke Ball; Mespirit/Quick Ball; Azelf/Great Ball; Dialga/Great Ball; Heatran (Female)/Poke Ball; Regigigas/Poke Ball; Giratina/Timer Ball; and Cresselia/Quick Ball. Saving the Master Ball for (if ever) Darkrai, Shaymin, and Arceus events... And thats my Adventure so far!
 
I officially complete my Diamond's National Dex today. All I need to do is get one more Pokemon...
 
Dialga

Lol, it isn't much but.. I bought 123 ultra balls for Dialga and only needed 2. But, I finnaly caught him. :)
