So, why DID you join PC in the first place?

I joined because one of my PC friends, Red-kun (former PC counterpart) it was him who suggested that I do so after he gave me the link to this forum here.

To be honest, I can't remember exactly! It was ages ago! But I seem to remember the Art Gallery being very active at the time with lots of friendly members, so this encouraged me to join and post my own artwork. I think this was my main reason for joining. :)

A friend was like "Look! A fanclub! Join this forum and post there :D" ...I think. It might have been "Oh, this forum looks interesting. I'll go post in the fanclub too!" Can't remember anymore. Yeah, that's pretty bad. XD;

I became inactive for a bit; I'd only post in the club. Then I got sick of SPPF (I used to live there @_@) and started coming here more. I was in PA (HotS back then) for a bit, and then I moved here. ^_^

"Well.
1. I really love Poke'mon.
2. It sounded nice.
And 3. Pikalove suited it well....."

WELL U C I COULDN'T TRADE MY DEOXYS TO EMERALD LOL.

No seriously. It's true. If It wasn't for my twin Paul, RPs, Chairman Kaga-sama, and Pincushion's art shop, I'd be gone.

Cuz my bestest friend Chuchino had to leave Serebii and I joined PC to bug her keep in touch with her. :3

♥ Natti.

EDIT:

Plus, I finally ditched SPPF and their server is horrible anyway. I can barely make it to the main forum's index page and then it would crash.

Somebody mentioned it on SPPf, so I checked it out. I didn't actually become active on it until I stopped using Serebii altogether.

DOOD, THE FULL STORY IS SO MUCH MORE DRAMATIC o3o

EDIT: George, Natti, you killed the suspense D:

you explained better than I could've :x

I am somewhat of a refugee. I use to frequent a site called Animal Crossing Community because it dealt with Animal Crossing and other wireless DS games such as Pokemon.

Then one day they decided Pokemon threads were swamping their boards and decided to limit them two to stickies - one for trading and another for battle. It was quite silly as many members whether new or old protested such harsh conditions. So people simply called for an exodus and I left along with the tide.

I checked out Serebii but didnt like their community atmosphere. Not to mention I felt like I was on dial-up again. Then I stumbled upon PC. Awesome layout which is streamlined and clean. Nice and friendly atmosphere. It held my interest and I decided to stay.

Yep. That's about why I joined too. Saw PC on someone's sig on SPPF, took a look, joined. SPPF's server's didn't suck back then, but I still started getting sick of SPPF. I only hung out in one subforum anyway, and it was pretty darn boring. Was pretty happy when I saw that Sweet_May and DM were on here, but I don't really talk to them anymore. :x I love talking to Sweet_May whenever I sign onto AIM though, even though the conversation's kind of eventless. xD;

I was looking for a Pokémon oekaki to register and draw at. So I was really a member first at the oekaki, then a member here at the forums.

Thanks, Google.

Youthful naivety mixed in with a wide knowledge of Pokemon really gets you places.

And Google, too.

I found PC just a year and a few days ago. I happened to be searching up pictures of Pokemon things at the time and found a whole lot of them linked to MCG's fanclubs. Then I decided to join... and have been here for an entire year now.

Yeah something dam weird happened to me that compelled me to join

there is a lot of piracy where I live. Now I bought pokemon shinygold(the first beta). At that time I didnt exactly know about beta's and stuff so I expected a full version. When I wasnt able to get past the 3rd gym, I got pissed .So I saw the intro in which zel had written "feel free to post your comments on pokecommunity" .And so I came here

I really thank pokecommunity because at that time I didnt even know that a kid could make a game .I used to think that only professionals could make games. So once again thanks pc for showing me how to make my own games

And most of all thanks for being such a wonderful, noob friendly(atleast I was a noob back then) place

I googled a pokemon forum. That's all there is to it. I was a noob looking for my first forum. And I'm still here today, but cured of my noobiness after my year of absence.

well i got zel's hack from a friend ... thought it was a full version, then was surprised when i couldnt get in the ice path
so i came here 2 check it all out ... google is your friend ^^

I was just trying out romhacking coz i was bored... Well, i saw Scizz's collection on other websites, typed Scizz on google, out comes Poke-community, so i join and start Stalking Scizz... I dont know if he knows that *hides*

Well I was getting back into Pokemon again. (I go through phases) So my friend just randomly recommended this place to me and I decided 'Well I have nothing better to do! Why not join?' and that's pretty much my story.
Thank you Katsu-Bang!

i just got a laptop and it means lots of time on the net i was looking fro a pokemon forums and this was the first result i joind serebii but i got banned for no reson

I joined back in September 04', when I was 10. I joined when I saw the Shiny Hunters Club, and I've been a member on both places since. But I found this place on a search engine-- I was looking about how to get Deoxys in Fire Red and Leaf Green. But also, in like 02' or 03', I stumbled upon this site but I didn't know what it was lol
