    Hello there Rob, and welcome to PC! My name is Zach, and it's a pleasure in getting to know you! {:3}

    How long exactly have you been into Pokémon, out of curiosity? I see you're the same age as me (and born not too long after me!) and was just curious! I've been into Pokémon since 1999 when I first saw an episode of the anime, and it aired weekday mornings at 7:00am in my neck of the woods, but my first game was Gold in 2000, and that sparked a (probably lifelong) interest in Pokémon for me! Anyways, if you don't mind me asking, what was your motive in joining our nice community here? Was it for ROM hacking by any chance or to just talk about Pokémon in general? We have quite the large ROM hacking community here, but there's lots more to do around PC! Feel free to browse around and post in whatever sections you feel comfortable in posting in! :3

    As a reminder, though, please be sure to look at the forum rules so that you do not wind up getting into trouble at all.. the last thing we want to see here of new members is them getting an infraction by breaking the rules, but I have my hopes you aren't that type of person ;)

    If you have any questions, please do not hesitate in asking anyone around here on staff! They are the users with the bold usernames, and they would be more than glad in getting to help you out whenever you may need them! :D

    Heya Rob! Hooray for more big Pokemon fans joining us here! I'm sure you're going to fit riiight in.

    Pokemon has been a huge passion of mine since I was a kid too; it really is an amazing franchise. How did you become a Pokemon fan? I got into it when I was about 8 starting with the anime, if I remember right, and at the time everyone in my class was playing the games so I bought them too. Seems like a lot of the old-time fans start with the anime before quickly moving onto the games.. those were the good old days. I remember being unable to get through Ice Cave in Silver and having to lend my game to a friend so he could get through it for me. :D; We have a lot of boards for all things Pokemon, ranging from generation discussions to the anime and trading card game, so I'm sure you'll find what you're interested in here. Big forum, after all!

    And of course it's pretty great that you're sounding excited to be here. Friends will be easy to find so long as you stick around since everyone in our community's quite chatty and always looking to meet new people. Maybe you can dive into some Pokemon Clubs or look around Pokemon General for topics discussing the entirety of the Pokemon world? They're fun places to start off here and are some of my favorite areas on the forum. Though we do have tons of sections so of course it's all up to you.. I'm sure you'll find lots to keep you busy here.

    Have a greaaat time posting around and it's wonderful to meet you! Definitely let a staff member know if we can help you in some way or if you have questions.
