What was the 1st water pokemon you ever caught?

If I started with a Charmander in Pokémon Blue, I'm guessing that my first water Pokémon was Magikarp, bought from that man outside Pewter City.

My first Water-type was of course Magikarp (but I always in Red and Blue, I started with Squritle)

I think they would eat some special food prepared for them...

Well in our world, Sharks eat other fish ne? So why not in the Poke-world as well? It's as logical as it might be gross/sad :/

It may be logical but, consider this... Would parents allow their children to play or watch the game(or franchise) if it shows gross things like that?

The only pokemon I think is best suitable for "food" is Magikarp. They make delicous sushis!!! >.<

I honestly think the Pokemon world is also inhabited by normal animals. When you think about it, there is so much destruction and mayhem that could happen in the games/show that isn't shown because well...it's for kids. Think of a T for teen or M rated game of Pokemon. Remember the Lucario movie where the Pokemon went to war? That seems like a very real possibility, and not just with humans. Since Pokemon are so much more intelligent than normal animals, I'm sure they'd be capable of that kind of interaction. And yeah, Sharpedos eat Goldeen :D. But I doubt people would eat Pokemon, unless it's dire. But we know Pokemon (some) are carnivores, Pidgeotto tried to eat Caterpie in the second episode.


Wow so none of that is about Water types or what they eat XD.

I'm sure most of them feed on the usual fish type things, maybe plants, bugs, and berries for those than can live on land.

I would assum that barbaroach is eaten as a shrimp, and shelder the mollusk pokemon is just like a clam....... I dunno the idea of edible pokemon is just gross...... *yuck*

So far I love Totodile. He's so eccentric and happy and his voice rocks haha. I can't recall seeing an episode where he evolved or left Ash, did either happen?

He sent Totodile to Prof. Oak. :/ I don't remember when...*thinks* I think sometime after the Silver cup or whatever it's called.

I like Kingler. It was pretty cool to see him evolve right off the bat at the indigo league. As krabby it was so runty XD but it packed a mean punch ^^

So far, it's Squirtle. No objections... Also it's his first water pokemon. Totodile's bit wacky and Buizel's eccentric(don't argue), but Squirtle's cool.
