So I started my own reddit on my pokemon project because why not

As title suggests like,i started my own reddit for my pokemon fangame thing because its the best way to post updates though the problem is like i just hope i don't get touch criticism like i know im supposed to expect it but sometimes it can be really hurtful like one time this person decided to just call me out on my punctuation which i felt was really like really rude and unasked for so ya know.

I just hope my project is gonna turn out awesome cause I'm really passionate about this but it's hard to take criticism like that as well as other feedback like "avoid doing so and so" and like "dont make it edgy"

Taking (and giving) feedback is an art and a hard skill. It can be practiced and trained. Remember what you want to get out of it; if people give you silly or mean-spirited criticism it might not always be well meant and that's their skill being low, but if you invite criticism and feedback to begin with, you probably do it because you wish to improve, right?

For example, on punctuation and grammar. It might seem silly to give feedback on, especially if it's worded rudely, but well written posts and information sure goes a long way to make a project seem serious and promising tbh. So perhaps you can
take something away from that piece of criticism even?

I get very affected when people insult me or try to be mean towards me, so I get that it brings one down easily. Every time someone criticizes you though, it is an opportunity for you to win, if you reflect over what they said and look for things that actually make sense, because that means you can become even better. Don't let the lazy feedbackers and the trolls beat you ^^

I know but due to my stupid autism (i haven't accepted myself with that fact which my mental health is low) i get upset really easily plus most of the feedback just sort of either didn't help me or just pointed out grammar and such

Anything is that i'm nervous of like sharing the reddit stuff to other people in communities cause i normally just try and show people my stuff in other ones rather than create my own blog or community thing but here we are.

As mentioned, you're posting something wanting feedback and as a result you have to be prepared for critique both positive and 'negative'. After all, you're essentially asking how something of yours can be improved and people are generally going to be posting about that.

That's not to say you need to accept all that is thrown your way - if someone is being snide and therefore not helpful then as best you can put that comment to one side and move on to the next (especially as you said it affects you a lot).

Otherwise just all about taking everything you can from it and leaving the rest behind; after all what the latter wants is that reaction and if you ain't giving it to them, you'll find they tend to stop pretty quickly!

Yeah that's true - i often focus more on like feedback that actually like helps my project rather than not because there's no point in reacting to the negative feedback the same way especially if ya know they sort of just avoid what i'm asking instead of answering in a way.

Thanks for like helping me understand it though - it's been up and down a lot with them this week so it's hard to try and do my best on my project so.
