Snorlax!

Probably my third favorite Pokemon behind Psyduck/Golduck. What a beast in battle too. When Protean Greninja was introduced and was all the rage, Snorlax was like it's Kryptonite. I can't get enough of Snorlax. Also he's one of those great blends of adorable and badass.
 
Just a heads up, this doesn't really fall under club rules, so I'm going to update the thread title for you, but everyone's free to keep talking about Snorlax here!

As for myself, I always enjoyed Snorlax's appearances in the anime, whether it be Ash's, or some other ones they've come across along the way. Some of my favorite in particular were the snow Snorlax that some of Ash's Pokemon came across (I wanna say it was in one of the Pikachu shorts before the Pokemon movies, but I'm not 100% on that).
 
Snorlax isn't part of my favorites, but it's a decent Pokemon when it comes to battling. (: This is particularly true in older generations!
 
While he's not up there with my top favourites, Snorlax is certainly awesome, mostly because of his anime appearances. He's so simple and honest you can't help rooting for him whenever he appears. He's by far my favourite normal type pokemon.

If I said it before, I'll say it again: I freaking love Snorlax.

1. I was able to defeat the Elite 4 and Champion in Kanto using Snorlax. Remember you could only catch two in those games, so I caught both of them and trained them for the league. They did well. In Kalos, I did the same thing, and did Pokemon Amie with it often.
2. I just like the way how it's so big and fat, and it only eats and sleeps. Even though I am hecka skinny in real life, I seem to have the physical and emotional traits of a Snorlax.

So yeah, Snorlax is my spirit animal favorite Pokemon, and with good reason.

In Kalos, My whole team are snorlax that I've trained from eggs, not using EXP shares or anything.
Got the elite four on my 12th try and the champion on my 26th
 
Snorlax is Very useful in battles, he can take a bunch of damage while i heal the rest of my Pokemon.
Also, he is Very Fat, and erm, cute? You can sleep on him too, that's very useful in a way.
Snorlax is also a very Unique Pokemon, there's not that many Pokemon that is similar to Snorlax.

erm, cute? It's Very cute.
 
Snorlax the Sumo creature. Seriously it is a joke. This thing is suppose to be the ultimate NORMAL monster. Even so it is a like giant fat cat. The eyes are like snake eyes ( Meowths ) eyes at times. We would joke about how the Snorlax his hyper beam comes out of his butt. It was funny playing this creature. I can't believe I wasted so much time trying to catch this thing. The second one was even easier as I KOed the first one.
 
I love Snorlax, for not just being a gentle giant that you want to hug but also for its battling capabilities. Being a Normal-type, it's expected to have a variety of moves to learn and it's also got some nice competitive sets, like the dreaded Curselax set that can wreck a lot of stuff it's up against.

That was only for that one scene in Pokemon Origins. It was hilarious replaying it becuase, like, what the heck was that. The regular anime potrays the attack by shooting from the mouth, which should be normal.
 
While I don't count it among my absolute favorites, I would say just outside my favorites list. I do like it a lot, and use it occassionally for fun!

Haha, I remember some years ago I trained a Snorlax to win every Pokéathlon event in Heart Gold, just for the fun of it! It's hilarious to see my Snorlax smoking the competition of much more ideal choices.

Also I just think Snorlax is adorable. Very huggable.
 
The best thing about Snorlax is that we all know a Snorlax IRL. XD

Seriously though, Snorlax is the epitome of chill: sleep and eat, rinse and repeat!
