I'm 15 and started playing when I was 6, I'm okay if people at school find out since I know a lot of people are too scared to admit they play.
I'm 19 and have played since red and blue first came out. Unfortunately all of my friends grew out of pokemon years ago, but that never stopped me from playing. I carry my pokewalker to college everyday and catch a few pokemon when the lectures get droll. I love pokemon and will never stop lovin it!!!
=_=;; i feel old for this silly kids game. But oh well I love it still :D
That's the spirit! I sometimes feel out of place playing it too, but it's something I love and won't let age get in the way of it
The funny thing is my oldest son is older than most of you here! I am 38 and a former Marine, but I enjoy the Pokemon franchise. Well, except for DPP. I get ribbed occasionally by a few friends at work because of it, but I could care less. I really enjoy the strategic elements of the game and back in the RBY days it was a way that I could associate and interact with my sons. We even had a good neighborhood group where we used to live and hold tourneys and such. My oldest is off to college, but he is saving up to get HG. I got SS last week (or the week before) and my other two sons have dusted off their GBAs and have been playing their RSE and FRLG carts. My youngest even broke out our Silver version so he could be like dad! I will always enjoy Pokemon, but am going to be pretty disappointed if the next gen doesn't use the 2gb cart and is dramatically improved over HGSS.
