3rd Gen Sound the Trumpets!

    Generation three of games arguably had one of the best music, consisting of ones from FireRed and LeafGreen, all the way to Pokémon Emerald.

    Of all songs that you have been able to listen from these games, which would you consider your most favorite, and why? Which's your second favorite, and which is your third? If you were given a chance to change something about these music, would you accept? If you would what, what are some things that you'd be changing?
     
    Hoenn's Victory Road is tops for me. It is so intense, it really feels like the final road. A lot of times, I will have this music playing while I'm browsing here. Second would have to be the diving theme. This theme always gets stuck in my head, it's so calming and peaceful, I could fall asleep to this music. I also play this music while browsing PC. Now, from Kanto, I'd have to say the dungeon theme is my favorite. I like the mysterious vibe you get from it, it seems like you're lost in a maze. It is perfect dungeon music.
     
    This track... oh my god this track. This track is absolutely beautiful. It's adventurous and it has such an awesome trumpet solo. I love it so much.

     
    RSE by far has the best array of music of the franchise IMO. Personally I enjoyed the Elite Four Theme, Gym Leader Theme, Petalburg City, Slateport City and obviously loads more.
     
    Personally, I enjoy listening to diving music. It's calm, soother, and suits the atmosphere of undersea pretty well, if you ask me!

    Along with above, another one I'm fan of is Slateport City. It's loud, vibrant, and cheerful. Every time I listen, it never ceases to make me smile, to be honest, haha. Due to similar reasons, I also like Fortree City theme, as well as Petalburg.
     
    Umm... Let's see...
    The Deoxys Theme,in FR, is all cool its like #bad_things_gonna_happen
    and Diving music in R/S/E
    others aren't BAD but these caught muh attention!!
     
    There isn't a favorite for me at all. Reason being? I like them all. If I had to pick a favorite, it would literally go all over the place any time you asked me that question.

    For the sake of this post, I'll go ahead and claim the Abandoned Ship theme as my favorite. Even though it's such a depressing theme, the overall sound of it is what makes it awesome. My favorite element in the track by far has to be the bells that chime throughout the tune.
     
    My all-time fave music from 3rd Gen (well I'm only going to answer a Hoenn game here since I never played FR/LG) would have to be the theme from Verdanturf Town. It's very peaceful and soft.

    Alongside that, the rival theme gets a nod as well for the more trumpet-heavy themes.

    Verdanturf theme is a very memorable one, in my opinion. It's been a while since I'd last played RSE, but I could still hear its song chiming in my head if I start thinking of the town, haha.
