Social Networking Sites - Which do you use most and how do you use them?

Which social networking site do you use the most today?

1. Twitter
2. Facebook
3. MySpace
4. LinkedIn
5. Google+

For each one you have used before, what do you primarily use them for?

If there are some you never have or no longer use, why?

I've used all five, but am not incredibly active on LinkedIn and no longer use MySpace (although my account is still there).

-Twitter I use daily for work through a corporate ID. I do have a personal one (@IanHerndon), but am not incredibly active with it and out of close to 4000 followers I may only know .5% of them in real life.
-Facebook I seem to be on less and less nowadays, but it has the largest concentration of people I actually know in real life. Quite reverse to my Twitter 'friends', out of 1000 FB friends I know 95% of them in person or through other friends.
-Google+ is still new, but I would say my friend interactions would be a mishmash between Twitter and Facebook. I've invited all of my FB friends to it and many of them are registered now. I have a number of Twitter users in my G+ circles, but a good half or more are newly discovered online users through G+ itself.
-LinkedIn I have an account for and it may appear active because I have 500+ connections, but I really only have it for the sake of having it in the event I'm ever looking for a new career in the future. I'd say I mostly use it when looking up the career backgrounds of others I know.
-MySpace is the one I'm never logged into and very frequently forget my password for when I do my once or so login a year lol. I stopped using it because of all the clutter, spam, and long page load times resulting from tons of glittery blinking pictures and music streams.

I used to use facebook, but I trolled random people so much that I got banned from it :laugh:... whatever. I rarely used it for social networking anyways and I really don't care that I can't get into it anymore. I can just text my friends anyways and I have twitter also.

I do have twitter (no, it's not @2cool4mewtwo), but I only use it to interact with real life friends only, so I don't give out my twitter id randomly. I also follow most football/soccer players with it, and rarely celebrities. (example: @rioferdy5)

Hands down, Twitter is probably the social networking site I use the most. I tweet pointless things all day everyday. Funny enough, I keep in touch with people best over Twitter than I do with Facebook or even IM.

Facebook, I use sometimes and mostly with IRL friends (though I have a few exceptions), but I'm not nearly as active there as I once was. Twitter basically has taken over as my #1 social networking site.

And lol I had a MySpace once upon a time but it's sitting out there in the vast www collecting dust and rotting slowly.

I never actually had a Myspace, skipped that entire craze...
I do use Facebook the most though... I have a Twitter, but I don't use it that much, mainly just to follow people and get updates about people I like on Youtube or whatever. Sometimes I tweet random stuff when I get bored, but not regularly...

I use it sporadically. It's still my most active of the social networking sites I use, considering I barely use my facebook and when I do it's for terrible joke statuses, teehee.

I use it about once a week. I never saw why everyone got it into it, I just got it so I could contact friends quickly and whenever I wanted, which isn't much because I just got their msn/skype instead, lol.

lumped them all together because they're all terrible, terrible sites and if you use any of these sites actively you should be labeled as a pariah

I use Twitter a lot, so it's probably my most used site. It's another place I can talk to PC friends when PC is down or I'm too lazy to sign into MSN. Before my summer holidays I used to use Facebook a lot. During the holidays I deactivated my account because I wasn't going to use it. Now that school has started again I've reactivated it. I think I had a MySpace account in like 2006, I didn't even know what I was doing so I left, lol. I don't even know what LinkedIn is, sooo. I've never gotten around to look into Google+

Facebook is definitely the one that I use the most, followed by Twitter. I used to use MySpace too but I stopped using it 'cause it was kinda boring.

I only use Facebook out of those sites, It has all my friends on it and they are very active, although I use Pokecommunity more often than social networking sites, I prefer to talk face to face rather than on Facebook.

I have twitter and google+
I also have facebook but since google+ came out facebook has just spammed carbon copy features of twitter and google+ trying to one up them and its just made it all confusing and i don't think i'll bother learning how to use the new one.
I use twitter for people on PC and other websites and google+ is pretty much the same but i don't mind branching out to people i know irl. Facebook was mostly close online friends and irl friends but like i said i don't use it much now ^-^'

Facebook is the only social networking site i use. I used to hate social networking sites, but after I got forced by my friends to register on facebook, I suddenly got in love to TROLL my friends on what ever they post. And by the way, whats a twitter?

The only place I frequent for irl friends is facebook.

However, there's another Korean twitter-like site called plurk that I'm on much more. Not because I'm Korean, because I'm not, but because all of my LJ friends are there and yeah it's good times.

I use facebook the most I have to say because that is how I keep in touch with my family.
Then comes Twitter, that is just amusing to me. I do not use MySpace, LinkedIn or Google+. I have never got into the three to be honest.

Facebook and Twitter are naturally both what I use. I don't use one more than the other. Though I can say that majority IRL friends are there because I'm a school photo source.

I may not be the best photographer but I do get photos from pretty much every event at school and that's what I use my facebook most.

Also the fact that since all my RL friends are added on my FB and are on a lot of the time I can ask them about school stuff and that sorta stuff. I have a few online friends as well there

As for twitter, it's mostly my online friends with a few RL friends. Cause twitter is connected to my phone it's like cheaper international texting for me. Also I have a lot of PCers on text alert so it's cool to know what most people are up too.

Twitter, hands down. I use that to communicate with online friends and my closer offline friends. I log in to Facebook once a week, if that. I really don't like logging in there. I don't like half the people on my friends list (which leads me to ask why I have them as friends) and the people I talk on there, I can talk to through other means. I haven't been on Myspace in four years, and I don't have an account on LinkedIn. I forget about Google+ consistently.

Facebook is my favourite of the bunch, use it to talk to friends, share photos, arrange events, remember birthdays - it's just overall very useful. Have been meaning to use Google+ for a while though so this could take over!

Windows Messenger is the only social tool I find need of.

I use Twitter so I can share some of the answers I post at Yahoo. It is useful to help my friends out as they can just search for a solution.

I use Facebook every day, all my friends are there from various websites too. I don't use Twitter at all, I have seen it but I don't get it. I never heard of LinkedIn. I had a MySpace account, I have not logged in almost 5 years by now. I'm also on Google+ but I don't use it much, about once a month or so, for me its boring compared to Facebook.
