    [PokeCommunity.com] Snowpoint Temple and Regigigas

The Snowpoint Temple is located in the north-side of Snowpoint City. The temple cannot be entered until the National Pokédex has been obtained. Once inside, you'll find sets of challenging puzzles, rare items and some new Pokemon to catch. At the bottom of the temple, lies a statue of a giant creature known as Regigigas, which you can only face after collecting the three Regis and having them in your party with you!

What did you think of Regigigas? Were the puzzle tricky to you? Did you find catching Regigigas at Level 70 in D/P but at Level 1 in Platinum a ripoff? Anything else about the temple you find mesmerizing?

I really liked the idea of Snowpoint Temple and Regigigas and I even think Game Freak planned something like this when creating the original Regi trio. The puzzles were pretty good, but unfortunately I never captured Regigigas.

The biggest problem with regigigas was the unavailability. The only way to get regigigigas was to have the three regis, this meant the only way to get them was to transfer them from rse, or in platinum, get the event regigigas, unlock the 3 regis, then unlock the snowpoint regigigas. This makes it difficult for those who are buying old games again to obtain one (the only reason i have the snowpoint regigigas is cuz i hacked the event one for the platinum stuff, sue me).

The puzzles were fairly easy to be fair, kinda felt like a downgrade form the gen iii regi puzzles. Catching regigigas didn't cause me much trouble afaik, false swipe and thunderwave in platinum was all I needed, dp wasn't too difficult either.

The temple itself I always found quite nice, and ominous, the pokemon found in there weren't too bad (in platinum anyway). The pre-regi regigigas though kinda ruins the atmosphere, maybe they should've greyscaled it or something.

But yeah overall, pretty good, could've been improved a little though.

As little of a thing as it is, I was glad this was put in the game. It just fits with the region perfectly, which I always think of as a very legend-heavy region. Getting the last regi wasn't too hard, either. :)
