Greenlit: Speculation of new Alolan Forms

I apologize in advance if this was already covered and I missed it ._.

This idea essentially popped into my head earlier today, and I thought it'd be neat to see if we could have an article about this.

Basically, I was scrolling through my news feed on Facebook, and I came across a fan post about the second generation starters and how they would look if they had Alolan forms. It was then that I had remembered that only select first generation Pokémon were given Alolan forms, and not Pokémon from any other generation. (how could I have even forgotten? lmao)

With the announcement of UltraSun and UltraMoon, it makes me wonder if Game Freak has any plans to introduce more Alolan forms, especially from other generations, or also add more first generation Pokémon to the list.

Just a thought to maybe get out there on an article! If possible, I could go out and look for fan art examples (with permission and credit) to add along to the article as well. :)

Anyways, as mentioned elsewhere, there may be some conflict with gimmepie's make an alolan (form) series. If you made it more general/speculating if there will be new forms, how many and what generation of pokemon would receive them, then that'd be alright. But including fan-made forms and specific Pokemon to receive them is overlapping too much.

I'm in complete agreement that general speculating on existence is fine, but adding a focus on specific mon or fan creations overlaps a bit much.
