Research: Songtable Sounds Listing

Is there a guide on replacing these? I've inserted a sample, but don't really know how to repoint it over the originals.

Once you import your sample go to the "edit songtable" button of the song and change the pointers there.

You mean edit voice table? I tried that... there doesn't seem to be an edit songtable button, even though it does list the address for the songtable(not that I'd know how to replace it without messing up other offsets or repoint it)... This is what I posted on another thread:

Hey guys, trying to insert custom sound effects ( these in Sappy https://www.pokecommunity.com/archive/index.php/t-209508.html ) over what's already in Firered. I know how to import a sample for high quality cries, but I can't seem to get the custom sound effects to replace the sounds in Sappy. I'm testing the 5th sound in Sappy (the clink sound for menus and text), and replacing it with a sound from the Zelda Oracle games. I tried using the manual offset I imported the sample over in the edit voicegroup box for the sound effect in Address 1 to no avail:

...as the sound wasn't really replaced, it was the same as before.

Anyone have any ideas?

After changing address 1 it doesn't do anything, any tips? I'd ask you in chat but idk if you're recording right now

The instrument number that plays when viewing the song is the one you have to change in the voicegroup. You're editing #0.

Le created a video for Emerald sound effects, added to the first post!

EDIT: Added FR as well
