Smile! :)

    When you're either taking a picture of yourself or getting a picture taken by someone else, do you force a smile, not smile at all or smile naturally? This question was inspired by the post your pictures discussion thread, which got me wondering.

    So yeah how do you smile in pictures?
     
    I don't do a grin (grins make me look stupid), but I try to at least pull off a small smile, by moving my lips up. Typically I don't smile; not that I'm sad, more that I'm lazy. And I don't want to look neutral in all of the pictures of me.

    Or, in smilie form: I do :), but not :D, and try to avoid looking like :|.
     
    I always avoid showing my teeth when I can, but I usually give a small smile, even if I am pretending.
     
    I'm usually good at faking facial expressions, so even though I'm forcing the smile, it appears natural. :D
     
    The only times I don't smile in a picture is either when I'm pissed or when I'm in a situation where doing anything is ridiculous. I tend to make a smile whenever I'm with friends. They make me smile, so I'll smile. :) There are very few photos where I put up a fake smile.
     
    I can't smile because I'm emo. Just kidding. ...sort of.

    Well, when taking a picture of myself I either forcibly smile or just don't smile at all. When it's someone taking my picture (like school photo) or a picture of me with friends, I usually smile because I'm happy or I force a smile. I usually hate smiling though, because really, I cant smile, and my smiles suck. That is why this year, I'm not smiling in my school photo. If I do end up smiling, it will be without showing teeth.

    The word 'smile' has officially lost its meaning to me, now. :D

    I always smile because it's just depressing to look back at photos and seeing a frown or a sullen face. XD; But if I really don't care about the picture or I'm thinking to hard about smiling I usually don't show my teeth and just grin instead. I don't know why. :|
     
    I don't really smile or frown, I just have a plain look most of them time. :/
     
    I try to do that closed mouth type of smile where my lips curve upward. Sometimes it doesn't look like I'm smiling but I am, lol. I don't like showing off my crooked teeth in photos.
     
    I dislike posing for smiles in pictures because I usually look awkward, the smile forced. ^^; I look good when I'm smiling in shots that I didn't know were being taken.
     
    It seems that when someone else takes my picture, I have to force a smile and that doesn't look good lmao. Same as if I was getting my picture took with someone. If I'm on my own taking a picture I just grin/smile naturally. I mainly grin, though. XDD;
     
    I don't smile....at all. I like to try to keep a neutral straight face when taking pics. Sometimes, when someone is taking my picture I sometimes snicker but hold it in which turns into this creepy smile, and an ugly picture :|.

    it's funny; i smile when i'm talking to people but i find posing a smile for photos awkward. it just feels ingenuine, or something. so i usually just make a silly face.
